I called Matt based on recommendations from Angie's list. My dryer had stopped heating and I had been thinking that it was past time to have the vent cleaned. I called, left a message and Matt returned my call within the hour. I told him what the problem was and he informed me that he also cleaned dryer vents. We made an appointment for that same afternoon. He showed up when he said he would, determined that the heating element was no longer working and fixed that as well as cleaned out the dryer vent. He cleaned everything up and my dryer now takes less than half the time than it was taking prior to having the vent cleaned. It was also less money than I had anticipated. Once again, Angie's list has enabled me to find quality service companies. Thank you Angie's list!

I had a problem with my washer. I called Matt after reading the reviews. He called me back 15 minutes later and scheduled an appointment for this morning. He came in, looked at the washer and immediately knew what was wrong. He quoted me the price to replace the lid switch and was finished with the job within 30 minutes. I will definately use him again! He was prompt, professional and courteous. Joining Angie's list was the best thing I ever did! I was ready to sign a contract with a service company and after checking them out on Angie's List discovered they had an "F" rating. Joining saved me more than $400.00!

I was very pleased with the service. They only charged for a service call which was $69. He was punctual, very friendly and helpful. I had another problem for which he told me what the problem was and that he would fix it if I needed him to. It was the garbage disposal and someone else had installed it so he diagnosed the problem based on what I told him. He said it was a simple fix and I should really get the other person to do it. He could have charged me more and he didn't. I would absolutely hire him again.

Called me back within 10 min of leaving a message, Came the next day,exactly on time! Was professional and courteous. As far as I am concerned he is very honest, could have told me I needed a new pump and I would have never known the difference. Was very satisfied and would recomend to my friends and family.

I used him and he was marvelous! He came over to fix my machine. Since it still wasn't working later on, he came back to double check everything even though he was going away the next morning. He double checked to be sure the machine would work and showed me how to use it. I can't say enough good things about him.

In my whole life I've never had such a good experience. The technician was so approachable. He gave me all my options, told me exactly what was the problem and told me which appliance to buy so I can avoid that problem. The price was right on. I will absolutely call them back if I need their service again.

. The service went very well, I liked him a lot. He gave me a quote and there were no surprises. He is exactly like what I read about him. I thought he was very expensive, but then what do I know. I need to use the dishwasher, and I didn’t call anybody else. I just called him, I dint get to compare him to other shops. Quality is very good.

Arrived on time. Quoted reasonable rate for repairs. I decided to repair only the dishwasher. The dishwasher works great now. Instead of repairing the washing machine, I decided to buy a new one. I will use R&B again and will recommend them to my friends.

After reading some Angie's List reviews on R&B Home Appliance Service, I decided to call Matt. True to the reports I read, after I relayed to him what the problem was, he told me what the posible remedies were, and exactly what I would pay according to which scenario played out. He was able to come out within two days, was very punctual, calling me ahead of time to let me know he was on the way. The repair was done quickly and efficiently, and I was charged exactly what I was quoted. I will definitely call R&B Home Appliance Service the next time I need an appliance repair. I have also already referred him to a co-worker.

Came within the time range he specified, diagnosed problem within 5 minutes. Had the dryer completely disassembled in less than 15 minutes. Replaced the worn part(s) and vacumed the entire dryer and laundry room where the dryer is located. Had the machine back in working order and was out the door in exactly one hour. Matt is an amiable guy, takes the time to explain the problem(s) encountered, and does the work quickly and professionally.

I was referred to Matt from R&B by Ron Taylor, who also has a high Angie's List rating. Ron could've done the job but felt Matt was more an expert with my machine. R&B is also a BBB member & has an A+ rating. Matt listened to my description of what was wrong--that my spin cycle had stopped working & my "on" light stayed on after the unit shut off, & would not turn off until I opened the door--& offered two possibilities and the repair price of each, and told me how to diagnose which possibility was the probable one. Matt was very good about scheduling, & worked around mine. He also showed up well within the window he gave me. When he got here, he had me look on while he did the diagnosis & showed me exactly what was wrong--my door lock mechanism broke & that eventually burned out my computer board. It seemed to me that if that were the case, it would've happened instantly--one time the spin cycle would work, & the next time it wouldn't. Matt confirmed that ths should be correct, however, my spin cycle worked sporadically for several months until giving out, which made me suspect more was wrong then just the door lock & computer card. When he finished, Matt tested the spin cycle & it worked perfectly. He almost left but decided to test it again & sure enough, it started to act up. The motor was indeed broken. He was very conscientious about the increased repair cost, but the other option would be to buy a new washer. I had him fix it & at $612 I had essentially a brand new washer at only a little more than half the price of a truly new one. Matt's awareness to re-test the spin cycle saved me from another service call & a lot of frustration. He was professional, communicative, punctual, & made sure I knew everything up-front. Even though it was an expensive repair, given the amount of work I needed done, I think the price was very fair. Matt lived up to Ron Taylor's recommendation.

Matt came out & gave an estimate on both items. The oven part had to be ordered & he made a repair on the icemaker on his first visit. The icemaker had been an issue for years. A couple of service calls had already been made under warranty & the last company that came out made sort of a sloppy temporary fix. Working outside in S. Florida, ice is a major priority for me. Unfortunately there was a problem with the initial fix, but Matt repaired it successfully on his his second call & well as installing the new control unit on the range. Matt was very professional compared to other people that have come out in the past, and blissfully I now have all the ice I can use.

The problem was indeed a specialty item switch. But after checking with several suppliers, Matt found that the part is backordered for several months (i heard him on the phone, so I could tell his report was real), so he wasn't able to fix the problem during this visit, but said he will order the part and keep me updated if he could find the part through another supplier. Matt was very nice and patient and helpful.

I have a Jenn Air Down Draft Range that stopped working. Out of 4 companies I called, including two recommended by the manufacturer, only one followed through. Matt Moore, owner of R& B Home Appliance Service actually showed up when he said he would, diagnosed my problem, got the right part promptly, and came back an installed it when he said he would. He also re-installed the downdraft fan that I had dislodged when I had to move the range to unplug it, and provided a 90 day guarantee on his work.
