Their sales person was wonderful. She was very informative and answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable with my choice in selecting their company. I was told the project would take about a week to complete once started and a supervisor would be onsite. They were also the lowest bid for my project. The communication was far below what I expected. I was initially told the project would most likely begin in 3 weeks (1 1/2 weeks for permits and another 1 1/2 weeks for scheduling) which would have been 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. The tear off of my roof started 2 months later on December 17, 8 weeks after I signed the contract. I get that this is a busy time of year, but I had to call several times to find out when they would be coming (turns out the permit was signed on 11/12 but that was never communicated to me). It took less than 2 days to patch the leak, remove the old roof and put down the weatherproof underlayment. On the third day, when no one showed up, I called to find out the status. I was told, "They were done" and that they would now order the metal based on measurements taken at the time of removing the old roof. This process I was told takes a week to 10 days but because of the holidays, it would most likely be the first of January. Not what I was expecting based on my initial conversations with the sales person's comment of the process taking about a week, I thought she meant a consecutive 5 - 7 days... The delay turned out to be a blessing because during this delay we had significant rain and it became apparent that the repair of the initial leak was not adequate. I called the company and someone came out later that day and put another patch on the roof. He seemed sincere in wanting to make sure it was done right. I must clarify that the architectural design of my roof made patching a challenge and prior roofers stated they would not warrantee their work to repair this leak. Because they needed to access the roof from the attic to repair the rotted wood, they told me they would call me before coming out to fix it to make sure I would be home. Surprise, they showed up one morning while I was in the shower because no one had called me to let me know they would be coming that day. They started putting the metal on the roof and then there was more rain, and again, another leak! When the crew showed up I tried to communicate about the leak but they did not understand me (they spoke limited English) so I asked for the supervisor or boss. Turns out the supervisor, does NOT show up on the job site, but is available by phone if the crew needs him. I called the office and the supervisor did come and speak with me and explained how they would fix the new issue. My roof is now complete and it looks great. I did have to call the office to get someone to come pick up the extra metal sitting in my driveway for 5 days. I don't think was communicated back to the office by the workers who told me someone would be there the next morning to pick it up after they finished the job. It's too soon to tell if the leaking problems are permanently fixed, but let's hope so! I struggled with writing this review as I do think they are a good company and I think I would feel better about recommending them to my friends if they had communicated better with me so that I my expectations were consistent with their practice. In summary: Sales and marketing were excellent, communication was very poor and service/performance was decent.

We had them out about 2 months ago and also last week. They repaired some leaks on my roof. This was done on a one story home. So far everything is good. The first time 3 guys came out and the second time 2 guys came out. They worked until the job was completed.

I was pleased with the outcome of the service. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable in their field. They were also very neat, clean and punctual. I would recommend this company to others.

These guys are fantastic. We called for an estimate which was accomplished in a couple of days. The same day they looked at our roof we recieved a written estimate via e-mail. One we decided to go with Code Red we were given a "we will start no later than" date which they beat by 3-4 days. We were then advised that the repair process needed about 5-days for the material to dry/cure and they promptly returned the following week to finish the job. They ran water all around the repair to insure the leak was stopped and made a few additional adjustments until it was totally sealed and passed the water test a final time. The work teams always showed up in Code Red box truck with all the needed tools and materials for the job. Their pricing was a little higher than another roofer's quote but the work, responsiveness, punctuality makes them the best choice for getting repairs you can have confidence in.

Firm actually arrived on an earlier day than anticipated as they had completed a job nearby. They were aware that more rain was imminent, so they suggested they do the work then so as to protect us from further leak damage. They got right to work, and completed the job before rain commenced. We were totally pleased with their work and are happy to report we have not experienced any further leak damage.

Good price and service. Quality of repairs very good. Happy customer...no complaints at all. Tom even left job to go to hardware store to get a better paint match on the vent. attention to detail , even with the small things makes a big difference.

They had excellent service and follow up. They did everything they said they were going to do. Any problems that arose they were quick to fix them. They have a very honest integrity.

Representative should up the day I called and provided an estimate. Representative was knowledge and professional, I accepted the bid and work was done in timely and professional fashion.

