I found this company through Angie's list and decided to hire them based on the wonderful reviews by previous customers. In addition, there was a deal in Angie's list that saved me about $100 off both services. Jeff arrived before the scheduled time and was already hard at work when I arrived. He was extremely through in the inspection and noted all big and small issues. The report was comprehensive and had lots of pictures. I realized the home had features I didn't even know about from reading the report and looking at the pictures. Jeff was very courteous and cautious with keeping the home clean, and even wore shoe covers while inside the home. I don't think he missed a thing! I am glad I decided to go with a different company than the one my realtor suggested (which my sister had previously used and thought was worthless). Thanks Jeff! Job well done.

Overall I was very satisfied. The property was a bank foreclosure which I already was getting for below market value and due to the report I was able to get an additional $2,000 off because it was obvious I was going to need to need to replace the a/c unit in the near future and put alot of money into fixing up the unit. The only two things he didn't mention were the popcorn ceilings (any unit built before 1979 with popcorn ceilings has a high prob of asbestos and popcorn ceiling removal is around $1200 which I mentioned to the bank) and replacing carpets in both bedrooms.

VERY prompt for the appointment, thorough with the inspection and extremely efficient in preparation of the report! He even provided additional helpful information about the house and recommended which initial improvements would have the best bang for buck. It was a pleasure working with Jeff.

I contacted Mr. Scott and received a call back within the hour. He arrived at the site early and was already inspecting the building when I got there. He took his time and did a thorough inspection explaining everything along the way. He said his report would be in my email box that night and it was. He took numerous pictures which he labeled and used arrows to point out problems. He also completed all forms necessary for insurance purposes. I now feel confident that I will be going into this property with full knowledge of all of it's problems; a lot of which were not obvious and I never would have anticipated. I was very impressed with Mr. Scott's building code knowledge and thankful for his tips for avoiding future home problems. It was a pleasure to find someone so professional and courteous. I highly recommend him.

Jeff arrived on time and was very professional. After the inspection we walked through the entire interior and exterior to show me potential problems. He was very personal and informative, taking plenty of time to review any questions I had. His inspection report was very detailed with pictures of all defects in the home. I would definitely recommend him to any potential home buyers.

It went pretty well. It took a few visits due the insurance companies requirements and various questions regarding the home being over 40 years old. Jeff Scott came back promptly each time to satisfy the insurance companies requirements.

He was very professional and personable on the phone as well as in person, showed up on time (early actually), and performed an above and beyond inspection. My previous inspection was done quicker than Jeff was able to get his ladder out of his Explorer. I would definitely use SureSpect Home Inspection again and would recommend him to anyone.

He got there on time and was very professional. He spent almost an hour in the roof going over it to make sure there were no problems and taking photos. He walked me around my house and pointed out areas where problems could exist and things that I should have done now so that they don't become a problem in the future. He also pointed out what kinds of routine maintenance should be done, when and how often it should be done. His attention to detail is to be commended and his helpful nature and desire to impart needed information to me made him a great value. I saved over 800.00 on my home owners insurance by having this done.
