Problem was small Matt fixed it i'n short time and only charged for a service call. He was as nice as he was knowledgable.

Great experience. Matt replaced the glass on my oven that "suddenly shattered" according to my tenant. Matt was very personable, very easy to reach and very informative. The job was done perfectly. I will def. be using Matt again!! Thanks!!

My 11 year old GE Fridge/Freezer stopped cooling last Friday. I looked on Angie's List for a local repairperson with good reviews. I called Matt first thing this morning because he fit the criteria - especially regarding his revies, all of which were excellent. He arrived exactly whe he said he would, gave me a coutesy call 30 minutes in advance, and quickly diagnosed and repiared the problem. My appliance is working again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.e re

My clothes washer would not agitate or spin. I called and the said they thought it was the coupler and then they gave me an estimate and it was fixed with the quoted price in about 4 hours from the time I first called them. I read glowing reviews on AL so I called. They came right away and did a great job for less than the estimate. FANTASTIC!

Our clothes dryer's control panel wasn't working, so I joined Angie's list to find a trustworthy repair company. There were several companies listed as "A" rated, but I decided to try R&B Home Appliance Service. I called and left a message, briefly explaining the problem. Matt returned the call in 30 minutes. We scheduled a service call for the next day, Wednesday morning. Matt actually juggled his schedule to accommodate my need for a morning appointment. Matt arrived promptly on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, showed me what had happened and explained what needed to be done. He said he would need to order some parts and gave me a quote. I thought the price was fair, so I told him to order the parts, and we scheduled an appointment for Friday morning for the repair. Again Matt was punctual. The repair took about a half hour. As I was getting ready to pay, Matt explained the price was lower than the original quote because he didn't need to replace one part he thought he might have had to. Now that's integrity! He could have easily and unnecessarily replaced the part and charged me the full amount originally agreed upon, or worse, he could have NOT replaced the part and STILL charged me the full amount and I would have never been the wiser!! Matt was friendly, polite and professional through the entire process. He'll be the one we call whenever we have an appliance problem. Give him a try, you won't be disappointed!

Matt promptly returned my calls, made an appointment at our convenience, called before arriving, was familiar with the model, and pretty much knew what the problem was right off the bat. Prompt, professional, easy-going, cleaned-up after and cost WAY less than a new machine. Will be using him again, and probably soon - my clothes machine is due to go next.

This is the second time I used Matt. He fixed my washer last year, so when I needed the dryer fixed I called him again, He said he would be here between 9:00 and 11:00. He called at 9:30 and said he was on his way. He looked at the dryer and showed me the broken heating coil. He replaced it within minutes. The total amount he charged was $193.00 which is much cheaper than a new dryer!Hopefully I won't need to call him for awhile but if I need anything fixed he is the only one I will call! It is always a pleasure doing business with him!

I called about an issue with my over the range microwave. Matt called back and I told him what was happening. He felt that based on what I told him, and what I paid for the microwave, it probably was not worth fixing. I love that he was not just out to make a service call and pocket the cash. Matt was on time and was quickly able to diagnose the problem with my clothes washer. His total bill was reasonable and included the replacement of the motor coupler as well as the failed clutch. I do not hesitate to highly recommend him.

I called Matt in the morning after I found the freezer on my side-by-side was not working. I left a message and he called me back promptly. I explained the situation and he could get to my house towards the end of the day. Matt called when he was on his way and proceeded to diagnose the issue (bad heater element as suspected) and fixed it. This included defrosting the frozen cooling coils which he did without making a mess. He also replaced the filter and checked to make sure there were no loose connections. Matt did an excellent job and was very efficient. Thanks Matt!

I kind of pointed out the leak to him so it wasn't like he had to do a lot of testing to find it so I think the price should have been lower. I possibly would use them in the future.

He did a good job. I was very pleased. He came and looked at it, got a part, and came back two days later to fix it. It is working fine now. He was very friendly. The price was what I expected.

