Went very well, they were punctual, worked and scheduled us around the intermittent rain since this was an outside installation. The results were exactly what we asked for. They were perfectionists and left everything neat and clean, they even set up and programmed the water softener for us.

The job was completed on time and Jim was neat and articulate.

We were experiencing electrical interruption with blinking lights and televisions turning on and off intermittently. We call Sparks and they responded immediately. They came to our address in the morning to assess the issue. They found multiple issues with the electrical and worked all day until the issues were resolved. Our issue was not easy to resolve. Found one issue after another. We recently purchased this home and it was refreshing to have such professional and knowledgeable people trying to resolve. We couldn't have asked for more professional and knowledgeable people to deal with. They didn't even break for lunch but continued above and beyond our expectations until they completed the job. They will provide a comprehensive report with photos for our records. There were numerous code violations which they fixed. I would highly recommend this organization if you have any electrical needs. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Jim and his associate quickly diagnosed the problems and quickly fixed them. The estimate was over $260 but it took them less time than estimated and with the Angie's list Discount I only paid $180. That's pretty good, especially when it included a new breaker, a ballast box and 4 new fluorescent bulbs. I've had work done in multiple houses, and the final bill has rarely been below estimate. I'm very satisfied with their work.

Jim came out to check my electrical service after the Electric company said we had a serious problem. He agreed with them and showed me where our power line and ground wire had serious damage. He was reluctant to turn our power back on. After talking to my brother on the phone and agreeing to replace our meter and electrical panel he came by the next day to repair the melted part of the power line so he wouldn't have to worry about us. Jim had to replace 2 meters and two electrical panels and he told us he would have the work done in one day so we would not be without electricity overnight. The 21st he and his crew showed up at 7am and stayed until 9pm making sure that when he left all was working. His estimate was on the money and his work was excellent and he kept his word on us not being without electricity overnight. I would recommend him and his crew to anyone who needs and electrician. He delivered on all his promises.

He was extremely meticulous. He changed two exterior outlet covers and made the new electical outlet in my garage fit better than the previous one. He is easy to reach and a pleasure to deal with. I am 100% satisfied with the work he did for me.

He had to come back for the final fix because he needed to order some items he doesn't normally carry in his truck. He called when these items were received and we arranged the service date and time.The repair process was done in a very professional manner. He explained what he was doing and why he needed to to it in this manner. He cleaned up after the work was done. He explained how to operate the outlet when he was finished. Customer satisfaction is very high on his priorties.

I had several outlets added to a sun room last year I called Jim Sparks. He and his associate reviewed work that had already been done and the deficiencies identified by the city inspector.....then I got the flu and was sick a month+ I had to postpone the work. Jim graciously accepted the postponement Later, a city representative arrived to advise I had to go before the magistrate if the deficiencies were not corrected by a certain date When I contacted Jim to start the work --he rearranged his schedule to get the work done in time for the city's deadline. I appreciate the great work. I highly recommend Jim Sparks for his analysis, customer service and expertise in these matters.

Service was to correct several areas in the home that were noted on the pre purchase inspection report. They conducted a compelte inspection of the items and over all electrical service and provided a detailed estimate. Cost was well within reason, and service was perfomed quickly, correctly and efficiently, and on budget. I felt that the service and work went well beyond expectations and we were offered a full explanation as to scope of work and reason it was recommended. Questions were answered quickly and professionally. We will maintain Sparks as our electrical service provider and recommend them without question.

need to purchase the heater and then see if there is enough space on the fuse box to handle both the lights and the heater. Still need to figure all this out. The owner was out the same day for the estimate, he was professional and explained everything in detail. He said that it was a major undertaking and that we need not be in a hurry but he would be happy to help. He explained how the lines for the light would be and how he could install the heater. I would definately use them when the time comes to install everything.

They did a really great job. They did the work quickly. They made recommendations for our lights. They also were very professional and courteous.

I called Sparks Electrical and I spoke to Jim the owner to get a estimate on some work I needed done. He came the next day as planned and gave me a fair and reasonable price. As planned he showed up with his employee on time to rewire my pool pump to my circuit breaker and and replace some light switches in a bedroom that also needed to be rewired in the attic. Overall I had a great experience having them perform the work I needed done, Jim and his helper (I forget his name) were very friendly and have pride in what they do, I would definitely recommend them to anybody and I would hire them again if I need anything done with electrical, again thank you Jim for your help.

Great! Jim came out at the time we had agreed upon to survey the items, so that he could provide us with an estimate. Within a couple of days, Jim called back with his estimate and we scheduled the appointment, all free of charge up to this point. Jim arrived as scheduled, and was professional, friendly and quickly resolved all of the issues. I found the original estimate reasonable, however Jim indicated that the call took less time than he had anticipated, so he gave me an additional discount on top of th 10 percent Angie,s List discount. I would highly recommend Sparks Electric and will surely use him again.

Jim came out with another electrician , replaced a bad switch in my fuse box ,then installed 3 new outdoor lights. All was done timely and very professionally at an excellent price.We will definitely use him again.

This was one of the most fantastic experiences I've ever had with a home contracting service provider. We had a host of small issues at our beach condo on Hutchinson Island and called Sparks because of the positive Angie's List reviews. When he arrived, I reviewed each of my issues with him and he swiftly dispatched all of my concerns, teaching me things I didn't know along the way. Garbage disposal issues after not being in the unit for months? Run water for a while, let it come unstuck, then it will be OK. Lights going out intermittently, then coming back on? The thermal fuse is overheating - change the bulbs to ones that generate less heat. And so on. He reviewed lighting replacement options, gave instructions on how to select a replacement ceiling fan for our oddly placed kitchen fan, inspected the electrical panel for any issues, and reviewed our exterior power connection. All of this and then he refused to charge me. Not even a service call for his time. He's definitely earned all of my business. * Note - If you favor Veteran owned businesses, as I do, choose Sparks. In talking, we discovered we were both Veterans. He offers a 10% Veteran discount on top of his Angie's List discount. Amazing guy.

It is very rare for me to give an top rating for "anything" but this is the exception to my rule. Jim gets an A+ for his expertise. He spent time explaining what had to be done and why. I truly appreciated the time he devoted to this project. I would also like to mention Brian, his employee , for the outstanding job he did in completing this project. I will highly recommend Jim - actually I already have!

Spark's service was great. They explained everything and were happy to answer all my questions. (and there were many) The work was finished quickly and everything cleaned up. They provided a detailed receipt and the price was very fair. I will definitely use them again!