They’re a great company to work with and you can trust them to do the right thing. We received 3 quotes and Code Red was very close to the lowest estimate but not the lowest. We selected them because of the detailed information they provided, the follow through ever step of the way and genuine professional work ethic. The owner, Doug Roe, took extra time with us during our roof selection process. We searched and viewed materials at their facility and Doug brought us to homes he had previously roofed so we could see his work and select the color and style roof we wanted. It took us extra time before we decided on metal or tile and then the color. Doug and his team were patient and responsive while we made our decision. They offered us several options for roofs, some were thousands less in cost, with no pressure of selecting. They provided materials and information to help us make our final decision. Doug responded to every phone call and email quickly as did his office team. Once we signed the contract the work was started about 3 weeks later – just as we had been told. The job took about 3 weeks to complete. It was a tough job as their first team worked through one of the hottest weeks of the year when the day time temperatures reached into the mid and upper 90’s with the heat index over 100*. I heard no complaints from the roofers as they spent a week during these grueling hot days tearing off old tiles cemented to our roof. They did their best to protect our house and surroundings from damage by placing plywood and tarps out to cover our walkways, A/C units, shrubs and more. They also covered unprotected areas of our roof with tarps to insure rain would not enter our home. The first team worked through the tear-off process, repaired/replaced damaged plywood and installed the underlayment. Their quote included a limited amount of replacement plywood which I had expected would not be enough but to my delight it was – so there was no extra fee charged to us for this work. Once they completed this portion of the work the tile started to arrive. We received 27 pallets of tile – that was carefully moved to our roof in small bundles in preparation of their installation team. The installation team arrived a few days later to start the install. Not as hot as the first week but still hot days to be working on a roof. Step by step the installation took place. Their team was here everyday stopping only when the rain prevented them from working, even then, they often waited for the rain to stop so they could return to the roof. As they finished the install any new tiles that were damaged or cracked were replaced before they left. They checked around the house for loose debris, washed down the new roof and cleaned our walkways and pool deck. They had also covered our entire pool to help prevent anything falling into the pool. A supervisor would come out at least once each day and if I had any concerns or questions – with just a quick phone call or email to their office I would have an answer often within minutes and often Doug or a supervisor would come to the site. Code Red Roofers is about as good as you can hope and expect from a company. It was a pleasure to work with them including Donna and Becky who seemed to take care of office matters and scheduling. I have a new respect for tile roofers because this is a very physical, challenging, hard job. I enjoyed providing their crew with a cooler full of drinks each day and believe I was appreciated for doing this. Getting a new tile roof is not going to be a “perfect” job. Something might get damaged, we have a cracked paver in our walkway, a flat tire from a nail, a few spots on the eves… Expect something to happen from a job this size (replacing a roof) – anyone that tells you otherwise is not being honest. The difference with Code Red is that if they see something wrong – they take care of it and I often noticed them correcting something before I even asked. I owned a small service company for 30 years and learned that no job or company is perfect but it is how they respond and their company’s culture that sets them apart. Code Red Roofers, Doug Roe, their staff and crew are top notch - it doesn't get any better.

We were looking to buy a home that needed a new roof IMMEDIATELY due to years of "patch jobs" all over the roof. Prior to making an offer on the house we contacted 4 roofing companies for bids. In addition to the price, we were listening carefully to what the roofers offering bids said they would do, how they would do it, and if we "felt" they were being honest... We chose Code Red Roofers based on all these criteria and we believe we could not have chosen a better company. We are thrilled with their work and our finished roof! From our first contact on the phone with Becky, to Mark coming to the home to give us an estimate, to Doug (an owner) coming to the job site to speak with his foreman daily, to Mark being just a phone call away throughout the construction, and every day the workers leaving the place cleaned of all trash before leaving... this is a company that truly cares about doing a good job. We have only good things to say about them. We had a party just as the roof was completed, an open house for over 100 people, and we made sure we told every one of our guests how pleased we were with our roofing company. One of the party guests has already referred his daughter to Code Red Roofers. We are not afraid to recommend them because we have seen how much they care about doing it right. For example, the man we originally hired to reconstruct the chimney (again, due to years of neglect from the previous owner). The man had a heart attack up on our roof (he had surgery and is recovering well) and we called Mark to say HELP! because the chimney had to be done before the roof could be completed. Mark made a call to a contractor he knows and trusts and we were able to hire him to do the chimney right away. This was inconvenient for Code Red Roofers as they had to wait a few days until the chimney was completed, then return to finish the metal roof on the far side by the chimney. Every step of the way they went above and beyond. This is a great company. If you ned to get a new roof, Code Red Roofers are the ones you should call. You will not be disappointed.

They stained up my entire driveway and my neighbor's driveway as well. They sent a contractor in without my permission and he dispersed a large area stain around my driveway. I thought he was going to replace the damaged stained pavers. They left my neighbors driveway stained up. When they tore the roof down, they left nails for over five weeks throughout my property. I found them sloppy and non-responsive in a five month period. They advertise that "they care, they show up and they call," but it's been over five months now and they have been paid in full as of 2/1/07 and the two driveways still are stained.