When I called he asked me what was wrong and I said the most important thing was to get my ice maker repaired but that I was also having issues when I changed the filter water would shoot out all over. He said if I wanted the filter system repaired he would have to get the part so did I want to wait until he had the part to do both repairs so it was only one service call. He called me back within an hour and told me the cost of the part and when it would be in so we scheduled his visit and I only had to wait a few days. He came exactly at the time he said. He replaced both parts quickly and explained to me what was wrong with them. The cost was exactly what he told me ahead of time. Great Work and very pleasant!

Matt was prompt and professional. Matt took the time to read the instructions as it was not a model that he was familiar with. This impressed me. Sometimes installers are too proud too admit that they do not know or are unsure of. Matt obviously wanted to do it right the first time. The job took much longer than he expected due to the AquaStop water supply unit; the power line with it's own junction box included; and the unique 3 piece toe panel. I know that Matt had become very frustrated when it took many more hours than he had expected. His phone was ringing and he had to stop and call the next client to inform them of the delay which was courteous and professional. I told Matt that in all fairness I felt compelled to give him some additional money to cover this unexpected issues which were due to th e uniqueness of this model. Truly not the typical dishwasher install. He replied that he could not rightly ask me for more since he had given me a quote over the phone but that if I offered he certainly would not refuse. I wanted to and did give him more than the quote. Rather than rush through the remainder of the job Matt still took the time to read the install instructions and do it correctly. I admired that. He commented that there is no free education. You either spend time in the classroom or you spend time on the job learning. Either way there is a cost to learn new things. Bottom line I was very pleased and would not hesitate to use Matt in the future and to recommend him to my friends and family.

Based on Angie's List reports, I called R & B in desperation when my refrigerator started making a grinding noise and stopped cooling. I had previously called Kenmore for service, and learned that I'd have to wait days to get a service man out to evaluate. I left a message on R & B's line, and was pleasantly surprised to get a call-back within 5 minutes. I was even more pleasantly surprised when Matt recognized my refrigerator model, was able to diagnose the issue (compressor failing), and even knew the price of a new compressor off the top of his head. -- Matt even knew where the compressor was made -- confirmed by "Made in Brazil" stamp on the unit itself. Based on Matt's advice, I was able to make the decision to replace rather than repair. He even gave me some insight on current refrigerator brands worth considering. I called Matt a second time after ordering a refrigerator which would arrive in a week, with a loaner to arrive in 2 days. How to survive until the loaner arrived? I left another message, fully expecting NOT to get a response, as I wouldn't be needing repairs. . I was shocked when Matt returned my call within 5 minutes once again. He advised we had a 50/50 chance that the compressor might restart and run for awhile after it cooled down. Matt was right, the compressor started up again, and had enough life left to last until the loaner arrived. I put Matt's number into my smart phone -- any service person that knowledgeable and that dedicated to customer service is GOLDEN.

I selected R&B due to the high number of positive reviews. While I had to wait a few days for Matt to be in my area, the wait was well worth it. He arrived on time, evaluated the problem, asked me before conducting the repair whether or not I wanted to proceed, and fixed the problem within a hour. The price was well worth it. I would wholeheartedly recommend Matt and R&B for any appliance repair.

They were prompt on their request. They fixed everything for me. The refrigerator is working fine right now which is good. They did the work exactly so I knew what he was doing. I would use them again in the future.

I made an appointment with Matt. He was prompt and very polite. He tested the spin cycle of our 10 year old washer - which didn't make the clicking noise when he tested it. Matt then looked underneath our machine and discovered oil splattered along the inside. He reported on what the cost to repair would be and advised us not to repair this machine. He also discussed with us what to look for in a new machine.

Called Matt-set apointment. He called ahead. Came on time. Assessed the problem. Fixed it and left. That simple (price was very fair-no trying to upcharge or sell )

The overall experience was how it should be . I am a very satisfied customer . I will not hesitate to call Matt again when the need arises.
