Excellent service.

I was getting ready to sell my condo and had a problem with the turn off valve in the shower. All of his employees are very cordial and will come out to your residence or attempt to help you do the work yourself. He offered to show me how to fix the turn off valve. I got half way through the job and had a little problem, so I called and he walked me through spending 10-15 minutes showing me how to complete the job. I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

,Arrived on time, explained the process, answered my many questions, explained the product warranty & why he uses this particular product. Left the area very clean.

I called them with a problem that I was having with my toilets flushing. He directed me to call the city and have them check my mini grinder sysetm . It ended up to be that as my problem.

this is the first plumber out of three that actually knew what the problem was and how to fix it. I highly recommend bill homberger with johns plumbing.

It went very well. He did both bathrooms. He was very very pleasant. He was a hard worker. He was punctual. The price was fair. Everything was all neat and tidy when he left.

Please see above. It Says it all. Walt installed all face fronts for our shower, 5 jobs in all. Shower head and arm, shower handle, face front plate and cartridge, shower faucet, overflow, and drain along with all parts and sleeves needed to complete the look. Walt was willing to use our parts along with theirs including a face front plate that they could have charged us nearly twice what I found a substitute for. In addition he caulked all areas including a space where my round face front plate did not quite fit the square cut-out. He knew when to use heat to loosen up a tight thread. and I know enough to know he was spot on. His second job was to put in our supplied lavatory faucet and handles along with caulking to the basin. He supplied his own supply tubes and explained why they were much better quality than our deteriorated and moldy ones were. He then returned to the first job and inspected the water supply to the shower and helped determine that the serious collection of water on our slab under our tub was as a result of the original leak and failure of our system as opposed to an additional job(as I feared) that might require redoing all of the drain plumbing or worse yet a new tub and/or waste line replacement to the sewer. All along the line as he worked, he was helpful, suggestive and very knowledgeable. This can only happen from some one with years of experience and knowledge to draw on. ABOVE ALL HE STUCK TO THE AGREED PRICE FROM HIS BOSS EVEN THOUGH THE LABOR WAS FIGURED OVER THE PHONE USING EMAILED PICTURES OF THE ORIGINAL CONDITION. It could have cost more but was far below the UNION LABOR cost offered by a competing company.

Water Heater: hard job for one man to do by himself. He was delayed in coming but they called and explained why. Job was completed and now works fine

Everything worked out and we saved money by doing it ourselves.

I removed an old Moen faucet but was unable to fix the lines as the lines and fittings were different. After hours of messing with it, I called Bill and asked him to come over. Within 5-10 minutes the job was done.

Ken is excellent. He did a terrific job installing the toilet. He was prompt and explained everything he did. We are very happy.

I had received an estimate from another plumbing company and thought it was outrageously high ($179) to change out one threaded valve that feeds the washing machine hose. It looked like a fairly simple job to me, with no soldering or cutting of pipes involved. I called Johns Plumbing after reading the recommendations on Angies List and they gave me a VERY FAIR ($95) price quote over the phone. Ken arrived as scheduled and quickly assessed the situation and got to work. He explained every detail of the job to me. At first I was only going to have one valve that was frozen changed out, but he told me that it wouldn't cost a penny more to do them both, and he would be happy to replace my hoses for me too (I had the parts already). He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable and I will not hesitate to use them for all my future plumbing needs and highly recommend them to anyone needing an experienced and very reasonably priced plumber! When I called and spoke to Bill on Friday, he gave me heads up on what the worst case scenario would be which I appreciated so it wouldn't be a surprise expense. He showed up as promised Monday and luckily washers were all we needed. We are new to the area and have not had to deal with home repairs etc. for many years so we appreciated all his helpful information.

Owner arrived even earlier than promised. Saw the leak. Knew it wasthe disposal.Replaced it and cleaned up.All done quickly and efficiently.

Called on a Friday and got a callback Monday morning that the plumber was on the way. Showed up in a timely manner, did great work and left. The price was right and the service was awesome!

What a find? Bill, Ken and Wendy have been wonderful to work with. They are a wealth of information in general. The $ estimate was "on the money" as well as how long it would take them to complete the job. They arrived when they said they would. I met with Wendy today back at the office and she helped me select kits to replace pitted faucet handles in our shower and tubs. They made sure I understood it would be easy to do myself, but I chose to have them do the installation. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and was glad someone chose to recommend them to me!

They were knowledgeable. They were helpful. I am extremely satisfied.

Everything went very well. Since the name of the company is John's "Do It Yourself" Plumbing, they give you the opportunity to buy the part from them and they will tell you what to do, instead of paying for a service call, which would have saved me $95. I chose to have the plumber come out in case I ran into difficulty. He was very helpful and explanitory and showed me everything he was doing in case I wanted to do it myself the next time.

They were very reliable. They called and arrived when they said they would. They did a great job.
