Very polite and punctual. Since you get to speak with Jim directly when you call Spark Electrical, you might have to wait a couple hours for a call back. When you call other companies, it is usually an office manager taking your calls. When you speak directly to the electrician, Jim, he asks all the right questions to prepare for the job to get it done fast and properly. He also checked back with us to ensure all was still working. His pricing is extremely fair, he cares about his customers and takes pride in the quality of his work. What more could you want!

Fantastic! They called when they were on their way and arrived right on time. Very professional and friendly. Did a great job in a timely manner at the right price.

Sparks master electrician/owner (Jim) arrived on time and promptly proceeded to check all the questionable outlets. He checked the voltage readings on each outlets & the breaker, and determined that they were all working well (up to code), and nothing needed to be replaced or fixed. He took the time to explain to us that new outlets have a safety feature which makes a slight popping sound when inserting a plug into it (a child safety blocking internal mechanism). The diagnostic cost was very reasonable, Jim was professional and honest, and I did not have to replace anything that did not need to be replaced. I will definitely use Sparks again and would highly recommend them.

Jim was extremely helpful and gave me lost of solutions and suggestions to the problem. The light fitting was fixed without any problem. I will certainly call on Sparks again in the future!

Sparks was terrific. After we discovered faulty, poorly installed wiring, which almost started a fire, Sparks came out the day after to inspect and give a quote. Jim was up front about the cost, and estimated it to be about $1,100 to $1,500. I was already pleased with the estimate because I thought for sure this was going to be around $8,000. When Jim had to change the date of work, he called promptly. His crew arrived on time and worked so quickly and efficiently that they came in at HALF the estimate. I was floored. The quality of the workmanship is great, they were clean and professional, and most of all they were under estimate. While I certainly don't want to deal with an electrical problem in my house again, I will not hesitate to call Sparks, and neither should anyone considering them.

We will definitely use Jim and his team again! They were professional and responsive. They scheduled the appointment in a timely manner, quickly checked out the system and ensured us everything was OK with the electric. The price can't be beat. Now I'm off to do battle with the appliance company. :-)

The day started off as it should with the technician, Anton, showing up to the job, well before the appointed time of 9:00AM and we promptly discussed the details of what I needed to have done. I was reassured by the confidence and knowledge that the technician exhibited from the get go. That being said he performed the wiring and fan project with enthusiasm. Much to my amazement he consistently attacked each project and completed all of them with excellent results :)

Sparks installed under the counter LED lighting and it is absolutely beautiful!!!! The job was done in a timely manner and the price was right. They have done a few jobs in my house and never disappoints me..

Jim and Anton are excellent, and they did a great job for us. They worked 1-1/2 days on the stereo and tv wiring (complicated installation), and did such a good job that we asked them to come back and install pendant lights over the kitchen island. And, they will be back again next week to install power to run our Motor Home. They are on time, work hard, very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and do a great job. They are both very nice, professional, and we will definitely use them for our future needs. We just moved into our house in Stuart a few weeks ago, and we have had several contractors doing work for us. Jim and Anton are among the best we've used. Highly, highly recommend them!

Jim first came out and did a complete evaluation of the work that needed to be done. Then he was able to give an estimate of the cost. I agreed to have the work done and an appointment was scheduled. On the morning of the appointment, Jim showed up on time and was completely perpared. The work took about an hour longer than expected due to the difficult area and tight space that he had to work in. The work was then completed. He cleaned up. And their was no additional charges even though the job was a little more involved. Jim was very personable, very knowledgeable and very upfront with cost. We have had several electricians in the past for various jobs around our home. We were usually given bad advise, poor work and always over charged. We finally decided to join Angie's List. When we saw Sparks Electric we gave it a try. We are completely satisfied. FINALLY! Estimate was over $1700, all work was performed in basically one day. Guys were on time (actually early), called to confirm the day before, professional, personable, hard workers. Jim and Anton both worked hard to install the smoke detectors in my tricky attic, then corrected the air handler situation (grounding), installed fan dimmers that are much easier to use. Jim suggested a new fan for the kitchen, after trying to fix it (wobbles horribly), measured all of the fans for replacement and gave me recommendations about how to choose one! I'm so busy, that really helped a lot! Installed the new circuit outside and labeled as many breakers as they could. I'm having them back to replace several ceiling fans, it's so nice to finally have a competent electrician! Got a 10% discount for being a member, awesome!

