Face of Wood Flooring

Sanded and applied several coats of seal & polished finish to 3 areas of damaged finish on oak wood floors. A vacuum system kept dust to a complete minimum. Would absolutely use this company to refinish floors completely, when the time comes.

After calling Angie's List. Face of Wood Flooring Inc., had a service provider come to my house. He mesured the room. A week later I received an invoice for $558.40. I am no longer interested in this companies services. I thought I paid $ 99.00 for their services.

Installed wood flooring in the bedroom and did an excellent job. I would recommend this company very highly. They left the place in immaculate condition.

Frustrating experience. Got two estimates after contact the company. ($140 after the coupon and $558, all for a small room of 144 SF). I have decided on the $140 extra one. Moving furniture is not included and they will not remove or stain the 1/4 molding. The technician came and walked out because I complained about the ad was deceiving.

I missed by a day the deadline to purchase the provider's Angie's List coupon, but they honored the deal nonetheless. That was very generous, since I had previously gotten an estimate for the work from another provider that was well above the cost of the coupon. The work was done professionally and I am exceptionally pleased with the work that was performed. They performed the work as advertised. I would use Face of Wood Flooring again for the other hardwood floors in my home.

Luciano was great - on time, friendly, and provided excellent value. I wish they did carpet also.

They were very professional and took their time. My wood floor looks like new again. The whole experience was very good. I would recommend them to others interested in getting their wood floors refinished.

I had called Luciano from Face of Wood because I was in desperate need of a professional flooring company to repair work by a previous contractor from Gorilla Flooring, LLC who had begun laying my expensive wood flooring, did it VERY poorly and did not finish the work but took our money and ran. We were left with undone steps and a top floor that was lumpy due to an awful job laying the subfloor, and gaps in the flooring bc the person we had hired really had no idea how to lay wood flooring even though he claimed to be licensed (which he turned out not to be) and had his own flooring company - avoid Lou Rambowski at all costs! So we were left with emptier pockets with nothing to show for it. I found Face of Wood on Angie's List and decided to call. Luciano came the next day to inspect my floor and give me an estimate on repairing and competing the job. Luciano was shocked at the poor workmanship done by the previous so- called contractor and informed me that the whole floor needed to be removed, the subfloor needed to be redone and leveled, and the wood would have to be re-layed. At first I was upset that I had already spent money for nothing and now I would be starting at square one again, but Luciano assured me that the floor would be great when done, that I would be satisfied, and that he would try to avoid me having to order any new wood to repair the damage and he would try to keep the costs down as much as possible. He kept his word completely! The crew showed up promptly at 8:30 am both days. They were meticulous, professional, clean and polite. They finished everything in a day and a half and were a pleasure to work with. I couldn't recommend this company more highly!!! It was the best $2600 that I have spent on remodeling my home thus far. These guys are the real thing. They were knockouts with the service all the way around. They were amazing. They did exactly what they said they would do and they were timely. I gave them the keys to the house and the reason I hired them was because of the reviews that they had on Angie's List. I cannot say enough good things about them. They showed up on time and the office was very easy to work with over the phone and with the billing. This was the easiest experience with a service provider that I have had. Luciano is amazing and he was incredible to work with and Eola in the office is very sweet to work with. The price was very competitive.

Company came out to measure to make sure we ordered proper amount of material. Showed up promptly to do job. Bought vacuum to clean up and the final charges matches the original quote.

We contacted four different flooring companies that have an A rating with Angie's list, and Face Of Wood was the only one willing and able to provide us with exactly what we wanted. Their pricing was very reasonable and they did what it took to make us completely happy with the finished product. Everyone of their workers showed up on time, was polite, professional and a pleasure to work with. And they all did an excellent job. We had expected a huge mess when the floor was sanded and we could not believe how clean everything was! We are so very happy that we chose this company. Thank you Luciano and Marcus. Face of Wood came and gave an estimate on the floors of our newly purchased home. We agreed on the price which included 3 coats of varnish. They came on time at the appointed date and sanded and refinished the old florida pine floors. They were professional and did an excellent job. We also received a discount for being Angie's List customers. The floors look amazing. We would recommend them .

