Jim is one of the few contractors I've worked with who stands by his word, and who also shows initiative. We had a generally agreed-upon outcome, and Jim worked through all obstacles in our absence. The project to landscape the side yard including a paver path, replantings, sod, etc., came out excellent. It really looks great. He's very professional and does what he says.

Very responsive to appointment and getting us a quote. Within 48 hours. Very good in working with our requirements and keeping costs reasonable. Recommended plants/trees but took us to nursery to finalize selections. Crew was efficient and professional. James kept us informed regarding work schedules, and has been great with follow up.

No problems at all from start to finish. I don't know a lot about landscaping myself, so I relied on Jim to help me make good choices, which he did. I would highly recommend this company!

Jim Knoeble came out to provide us with an estimate based on our ideas. Over the succeeding several weeks, we changed our ideas several times. Jim provided us with new estimates as necessary. Once we had agreed, Jim set a day for the work to be done. Then, he actually moved the day up by about a week - almost unheard of. On the appointed day, Jim and one assistant completed all the work and left the property clean and in good shape. We are delighted by the work.

His advice on the state of my house landscaping was very helpful. His prices were very reasonable. I would use him again and would recommend him to anyone.

James returned our calls promptly and gave detailed suggestions and estimates. He took us to a nursery to see the plants he suggested. The work was done when promised and the yard looks great.

I emailed Jim to describe the work needed and received a return email in two days. Jim asked that I call him on the phone to discuss which I did the next day. Jim didn't remember my email, so I had to describe again the work I wanted. He wasn't too thrilled about having to drive from St. Pete to Clearwater for the work, but decided to anyway. Once we met, he described what he thought would look good and showed me pictures of his yard. When going to the nursery to pick out plants, it was a bit overwhelming, but Jim did his best to describe it to my wife and I (both of us were extremely sick with the flu at the time). We even went to his house to see the plants when they mature. Jim was out when he said he would be and completed the entire job in two days. My back yard turned out fantastic.

Very well! Mr. Knoebel is very knowledgeable about all types of plants, flowers and bushes, and was able to recommend the best choices for my condo and budget. He had me meet him at the wholesale nursery and we did a thorough walk through to see what I was getting.

They laid the sod on the 22nd of January. We had a big rain storm that night. I live on an incline and the sod was washed away. They came back the next morning after the storm and replaced the sod at no extra charge. I didn't even have to call them. I did insist on paying them a little extra because the rain was an act of God, not their fault and they did have out of pocket expenses. This professionalism shows me they are an honest company who looks out for their customers. I would definitely use them again and have recommended them to others. I trust them completely and was very happy with their work.

Jim explained all the work in advance and gave me a good estimate of the cost. He showed up on time, finished the work to my total satisfaction. It was an area around one of my apartments that I needed to get rented the next month. The work they did really improved the look of the apartment cottage. Within two weeks I had the apartment rented for $100 more than I had previously rented it. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work Jim did and have already referred him to several of our friends.

Jim returned my initial call immediately. He came out to give me an estimate that same day. He was very business-like and friendly. He explained everything about what we wanted done. He faxed us an estimate the next day. After we called him saying we wanted him to do the work, he quickly set up a time. He called the night before the scheduled day to confirm, and was here on time. He did a fantastic job! He stayed and explained what he thought might be helpful to us. He will be coming back. We have a lot of work that needs to be done and we wouldn't hire anyone else for the job.

We are very pleased with the work that Jim and his crew did on our yard. The job included clearing out some weedy, overgrown areas and planting new plants throughout the yard (including two trees). Jim arrived on time, did quality work, and even helped us pick out our plants. He also gave us a wealth of advice to keep the plants and beds looking good for the long term. None of our plants have died and our yard looks wonderful. Thanks 2nd Nature Landscaping!

Jim came out and gave us an estimate. He was very professional, explaining everything in detail. He was prompt in completing the contract. He did everything in the contract. It was not an easy job since our ground had been compacted well when the house was built, but he did not give up. He had to spend a lot of extra time and did not even change the contract price. We are very happy with our sprinkler system. We would recommend him to everyone.

I explained that I was planning to sell the house and needed to create some curb appeal without breaking the bank and it needed to be done quickly. We talked a bit, threw around some ideas and right away he knew exactly what to do and didn't try to sell me on anything unnecessary, which I really appreciated. On that first meeting, we walked around the house and he rattled off what he thought each section needed. I felt totally comfortable leaving him to make all creative decisions. He also gave me some tips on things I could do myself to save even more. He and his crew started the job the morning after I gave him the deposit check and finished two days later. I was amazed at how quickly I had a brand new, gorgeous landscaping for under $2,400! I'm hiring Second Nature Landscaping to maintain my yard until the house sells. I hope the new owner keeps him on.
