Advanced Water Solutions (Kyle Jones)

Well, I am displeased about inferior performance concerning Kyle Jones of Advanced Pump and Water Solutions. I bought a Repo house and the water system was the pits. I hired Kyle Jones to install a complete new water system. Pump, salt tank, chlorine injection, backwash, and concrete pad to mount everything on, everything but the actual well. He was recommended by a friend. Kyle gave me a quote which seemed a little high, but my friend assured me Kyle did good work, so I agreed. Kyle’s workmanship was acceptable and the equipment did look dependable. However … Frustration #1. Kyle did not arrive on the day he said he would for the install; but finally did come and do the job. After the installation was complete I came and inspected and saw that the water pump was not replaced. Like I said, I thought I was getting a complete system, Pump, salt tank, Etc. I didn’t. The old pump was still in the system. Kyle said the water pump was good and didn’t need replacement even though it was seriously rusted and noisy. So, OK, chalk it up to miscommunication. A little upsetting, seeing as how I thought a $400 pump was in the deal and it wasn’t. Making the price for what I did receive even higher. But, OK. The system’s working and I accepted the bad taste in my mouth. Frustration #2. After a while, the chlorine injection system stopped working. I called Kyle, he sets up an appointment, and then didn’t show. I called my friend who originally recommended Kyle. “What is the story on this guy.” So, my friend called Kyle. I got a phone call from Kyle, “I’ll be over in 2 days.” He missed the appointment. However he did come the following week after making the appropriate excuses.” He said he will give me the next service call for FREE to make amends, which was the appropriate gesture. Frustration #3: Not more than 3 months later the water pump seizes up and I have to spend $425 to replace it. The bad taste in my mouth now turned rather sour. Not getting a $400 pump in the original deal like I wanted, and now I have to pay out an additional $425. Not happy. Frustration #4. A few months later I have another problem and call Kyle. “Will be right over …” whatever day he said. Didn’t show. Called him again. Finally after a few excuses he did arrive and fix the problem. At this point I believe most people would go by the “3 strikes and your out” ruling. Well I gave him the “4 fouls and walk” ruling. I gave up on him. Walked away from his services, and started fixing problems myself. Frustration #5. Many months go by and now my system currently has another chlorine injector problem. That friend that recommended Kyle just happened to come by for a visit during this current dilemma. I belly ached to him about Kyle Jone’s lack of response and responsibility, and asked why he recommends Kyle. I explained all my past experiences with Kyle’s lackadaisical attitude, poor response, and communication problems. My friend suggested that Kyle be called since he was the one that installed the system, and give Kyle a chance to show he can do better than what my past experiences would indicate. “He really has a good reputation and he is good about servicing his customers and now sets up regular service schedules”. “I’ll call Kyle for you, I’m sure he will do you right.” So OK. Kyle comes over next day; he looks at the system, and says “I don’t have parts. I will go get the parts and be back Tuesday of Next week (April 14) to fix the system.” So, three weeks have passed and, as usual NO SHOW, NO PHONE CALL, and no KYLE JONES of Advanced Water Solutions. In short, Kyle Jones is over priced, extremely derelict in keeping his appointments, and is slipshod in his communication if and when he does get around to showing up. Kyle Jones does not have my endorsement nor do I recommend him. If you want poor, overpriced, frustrating, poor service, and miscommunication and excuses, Kyle Jones of Advanced Water Solutions is who you want to do business with.