Phoned Friday for a quote to install 165 Sq ft of wood laminate flooring and got a quote over the phone. Agreed on a price. Saturday (today) they arrived at 8:30 am. as planned and completed the job in 2 1/2 hours. Perfect fit and finish. They moved the furniture for me and left the den spotless. From first call to them o finish in less than 24 hours. Very nice installers who were very respectful and caring not to damage anything. Unconditionally recommend this company!

Great experience with Luciano. I seem not to have gotten the 10% Angie's List discount, but his pricing was very fair, and the workmanship of his installers was superb. I would recommend Face of Wood to anyone, and will use them again. Polite, professional, experienced, and truly master craftsmen.

They took all the carpets out and they cleaned it up and it was done very well. They were very good and did everything they said they were going to do and in the time they said they were going to do it. Everything came out beautiful.

The job was in a 3 story townhouse in Ft. Lauderedale. Water from the 3rd floor a/c flowed on to the wood floor landing and down the steps. The wood flooring on the landing warped and was stained. There was also damage on three flights of stairs and the other landings. They were not the least expensive, but one of the owners came out to inspect the work and provide an estimate. I am a general contractor with 40+ years of experience in new residential and commercial construction and remodeling, and based on his comments during the inspection he displayed knowledge and professionalism I awarded them the work. The work was supervised by Marcus, the other partner and like all jobs some minor items needed to be addressed and were were immediately completed. The quality of the work, considering the damage was excellent. The townhouse was up for sale and the realtor (who saw the floors before the repairs) and buyers all raved that the floors looked brand new. The property sold within in weeks after their work and above the asking price. I highly recomend this company to those who want a truly professional group. By the way, the other company's price was approximately $500+ less, but the person they sent to inspect and provide the estimate was not really knowledgable and I did not feel he nor his company would provide the hands on service provided by Luciono and Marcus.

good, stairs came out ok, living room was good.

From the first estimate (when Marcus came to our home and took his time providing the explanation of his recommended service ) to completion of the job, everything went smoothly. We were most impressed with this vendor (one of four we interviewed for the job) and as a result chose to go with them rather than a smaller vendor who tried to give us a cheaper estimate to win the business . Face of Wood's estimate was fair and the quality of the work was so high we would highly recommend them and will be using them to refinish the rest of the floors in our home.

It went very good they were fast and efficient they keep cleaning up all the time they were here they moved a lot of items that I failed to move they did it without saying anything about it they just moved along without stopping until the job was completed, I was impress with all they did. I would recommend them to anybody that's looking to do any flooring in there home's or office.

From start to finish, they did a great job. Luciano came out to provide a quote and was really helpful in selecting the materials. He provided a very competitive quote and was great in answering all of my questions. The price of the materials increased but he was able to get me the original price. When they came to install the flooring, five guys came out and were able to finish all but the transition moldings in one day. They came back out to finish the moldings yesterday and it looks great.

I called the company and set up an appointment. I also called another company on Angie's List to get another estimate. The person from that company was just a salesman. This company Estimator, who also did the refinishing, called and showed up for the appointment at exactly the scheduled time. He was extremely courteous and throughly explained the procedure for the refinishing. My decision to select this company was based on the promptness of the estimator and the fact that he was going to be the person to do the refinishing. He said that he has 10 years of experience with this work. Also, the price was very reasonable. The job was completed on time and is a beautiful job. I highly recommend this company.

Arrived in the morning and a two man crew literally worked non-stop until the afternoon and got the job done in one day. They literally did not even stop to take a lunch break or smoke break. I was impressed. Quality of their work was great. The two workers were friendly and courteous. Owner is responsive and friendly. I got quotes from several flooring installers rated highly on Angies List, but these guys beat all the other estimates and delivered with the work they performed. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know and use them again..
