Stormshutter Mechanic is an awesome company to deal with! They are professional, courteous and amazing installers. Their whole team is a treat to work with. They are considerate of you and your home throughout the entire hurricane shutter installation process. You will not be disappointed if you put your trust in them!

We needed our hurricane shutters repaired ASAP because we will be going back to NY next wee and the company that installed them told me that they could not come for about 6 to 8 weeks. Stormshutter Mechanic gave me an appointment in 5 days and told me that if they get an opening she would let me know. The next morning Raquel called at 8am to tell me that she did a little shifting in their schedule and would like to send a repairman over between 9 and 9:30. Two gentlemen arrived at 9:10 and fixed the shutters. They worked efficiently, fixed the problem and lubricated the tracks and cleaned up beautifully. We will definitely use them again.

Omar came to our house for inspection, then it was delivered within 10 days. We chose this company b/c the rest of top 10 angies'list companies asking to re-do the whole system and that jack the price to 3 times higher. The house has the system installed but the panels were steel. I am not kidding - 16 yo steel panel. They are all rusty with holes so we need whole panels replaced. We chose for the clear panel so we could see through it. There was a few panel that won't fit but Omar came back taken care of it. Highly recommend, will do it again.

The service men arrived promptly, were knowledgeable and focused in their repair and did an excellent job in a timely manner. Regarding the second visit, the repair team called a few days prior to the original appointment time because they were going to be in the area and wanted stop by to assess the problem and estimate the time to repair. The lead repairman called into the office and was instructed to proceed with the job then. After hanging up, the lead repairman told me he, "got them to let them finish the job today;" then, "tell you what, you can buy me lunch, okay?" I gave him $8 because he looked like he could use the money and I was happy for the early repair. He also told me that the guy who was with him on the first visit "got fired." I rated the professionalism as good because, although the professionalism of one person was poor on the second visit, it was very good the first time and the professionalism of the second person was excellent on both visits.

They were very professional, efficient, obviously experienced, hard working and pleasant. And they were exceptionally tidy. They didn't leave a mess for me clean up.
