When you deal with a family owned company that has a sensitivity toward its reputation, you typically get better service. I feel that you do get what you pay for. That is a positive comment. We just started using this company this year, and we are completely happy with their service.

I have used them before and I've always been pleased with their work.

Very well. They went beyond what I expected.

I called on a Sunday (I expected a machine, got a person, got an appointment). They were out that week with a estimate. They agreed to come late in the day so I could get out of work and meet them. They gave me a great price but went lower to beat another written offer I had. Rushed to get work done because I needed to decorate for Halloween. Job was done as promised and the clean up was great. Perfect job from start to finish. I will hire them again, I will recommend them to friends and family.

What can you say? He did a good job and cleaned up after himself.

They were sometimes slow in calling back. However, they were fantastic in the field other than taking out my electrical service which they did not communicate to me. I found out from another source. It would have been nice for them to at least let me know. There was no damage to my house.

Mr. Wiggins climbed the trees and trimmed the offending branches. His assistant dragged the branches to the chipper and ground them up. Both individuals raked the grass to get up small twigs and return the grass to a twig-free condition. Work was done expeditiously, efficiently and neatly. Due care was exercised to assure no branches fell on our tile roof.

This was the second time we have used Peninsula Tree Service to trim and shape several trees on our property. Everyone we have spoken to is extremely friendly and professional. The work performed was to our specifications, and they did a great job cleaning up after the job was completed. I would definitely recommend Peninsula Tree Service.

The first time we scheduled, Tony & crew arrived right on time, but the ground was too soggy for working around the trees. We rescheduled a month later. Tony & his assistant did a terrific job, completing all work within 1 day and cleaning up thoroughly afterward. I'll hire them again in the future!

I called the service on a Saturday afternoon and left a message. Early Monday morning I received a callback and was told that Tony (Wiggins) would come out to give me an estimate for the work. He arrived that afternoon as agreed and we discussed complete tree removal vs. partial (trimming away all the dead wood) and agreed complete removal was the best. As this time was in between storms, I was told they would fit me in as soon as they could and they returned in about two weeks to do the job. The tree was removed down to the stump in less than two hours and all evidence of the work was cleaned up. The stump was removed in a few hours and again, all evidence of tree and debris was removed from yard and street (which has not always been the case with other tree services I have used). Personnel were professional and efficient. The quoted price was comparable to other estimates I had received for the same job in the past.

Peninsula Tree Service/Tony came out promptly when I asked for a quote to take down a tree at my Mom's house. He gave a very competitive quote. When I called him to accept the quote he promptly scheduled the work. He arrived on time. He and his assistant were professional and obviously knew what they were doing. The tree to be taken down was in a very tight space between the side of the house and the fence in a small side yard. It loomed over the air conditioner and screened in porch. Tony and his assistant worked carefully to take large branches down in small pieces to avoid any potential for damage. When they were done they cleaned up completely; there was no evidence that they had ever been there except the tree was gone! Tony's assistant was up on a flat part of the roof for part of the time and even cleaned out the leaves and tree scraps that were in the gutter! They also carefully closed the side gate and replaced netting that is there to stop my Mom's two cats from getting out. I can't think of a single thing that I could have them to do differently. I recommend them 100%.

