Face of Wood Flooring

The installer and his assistant were excellent, repairing a damaged area of hardwood flooring skillfully, efficiently, and neatly. Communication could have been better, as it took two days to nail down an appointment — despite my open schedule — and the installers were significantly late (arriving at 1:40 P.M. for a 10-11 A.M. appointment) without any form of notice. Overall, I am happy with the work done and would hire them again if the need arose.

My very humble opinion and I feel believe the following: worst I ever used. L@@K AT PHOTOS have tons more proof for litigation, license complaints, Governor, AOG, FTC etc! He gave me BAIT AND SWITCH deceptive business practices like price $2985 and inflated price 152% to $4556.56 after ripped up flooring. Why they offered me $$2500 to remove the reviews first if they did nothing wrong? I complained IMMEDIATELY about the poor installation and was told “ i'll be out of town and be back Wednesday ill call to fix this!” and they never did. I have construction experience. CREAKING/CRAKING NOISES. Big damaged moldings, caulked everywhere cover up. Didn't use stair tread measurer. suppliers its in stock and I knew the price but he said they don’t have it as he wanted to sell me his inflated priced flooring. He aggressively said if I didn’t pay he's coming over. which he did. Underlayment switched to cheaper. Its like walking on egg shells and the list goes on. Ruined my furniture.

This is a very disreputable company. The company made a floor repair at my home that failed miserably with severe cupping and loss of adhesion. They company failed to honor and show up for the repairs and lied cheated and stole from me. I am having to procure another company to fix the disaster they left. Stay away. They are not honorable. The initial installation at $900.00 took 15 minutes to repair. There was little preparation and craftsmanship thus the failure. Kirk von Stein

Several years ago I hired Face of Wood to install hardwood floors in two bedrooms in my home. The quality of the products and their personalized service was so impressive I decided to have them install luxury vinyl in a condo that I have been renovating. Once again, everything was outstanding. The floors look great, they installed it in less time that they had told me in would take and the pricing was very fair. Also, any time I called Raphael or Daniel they were totally accessible. I had shopped at Dolphin and Floor and Decor, but I would highly recommend Face of Wood over them or any huge chain.

Overall, the team did a good job removing the tiles and replacing them with new wood floors to match the rest of the house. They performed part of the job while we were out of town and communicated well to gain access to the home and secured it upon leaving. They cleaned up as best they could, even though the removal of the tile caused dust build-up within the cabinets and drawers. However, the repair work was not as detailed and clean as expected. They left glue residue on the pieces of repaired woods which, one year later, does not come off after repeated cleaning.

We were replacing a huge amount of tile and old carpet in our home. Face of Wood was the medium bid but we had a very poor impression of the low bid person. He seemed unprofessional and seemed to constantly say "no problem" without really even looking at what we were looking for. So we hired Face of Wood. From the very beginning, they were great to work with and very patient with us as we went through wood selection and working with us on the budget. They finished today and did an outstanding job. This is the 3rd home we've installed wood floors in and by far the best. Wood floors are all the same right? What makes them different? It's the small details. Some examples, we used variable width planks and they spaced them very well. The baseboards were put back in great shape. The closets had built in shelving and they were able to actually remove portions to install the flooring underneath instead of a bunch of cuts. That is all good and what you should expect from any quality installer. What makes them great is their ability to go above and beyond. We had 3 very large entertainment centers/built-ins that we wanted removed. I spent weeks trying to find someone to haul them off. Face of Wood came to the rescue and arranged to have it all removed at no additional cost. Our garage door was mis-aligned and would stick shut. They fixed the door on their own. There was a small dent in one of the wood planks that I was hesitant to even mention. After a brief mention, they replaced the plank that same day and never made me feel like I was being too nit-picky. Will definitely use them for all our wood flooring needs. While working on floors, we also discovered they do kitchens with the subdivision Face of Kitchen. We hired them for a kitchen remodel as well. That project is still in progress but so far, we are getting the same level of professionalism and quality work.

Everything went great! The workers were very efficient. I’m in love with my new floors! I would deff hire again and recommend to anyone I know.

Everybody that we worked with were extremely professional and very helpful from the initial call and through completion of the project. Everybody working in our house were very mindful of our 1 year old twins and did their best to make sure there was at least one room not being worker on for them to stay in. Their attention to detail was outstanding, making sure there were no gaps or uneven spaces in the flooring they were installing. They cleaned as they worked so there was very little cleanup when the project was done. There were a few minor issues that came up, but they were easily solved after they clearly explained the issue and gave me a few options on how to work around them. I really appreciated that they have me the ability to make those choices instead of making assumptions on how to handle them. All said and done and 4 months later, my wife and I have no regrets. The floors look great, the workmanship has been solid and we have referred several friends and family that have asked.

The experience was flawless. From the moment we spoke with Rik (the salesman), to the installation and clean up, everything was completed to our satisfaction. The Face of Wood team was professional, polite and arrived on time. I would definitely recommend.

We called Face of Wood on Friday and told them the issue. They sent someone out on Saturday at 9:00 who assessed the situation, fixed it, and was on their way within 30 minutes! There was no charge. We have found this company to not only stand by their work but be very prompt in responding to calls and questions. They know what they are doing!

Project went very well. They were prompt and professional from start to finish. Quality of the work was excellent for a fair price. We couldn't be more pleased with our new floors.

They did great work and on schedule. Minimal problems which were handled properly. Flooring was done well, painting was acceptable. All told, I'd use them again.

They were excellent throughout the entire process. They were very professional, on time, and did an excellent job. They truly wanted to make the customer happy, which is rare to find. I would definitely hire them again. They were also the best price of all the other installers we contacted.

It all went well. Ricardo called me on Saturday to confirm my Monday morning appointment, he said they would be between 8 and 9am. He then called me around 8:10am to explain that he would be late dropping off a worker to another site but that he was sending someone to my house and he'd be there in the timeframe he stated. The worker arrived around 8:45am and began working. He asked a couple of questions but worked diligently by himself until around noon when Ricardo came to assist him. They finished by 2pm and the floor looks amazing! I'm considering replacing the carpet in the other 2 bedrooms and will use Face of Wood once I decide to do so.

Project was done on time and in a very professional manner. A few outstanding issues were corrected quickly and we were very pleased with Face of Wood Flooring and their team of professionals. Would recommended to friends.

Incredible! So professional and great work

Excellent work! Luciano and Ricardo were responsive and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. They were prompt when coming over to measure. They gave me several samples to take home and then more samples until we wound up with exactly what we were looking for. Only two weeks after placing the order, four very nice installers showed up ON TIME and did a magnificent job with the floors and baseboards. I was concerned it might be a challenge because of the shape of the room and the location of the closets and height of the hallway tile. It was no problem for these masters. I would highly recommend Face of Wood Flooring to anyone. In fact I am now going to have them install wood floors in my master bedroom, something I was planning on putting off. Oh, the price was very fair and lower than several other companies' estimates.

The job was done perfectly. From start to finish, I cannot say enough about these people. I called for an estimate and within three hours Kaike arrived right on time. We wanted to cover our existing ceramic floor with new laminate planking. He assured us that would not cause any problems, measured, and gave us a price for installation right on the spot (we supplied the flooring from a supplier whom he recommended). He told us they would be able to install the new flooring within a week. They did just that. The installation team came in (every one of these three gentlemen we polite and extremely good at what they do), moved the furniture, installed the flooring AND left our home clean inside and outside where they did their cutting. I cannot say enough about these people. You will not be sorry if you use them. Our new flooring looks BEAUTIFUL.
