There was a lack of communication, which happens with projects but my expectation of the work scope and the owner's differed. After having two delays for the start day the project was done a week later than expected. The staff who came to do the work were very good. The owner's response when I spoke with him during the project to say there was a misunderstanding about the expected outcome was very unsatisfactory. I was asking for less work not more so I don't understand why he was so adamant that I agreed to what he understood and I shouldn't change my mind. I didn't think I was changing my mind. When they left I paid the agreed upon amount but did not get a finished product and I'm sure the cost of what his employees did was lower than what Iwas paid. I am now hiring another company to finish the job which is unfortunate. My primary beef is with the attitude of the owner and the failure to communicate the delays and then not talking to me about how to resolve the issue to both our satisfaction.