They were very professional. From the start they were clean, friendly and thorough. They checked every outlet & switch. The panel in the garage and the line coming into the house. Made recommendations, were not pushy in any way, realized I have limited funds, would fix what I could myself and hire them when funds become available.

They reworked the panel, added a much needed main circuit breaker, ran the wiring per my needs, and corrected some existing code violations along the way. Before leaving, they went over the use, care, and feeding (lol) of my emergency power.

Anton did an amazing job installing my new light fixtures. I have used Sparks in the past and the job is always done beautifully. As a matter of fact I am having Jim give me a price on under the cabinet LED lighting. Can't wait.

The guys were great. They called before they got there, were on time for the appointment and did a great job. They put the fan exactly where I asked them to, installed a wonderful new type of switch that allows me to control the fan and light on a sliding switch so I don't have to pull the chains to change the fan speed (which is WONDERFUL!) and got my light fixture in the garage working as it should. They were courteous and fast and left everything in great shape. We liked them so much we've asked for quotes on other work we're going to hire them to do soon. Highly recommend this company!

Jim went over the report, found no major problems, even though the air conditioner guys said our breaker box needed costly repairs. Suggested smoke detectors in every room, new dimmer switches, etc. Did not high pressure sell us, took time to look at out concerns, and offer advice. In the attic he found serious issues with our air handler, duct work from these same a/c guys that installed a new system 6 months ago. An independent A/C guy confirmed an hour later.

Anton and Ed were very knowledgeable, worked very hand digging a 75 foot trench and running line under existing concrete driveway. Were very professional and courteous . Jim initially estimated the work and was very helpful in advising as to what must be done. Provided Angie's List 10% discount on labor.

I just joined Angie's List, specifically to find a good electrician because I have had some bad experiences in the past. So I am so pleased to report that I am thrilled to have found Sparks Electric! Anton showed up exactly on time (although a day early) and then spent most of the day with me making sure everything was done to my satisfaction. He is extremely polite and patient, and actually taught me something about the magic of electricity. He worked without taking a break except for a quick trip to the warehouse for parts and another to the convenience store for a cold drink. He explained all of the costs up-front, gave me the necessary information and then allowed me to make the decision when there was a choice to be made. We have an older home so I really appreciated learning about our particular situation and how we could improve safety and efficiency. The owner, Jim, was equally professional. He returned my call promptly and told me what to expect with the service call and labor expenses. He also called the day after my appointment to make sure I was completely satisfied. Having just moved into our home there were many things that needed to be addressed. Anton went through our punch list and corrected each one. The work was done with care, very professionally. I will certainly be calling on them for additional electrical work.

I had experienced some kind of lightning strike that had fried my outside outlet and and landscape transformer. I obtained a new transformer then tried to replace the fried outlet. After I finished, there was now power from my outlet. I contacted Sparks Electrical and arranged for them to evaluate my situation. Anton, was assigned to my project. He called to tell me that he was going to be at my residence in 15 minutes. When Anton arrived I apprised him of the situation and showed him to the affected outlet. He promptly went to work. Once Anton repaired the outlet and installed the transformer he then connected the landscape electrical circuits. Unfortunately the breaker kept tripping again. Anton proceeded to troubleshoot the circuit only to find that the lights had been damaged as well. He recommended that I replace the lights. He then showed me the proper way to hook them up once I had them. Anton was very professional and I felt very comfortable in his ability to fix and troubleshoot the problem. I will definitely use this company again and will readily recommend them to others.

Great job from Anton! He discovered a safety problem I didn't know I had and fixed the problem. I had a question with the bill and Jim explained the entire process and billing done to my satisfaction. I will use them again!
