+ 0 moreExcellent service. I could not open my patio door due to the condition of the rollers. Within 30 minutes the rollers were replaced, the track cleaned, the door aligned, and the area was cleaned. I could not be happier with the service provided.

+ -1 moreTook over a month to set up an appointment since we were never able to reach him. When we finally did receive a call back appointment was set. He then had to cancel due to weather but would call us back. A month did pass and we still did not hear from him. We then called every day and left messages. As of this date 10-6 we still have not received a call back. Still trying to have door repaired and have a $99.00 voucher that can't be redeemed. We would be happy to give a review reflecting on his service if we ever get the door fixed.

+ -1 moreI still had trouble closing it and he came back today with a short notice and installed a handle and reinstalled it again after adjusting it further. It's an old slider and he did a great job and I appreciate it. Plus his demeanor was wonderful.

+ 0 moreBathroom accessories are installed as expected. But the ceiling fans are not working with the switch and the builder has informed me that the wiring should be done for a certain colored wire and I did not have the knowledge at the time of installation. But overall it was okay.
Description of Work: Need to have all bathroom accessories and two ceiling fans installed. I also had a tv wall mounted and a hose installed for the dryer.

+ 0 moreMr Pro refused to budge on his estimate even when I told him the other estimates I had received. I was able to research MORE RECENT Reviews of his work and it seems that while his work once was good and consistent, in recent months there has been a rash of dissatisfied customers with similar to my complaints I called Angie's List, reported what had happened with this provider and asked that he be removed from the provider list. Unfortunately Angie List seems to believe that their members read all the reviews so won't be removing Mr Pro. I recommend that YOU DO NOT USE MR PRO. I HAD AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE AND SO DID OTHER MEMBERS
Description of Work: I needed the sidelight window next to my front door to be replaced. I wanted a window that had the min-blinds built into it. I did all the research and found the best price locally available for Mr Pro to install. He did not show up for the first appointment and only responded to me after 5 days of me calling and texting me. I later found out that his excuse was the same one he had used with another customer weeks before. For the second appointment, he was 2 hours late. I gave him the information I researched and was told that he would get back to me. It took days for me to finally hear from him. In the meanwhile, I had 2 other installers come to my home and was told that my installation was very simple and was immediately given estimates. When I finally heard from Mr Pro, his estimate was $300 above the other 2 estimates, so even if I used the Angie's coupon, I would be paying $145 more than the other estimates.

+ -1 moreThey did a good job correcting the alignment of the doors. They were on time as scheduled and did the work quickly. I had a bi fold closet door that I asked to be installed and agreed to pay extra for that install. I was told I had the wrong size door and needed a 78'' instead of 80''. Having been through this in the past when I remolded, finding a 78" door is a custom order. Typically the 80" bi fold door is cut to size by removing a little from each end and was expecting they would do that but they did not. Not sure why that was not offered as a solution. Overall service was good, quality of the work done was very good and it took less than the 2 hours they allocated.

+ 0 more1st job: Done professionally and on time. 2nd time: Never called me back to find out what I needed to have done. I only called him again because of the great job he did the 1st time. 3rd time: He called me back and I gave him my clients phone # and he called my client and set up a time to go to his house. He never showed up at my clients house. To make matter worse, he never called my client to say that he was not coming or to re-schedule. I would not call or use him again.
Description of Work: I had him install a screen door and that was done on time and professionally. At that time, he told me to call him if I needed more work done. I called him and did not hear back from him. A few weeks ago, I called him again and he called back and told him I had a client who needed a contractor to look at a wall at the back of the home.

+ -1 moreIt went pretty well. They sent out a young boy, it must have been his first job. He was calling the boss all the time. We got it done that was fine. The cost of $99 covered it. I graded them a B because they sent somebody new out like that. The quality was good. The responsiveness was fine. They were a little scarce on parts, he searched the bottom of his tool chest to find one of the wheels that he needed. They could have better part supply for the doors.
Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for $99 for Sliding Patio Door Repair. They just put new doors on.

+ -1 moreI was contacted by Mr. D'Ambrosio on a Thursday and he indicated he would be out the following day (Friday) for an estimate. Mr. D'Ambrosio did not show and I called on the following Monday and spoke with him regarding why he did not keep the appointment. Mr D'Ambrosio indicated he would be out to provide an estimate and did show up and reviewed the two areas that I had requested repairs on and told me he would call me with an estimate either later than day or the next. I never heard from him and after several calls were not returned I called and told him to not provide an estimate or to try and start the work since I had hired a more responsive company. Contractors like this are the reason Angie’s list was created.
Description of Work: Contacted Jim D'Ambrosio (Mr. Pro Home Improvement) asking if he could repair the wood on the chimney before I had the exterior of the house painter. Additionally, there was a piece of stucco that needed to be repaired by the front garage door.
