Apex Pavers & Pools

I wanted a 32 inch sidewalk to be replaced by a 48 inch sidewalk , a short curved extension of the new sidewalk, and two mini patios at the two ends of the sidewalk. The short curved extension of the sidewalk would require a retaining wall. Company representative told me I would need a survey and permit. I asked if the company could take care of these, passing the cost through to me, and he said yes. The written proposal I received a few days later was for ONLY the sidewalk PLUS a long retaining wall. There was no drawing of the work. There was no mention of the width of the new sidewalk - instead the work was stated in terms of square feet. I would have had to go out and measure myself and do a bit of math to find out if I were actually going to get a sidewalk of 48 inch width. There was no mention of the two mini-patios. No mention of the survey. Proposal also stated that it explicitly excluded the permit for the work. I have three criticisms: (1) the proposal was unresponsive to what I asked for; and (2) the proposal was so vague I could not tell what I was going to get; and (3) the proposal included a long retaining wall I didn't ask for and don't need.

Great! They were punctual to provide an estimate. The service was provided as requested. All good.

Brian at Apex was great. He came out and measured the project, compiled our wish list and gave us the estimate. The materials were ordered and arrived early not late. The workers were prompt, efficient and very skilled. Demo was started on January 5, 2015 and finishing touches were completed on January 21, 2015. There were NO ISSUES at all. Brian had the job running like a well tuned machine We are very happy with our new Patio and the pool looks brand new.

Apex was quick to provide an estimate and we scheduled the appointment for the sealing. They arrived promptly and thoroughly clean all area's. Unfortunately,Mother Nature was not cooperative and the entire job took over a week due to rainy weather. A lot of companies would have probably sealed them to finish but Apex kept coming back until they were sure the surface area's were dry enough to take the seal. Every surface looks great and we would highly recommend them for patio work.

They were very professional. Men moved all the furniture out of the way and replaced it after laying bricks and then again after sealing. I would definitely use them again

Nick applied a special, safe chemical that removed all the stains and then he power washed all the pavers. Nick was very cooperative, professional and did the job as promised. This is the second time I used Apex and highly recommend them. The office staff is great especially Doreen who helped me tremendously. Could not ask for a better company than Apex.

The estimate was accepatable and they offered an Angie's List discount. The work was satisfactory.

I do not think they cleaned the pavers proper to start. I have had pavers done many times in the past with other companies but this was the worse. I have other operators look at it and they said is was verry poor. I paid the most that I have ever and got the worse job.

They called me right back and the owner came out within 2 days to do the estimate. I was pleased with him but I just don't have the money right now. The owner was great. The quote was $11,000. I would get another quote when I hit the lottery.

They are great, and we are getting ready to use them for another project. The workers were good, and they did a good job. They made sure they cleaned up everyday, and there was nothing dangerous lying around, because I have kids. They did a great job, we were very happy with them. Their price was very competitive, and the quality was great.

It turned out very well. It's better now than it was when I originally had it done. I really think this job will last! I also have a quote from them to pressure wash and reseal my paver pool deck and driveway.

They delivered & set up as agreed & went out of their way to accommodate our extended and rescheduled time frame as other work was off schedule. The owner, office & delivery staff were all so pleasant & easy to work with.

Ryan came out on time to give me a quote and I was impressed with him. Received the quote the next day - I thought it was fair and I immediately called the office and gave them my credit card number for the 50% deposit. I was told they would call me back to schedule it. Waited and waited and no call. The next week I called again. They told me it still wasn't scheduled. Two weeks later I still hadn't heard back from them. Called again and the woman I spoke to (Julie) didn't seem to know anything. She said my job still hadn't been scheduled and they were behind because of all the rain (the week before had been absolutely gorgeous weather EVERY SINGLE day (I remember because I had a house guest from up north). It had only rained once and that was at night time. Then, Julie told me they had to wait until the materials came in. She obviously had no idea in the world what she was talking about. I explained to her that there were no materials to order - I was having pavers REMOVED, not installed! At that point she said she could schedule me at the end of that week. I told her if it wasn't within the next couple of days, I would cancel the job. So, she scheduled me for Wednesday. The guy who came out and did the work was excellent and did a wonderful job. So, they do great work, but desperately need competent office staff. If they could replace their office staff I would consider using them again, but based on this past experience, I'll be looking elsewhere next time.

Have not hired him because money has jut been a bit tight, but hoping and planning soon, Ryan was punctual and professional. I was very impressed with his knowledge and recommendations.

Sorry, I submitted a detailed report in 2012. The entire interior of my home, except the master bedroom, was painted in different colors. Two bedrooms, two baths, living room and kitchen.

did a great job repairing sinking pavers that caused slight ruts on two sides of the driveway. Very professional and cooperative. Estimate and final cost were exactly the same. Highly recommend this company as they know what they are doing. Our driveway looks great now.

I interviewed several companies and after considering all the usual concerns, money, experience, relationships with former users and Angie's list, I decided on Apex. I have not had a single regret. They were professional in all matters, the installers were nothing but professional and knowledgeable. Worked with Brian who was prompt and very accessible. He also made good suggestions when we were planning the redo. The installing crew was punctual and we were very satisfied with the cuts and lines of the job.

They arrived on time the day they said they would be there. Started around 8:15 left at 4:30. Came back the next day and finished the job. It looks great.Answered my questions very professional and crew foreman spoke English. I noticed that some areas needed more sand between the pavers. I called Sat. afternoon and the crew came back on Tuesday and took care of the issue. I would highly recommend them.
