Matt got the model information from me before coming to repair the ice dispenser so he would have the parts if necessaery. He was very punctual and did the repair quickly. Several days later I called because the refrigerator stopped cooling. Matt set up an appointment, showed up timely, and replaced the part necessary. I have great confidence in Matt and highly recommend him. Angies list came through again.

He met my husband and they went over everything he even tried a spare part we had. My husband was very happy with his work and felt he did everything he could before having to order a new motherboard. It was a very expensive part but we went ahead and told him to order it. He ordered the part but found out several days later it was on back order. He gave me the part number so that I could go online to see if I was able to locate part but is was on backorder everywhere I checked even Whirlpool. He was very understanding when I said I would have to go ahead and purchase a new washer. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants an honest repairman.

I called for a washing machine repair. After I explained the noise I was hearing and what I thought the problem was, Matt confirmed the problem and said that it would be too costly to fix. He said I would be able to purchase a new washer for less than the amount of the repair and service. I would certainly recommend using this company; they are knowledgeable and honest.

I called for an appointment. We arranged a time and the provider was supposed to call prior to leaving for my house. He did but my phone was off. I contacted him as soon as I realized what happened. He was very gracious and came anyway. Fixed everything. It was wonderful.

Matt and his assistant arrived and within a few minutes had identified that the cold water valve inside the washer was leaking. He said this was highly unusual as he has not seen a cold water valve go bad, but had experienced it with hot water valves. It took him several minutes to find a vendor for the part, and said it would need to be shipped which could take 3-5 days. We agreed he would come back once the part was in. At the second visit, they were on time, efficient, and had the part replaced within just a few minutes. Matt showed me the old valve and the points where it was leaking. He said I was fortunate that the dripping water had not affected the motor as that would have been much more costly. I would recommend them to others, and would use them again.

I called Matt on Monday morning after the sensor on my two year old washer went out. Matt answered my call within two hours and he was able to come out on my only day off during the week. Matt showed up on time. We dressed professionally for his trade. He not only knew about our washer, but he was an encyclopedia of washers. He knew dates, and models. It was amazing. One thing that really impressed me; Matt brought along a young man who he was training. The trainee was making some mistakes, which of course happens, but Matt was so calm and so kind in his training, that I know he is going to have a great employee and give this person a skill that will help him make a good living for years to come. This company has over 100 A reviews. I can really see why. We will recommend and use this company again.

Contacted Matt Moore of R and B Home Appliance Service for my broken washing machine and he called back within an hour. I explained the problem and he new right away that it could only be one of two things which would cost cha-ching...or cha-ching-ching. He also advised not putting that kind of money into a machine the age of mine. All this good free advice knowing he was losing business. So at a cost to him of business, but getting lots of good will from me...Matt advised from integrity, not from his wallet. I would recommend him to anyone interested in working with an honest and very knowledgeable appliance repair man. Thanks, Matt! I will for sure contact you when my next appliance crashes.

I had a tenant in a rental house call and say the refrigerator was not working so I looked through the reviews at Angie's List and called R & B Home Appliance. I left a message and was called back within about 10 minutes and had my appointment. They arrived right on time (even before I got there) and figured out the problem right away. Being a contractor myself, I know that time is money and I liked how efficiently Matt tracked down the correct part with his phone and tablet. He has a large inventory of parts in his truck and quickly crossed checked to see if they could work but no luck. He found one about 10 miles away and I thought he was going to have to reschedule with me for another time, but he said he would go and get it and finished the job. Matt and his technician were very pleasant and knowledgeable and the lady renting from me felt very comfortable with him and I did not have to stay and wait. Matt made the invoice before he left to get the part, I happily paid it, and then I went on to work so I could make some money. Now that I have met Matt, when a tenant calls with an appliance problem, I will simply give him my tenants phone number and they can schedule together making my life easier which is what Angie's List is all about.

When I called about a noise in the freezer, they came out and diagnosed the problem with the broken ice maker. It was replaced as necessry and the refrigerator "guts" cleaned. When the noise persisted I called back. They returned to make the repair which really required replacing a fan motor. I was not charged a second house call charge or even a labor charge because theyd had to return. I paid only for the part. Additionally they gave the name and number of a parts store that could help me get a replacment part for another appliance. They were very helpful and professional. I highly recommmend.

These guys were fantastic. They showed up on time, checked the dryer vent on the roof to make sure it was clear, and then went to work on the dryer. It turned out it was a faulty latch, which they had the part for, and got the appliance working perfectly again in short. order. They were courteous and professional and most of all trustworthy. I will use them for all my future appliance repair needs.

Everything was great with R and B. Matt, the owner, answered my call and set up appointment. He arrived at rental unit on time and examined washer before I even got there. It was an easy diagnosis for him and unfortunately for me, too expensive to fix. Matt called in to his office to verify parts and labor , etc to ensure he was accurate in his assessment. The cost to repair the washer was close to the price of a new one. He and his partner were very professional, quick and accurate in their job. Would definitely recommend them for appliance repair. Matt even recommended some brands he has had good luck with for my new purchase. Will definitiely call them to clean out my dryer vent.

