Encompass Brick Pavers

Jim advised that the pavers were no longer being manufactured this thin. He would have to replace the broken and uneven brick with the thicker pavers. Would be difficult to make them even with the current thin pavers but he would get me an estimate for this and also for a complete new patio area. I did say that the board would probably not go for a complete replacement at this time but go ahead with both patch work and total re-due estimates. He said that he would get me an estimate by Wed (in two days). I called him on Wed , left a message. No response. Left another message a few days later. Nothing. Still nothing as of today Fri Oct 16th. I was surprised as he seemed like a professional guy. Too bad. We are going with another company that you also listed as A. I gave an A for punctuality only because when he came out to initially see the job, he was on time. Gave a C on professionalism as I feel that it is totally unprofessional to not follow up or respond. When I was in national sales, I would have gotten an F in professionalism if I ignored a prospect. Below: You have "Address where work was performed" No option for "work not performed" so I had to select option #1 which is not accurate.

The next day I received a phone call from James. I'm thinking great this company is very quick. Instead he basically said he could not do the job, but he has a guy that does his odds and ends and he would be willing to do my job. Then he tried to talk me into a different cheaper solution using one big tile instead of pavers. I don't know if my job was to small or he thought it would be to expensive or he couldn't make a profit. I do not know I never received an estimate to make my decision. To me these guys were just a waste of my time. I will find somebody to do the job the way I would like it done at whatever cost.

We contacted this provider to pull up sections of our paver patio that had sunk below the coping of the pool and come loose. Jim, the owner, came out, and voluntarily provided his insurance information, license, photographs of past work, and recommendation letters from other customers. He gave us a fairly reasonable estimate (in comparison to another we had received for the same work). He was able to complete our job in about a week from our original meeting, and supervised the job himself. His workers did a great job, and were able to complete it much faster than we had anticipated. He explained every step of what the job entailed, and made sure afterward that we were satisfied with the work. We had originally only asked his company to do the paver patio but after seeing the quality of the work, asked him to repair a small section of driveway too. We are very pleased with the outcome and would recommend this company as being very straightforward, honest, and quality.

Encompass Brick Pavers are knowledgeable and they came out promptly. I would possibly hire them in the future.

The owner is the one who answers the calls and gives the estimates. He is also there the day of the job to make sure that the customer is happy with the work and to assist with any issues or questions. They arrived on time and worked very quickly. The work was much more intensive than I had imagined, it was interesting to watch them lift the tiles, re-sand and re-set. They were finished in half the time I had expected and were very respectful of my property. They were hard workers and the owner was always quick to respond to my phone calls. I would definitely use them again if I had another repair or wanted to add any additional brick patios.
