Description of Work: Jim and his assistant installed two vinyl gates and a section of fence that was missing. They were very professional, kept us informed of what would be done and when, and charged us exactly what was quoted. We will have him back for landscaping in the back yard.

Description of Work: Jim designed and created a beautiful front yard to our new home. I would highly recommend his services! He was prompt, follow through was great, kept in contact with me and returned a couple weeks later when I couldn't determine if the areas were getting enough water.

Description of Work: We have had problems with water collecting in our yard, they put in a complete drainage system around our home. It works extremly well and we are very pleased with the way it looks. The owner is very helpful, professional and job completed in a very timely manner.

Description of Work: Gave a bid and beat his own price. Very honest and as a PM, thankful he gave the price he did and was able to come off of that price. If you are in any contracting business its better to plan high and perform hard to produce lower cost.

Description of Work: JIM AND SANTIAGO, HIS HELPER CAME OUT ON A VERY LAST MINUTE CALL FROM ME AND DID THE LANDSCAPING IN ONE DAYS TIME AS MY HOUSE WAS BEING APPRAISED THAT WEEK. WE NEEDED SOME EXTRA PLANTS AND JIM CAME UP WITH THEM WITHIN AN HOUR. BEAUTIFUL JOB AND I FEEL VERY REASONABLE TOO. HE'S GOING TO DO MY NEXT HOME SOON!!

Description of Work: We were interested in having a section of our concrete driveway removed and replaced with gravel as the concrete was being lifted by the roots of a large tree. We were satisfied with the plan presented by Second Nature but the price was very high. We got a second estimate from K & B Concrete (also on Angie's List) which was $1000 cheaper so we went with K&B. Their work was excellent

Description of Work: We discovered mold in our family room under our wood flooring. We had to remove the wood and dry out the concrete slab before we could continue with installing new flooring. I called James.Knoebel from Second Nature Landscaping when I read his reviews on Angie's List. The review mentioned he specialized in drainage problems. I asked him.to investigate and fix the drainage on the outside on my family room which I thought was the cause of the mold problem. He came out and inspected the situation and came up with a through plan to fix the issue. He installed a drainage system which will direct the rain water from my two down gutters to a drain that will carry the water through the drainage pipe, that he installed, down both sides of our house and out into the street. He was very dependable and responded to my calls and concerns, I found him to be an excellent contractor and professional, I would highly recommend him. He also gave me the name of another person to come out and check for mold inside my home. This gentleman was also on Angie’s list and his name was David Coulter of the Coulter Construction Co. He was able to check my interior walls and found them to have no mold or mildew. David was also very professional and we could recommend him as well,

Description of Work: Our old, tired, dead yard, in front and back, was in bad need of a facelift in order to prepare for selling our house. Jim at Second Nature Landscaping, designed a new plan for us, ripped up all of the dead grass & weeds, tweaked the existing sprinkler system (instead of installing a new one in order to save $$), pulled up some old pavers and utilized them more effectively, tore out & cleaned up overgrown bushes, cleared out tons of oak seedlings & fallen leaves & twigs and installed sod, new plants and lots of mulch.