I called 3 appliance repair companies for quotes to fix my washer. (My brother, an appliance repairman in another state, did a diagnosis for me) All three companies were in basically the same price range, R&B was in the middle. I choose R&B because Matt verified my diagnosis by asking some basic questions and then quoted me a price. I got the feeling from the others they wanted to come out, do a diagnosis, then order parts and come back, requiring 2 visits. Matt arrived on time and went right to work. He did a quick verification of the problem, switched out the valve (that he had with him), tested the machine and done. The price he quoted was the price he charged (minus $10.00 Angie s coupon - yeah!). He reminded me that he stands behind his work and if there was any problem to call him, handed me his phone number and that was it. Done, except for the laundry that I have to do now.

I had noticed that my refrigerator fan was running constantly. I also noticed that the temperature was fluctuating. I checked the coils and they were full of dust. I vacuumed them off and then blew air through them with an air compressor so they looked like new. The refrigerator continued to run. It was Friday and we were having company over so I wanted to be sure there were not going to be any issues. I called a repair company we had used successfully before and they sent someone out right away. They visually checked the compressor and refrigerator and said that everything was going to be fine and said to call them if things didn't straighten out in a day or two (service call was $65). Monday comes around and the temperature is fine, but the fan is still running. I contact the company again and they call me back and inform me that if they come out and nothing is wrong that I will be charged another $65. I reached out to R & B Home Appliance Service and leave a message. Matt calls me back an hour or so later and is a wealth of information. I explained to him what I did, what the other company did, he asked me to check a couple of things and then provided a complete explanation of what was happening and what they would do if they needed to come out. What he told me me made sense and sure enough a couple of days later the refrigerator is acting normal again. I will definitely be calling them the next time we have an appliance issue as they take the time to tell you what is going on and why!

Great - known Matt for years - he always gets to me when I need him. He doesn't try to fix something that shouldn't be fixed. Knowledgeable about what product would work best for our family. Extremely neat & clean. On time. Great Guy - I would marry him we weren't both married!

They were very professional and friendly. He even gave me the model number from the back of the washer so I could order a replacement knob. He would have replaced the knob but did not have one on the truck. It is an older washer. He went above and beyond. Very impressed

I accepted R&B advice to replace dryer. R&B repairs equipment but does not sell appliances. R&B made no money from this transaction.

This was a major repair on our Kenmore HE dryer. I paid a $75 fee for another company to come out and diagnose the problem, but the technician said he would have to take the dryer to the shop to repair it. That didn't make sense to me. And I had to follow up for a quotation of the cost. It was too high, so looked for another option, and fortunately ended up calling R&B. The first company was highly rated on Angie's list, by the way, located near my home in Boynton Beach, but I decided to eat the $75 rather than use them. From the first time I called, Matt was very helpful, providing advice and a possible fix on the phone. We ended up having him come to our home, where he diagnosed the problem, ordered the new motor, and came back to install it. No hauling the dryer to a shop, banging it up on the way, installing parts of dubious origin and maybe used. The parts that Matt used were clearly OEM, new in the box. During the job, he accidentally dropped the dryer's panel, breaking its ribbon connector. I didn't know this until he told me. He assumed full responsibility for that, and replaced the panel. I'm sorry to say, that my experience is that other technicians would have told me it was already broken, to avoid having to pay for their mistake. That's my impression of the state of affairs here. Matt was professional, pleasant, and reliable. His trainee was polite, already appeared knowledgeable, and was clearly eager to learn. He is lucky to have Matt as his teacher. Matt is the type of person you always hope to get when you have something go wrong with appliances, plumbing, roofs, etc. Unfortunately, they seem to be a rarity.

Matt was very knowledgeable and found and corrected the problem in a short time frame. I believed the price to be reasonable. I would call them again.

Have been using Matt of R & B Home appliance service for YEARS - love him. He always shows up when he says he is going to be there and is honest about choosing cost to fix vs replacing. Pricing is more than fair. Last used him to service 17 year old maytag. He tried to get parts that aren't made anymore, but ended up purchasing new. He even gave me his opinion on new choice! Haven't needed him lately b/c he does such an awesome job but always know that he is there when we need him. He is very clean, does not leave any mess behind and just a pleasure to do business with. Shout out to you Matt - thanks for doing such an awesome job!

They were on time both times they came to my home. Very professional and courteous and even stated that I would be better getting a new dishwasher than fixing the one I had. I always prefer honesty when dealing with a company and they were wonderful.

They were really excellent. They showed up very promptly. They knew what they were doing. I needed a replacement part which I got very quickly. He came back the same day even though it was pouring rain out and got it installed and everything was perfect.
