Description of Work: Because of the Angie's List coupon, I did have to wait my turn to have my trees done. But it was worth the wait, since they trimmed everything the way I like it. They also did a great job cleaning up the aftermath. I will definitely be calling them for future tree service.

Description of Work: Removed a very large bush from front yard. Stump removal not included in this particular coupon and they offered to give me the name of someone who does that, but I decided I would rather have the stump there as it didn't seem to be a bother. Did a great job of cleaning up. You would never know there was a bush there. Would use again

Description of Work: Phoned Tony on January 31, 2013 and left message to request service. Received call back on February 2,2013. Tony examined tree and said he could complete work but couldn't get to it right away. I told him that was OK and to give me a call when he could schedule. After not hearing from him for a month, I called and left messages on March 2nd and March 6th but did not receive a call back. On March 17th I called and spoke with his wife. She said she would pass message on to Tony. He called on March 19th and said he couldn't complete job because a bucket was needed and he did not own one and I could request a refund. And he said he had passed the job over to another company that he works with. I asked him to have the owner give my husband a call. As of today, we have not heard from the other company.

This time, the company came out on short notice to inspect a diseased tree, provided a quote to remove the tree, and scheduled a date to perform the work. The day of the tree removal, the company arrived promptly, removed the tree, and cleaned after themselves very well. I will definitely use this company again for tree trimming services.

Description of Work: I was very satisfied with Peninsula Tree Service. They were prompt and very thorough at removing two palm trees. Their fee was also very reasonable, $250.00 minus the $25.00 coupon.

Description of Work: I called Peninsula for a quote in removing a tall pine tree. They saw the tree and gave me an estimate in less than 1 week. We agreed to a date for the work. They arrived promptly at the time promised and began to work immediately. They were thorough, professional and neat. They mulched and removed all the debris. My husband asked for a revision as he wanted to keep part of the trunk for benches. They accomodated his request for a minimal fee. The contractor that shredded the stump came within a day and we are completely happy. Most definitely will call them again.

Description of Work: Tony and his crew arrived earlier than estimated. There was good telephone communication prior to this so they were expected. They removed deadwood and pruned 2 jacarandas, 1 raintree, 3 oaks, one sycamore. They removed a crepe myrtle and several cherry laurels. They trimmed a number of palms and removed dead trunks from 5 fishtail palms. They worked without ceasing - doing exactly what had been discussed previously. Their cleanup was impeccable. Things important to me - they were very careful with my potted plants, there was no cursing or swearing, although the crew smoked there were no cigarette butts left in my yard. They were consistently pleasant, respectful and honest. Also - a couple of redheaded woodpeckers are nesting in a dead part of one of my trees. They protected this nest and will return when the little ones have "flown the coop". I really appreciated this. Update - After the birds left the nest, they returned as promised and finished the job.

Description of Work: We had two large sweetgum trees, as well as a few other trees and bushes which badly needed trimming. The company was professional throughout from responding to my inquiry to scheduling. They did an excellent job shaping the trees and cleaning up as well. Will definitely use again in a year or two when the time comes for more pruning.

Description of Work: We have 13 large oaks that Tony and his helper climbed to remove moss and clean out in general plus lift in a few places. It had been some time since any tree work was done, so it was a lot of fussy, detailed work.The work lasted over 4 1/2 days. As usual Tony cleaned up as he went along. Peninsula Tree Service was on time, cut or trimmed exactly what was discussed and cleaned up really well afterward. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.