Tony (the owner) was originally contacted on the strength of good reports on Angie's List. I carefully reviewed the one "bad" report that he had received in the past, and was fairly confident that he had had the misfortune of a misunderstanding with a hard-to-deal-with customer. I decided to take my chances. Tony came out for the estimate right on schedule (a couple of minutes early, as a matter of fact), listened carefully to what I thought I wanted done (that is, to eliminate potential problems without killing the look of the trees and the canopy), provided me with his own inputs based on considerable experience, and gave me a reasonable quote for the work. The lead time was a little further out that I had hoped, but he said he would move me up in the schedule as quickly as possible. He did call a week or so later and gave me the opportunity move into a cancellation. He came out with his assistant, on schedule. We went over the trimming plan and they got to work. He was able to do all of the necessary trimming from the roof, or from the trees, which he was able to climb expertly. The result was no damage to landscaping or pavers that has occurred when the prior service provider parked a heavy boom lift several places in the yard. The work was going so well at about 50% done, that I asked if I could just write the check and left him finish on this own. He said that was fine, but he suggested that I reduce the check amount by $50.00 because he thought the work would be a little less than he estimated. Nevertheless, I wrote the check for the full amount but asked that he do a quick pole-saw trim job on a small avocado tree - which he appeared happy to do. When I returned home at the end of the day, the job was done perfectly and the clean-up was spotless. In phone calls leading up to the work, Tony was easy to reach, but if I wasn't able to get directly to him, his wife and partner (Dana, I think) was extremely helpful in coordinating a quick return call from Tony. Good job, well done, on time, and (if he had his way) under budget. I'd recommend highly.

They did what they said they would do. They got the job done and I got what I expected. They showed up on time and worked efficiently. They also cleaned up after they were done.

Very good. We hired them twice. The second time it took them a while to get out to the house to do the work. They were more responsive the first time.

Excellent work. Tony trimmed and removed a ton of dead wood from my massive Oak and cleaned up my Magnolia. All debris was cleaned up swiftly and completely. After receiving several bids, I hired Peninsula as I felt that Tony understood how attached I am to my trees and I knew he would take great care. He did. Having had a storm recently, I can say that this is the first time I have not had to do a major post-storm cleanup of limbs; very happy about that. Peninsula is a top-notch service and Tony and crew are friendly, professional and experts. I highly recommend and I plan on calling him in the future for additional work.

They gave an estimate way below what I thought it would be. They were polite, thorough and cleaned up well. They were exceedingly pleasant.

I called them up and got an estimate. In a reasonable time they came out and got the job done. They showed up right on time got the job done fast. I would recommend them.

They worked very efficiently with Tony doing the trimming on 4 or 5 trees and his helper cleaning up and throwing all the branches in a big machine that ground them up. They raked everything up and left both our neighbor's yard and our yard looking neat. They had everything done in about an hour. The trees looked great. My husband and I were very pleased with their work.

I called their business and asked for an estimate. A lady set up a date for Toni to come by and give an estimate. Toni arrived on the day and time that had been scheduled. He walked around all three oak trees and explained in detail what was needed and what would take place. He gave us an estimate of $600 to do the job. He stated we were not to pay him until the job was finished to our satisfaction. A date was set for him to do the job. He called a few days later and gave us a date that he would be at our house to do the job. On the day scheduled he came about fifteen minutes late, but had called to let us know he would be a few minutes late. After arriving he and his assistant started work right away and never stopped for a break of any kind until the entire job was completed. Upon completion Toni took us around to each tree to make sure all the work was done to our satisfaction. We paid $650, $50 more than was the estimate. He and his associate were professional in every aspect. We plan on using his service the next time our trees again need service. Our three oak trees look absolutely beautiful thanks to Toni & his assistant.

Tony arrived on time, performed the work as estimated and also did some trimming of other trees while there. I found Tony to be professional, courteous, and articulate in his work. He does not waste time getting the job done, and doing it right.

We called and he would call back. He is very accommodating. He is small but he'll do the work. We have had very good experiences with him. He is professional and he is real friendly. He's very nice.

Peninsula Tree Services are very reasonably priced. He was very affective, and a very nice fellow, I liked his price. There's nothing I didn't like.

Tony Wiggins called to see if he could move our job ahead of the scheduled time. He was tireless. They cleaned as they went, and when completed everything looked great.

Placed a call requesting an estimate. Tony called back that same day and provided an estimate within 48 hours. After making Tony aware that I would be using him, he called and gave me an estimate of the day he would be over to do the work. He was on time. The work was done to my satisfaction. He cleaned everything up. I will use him again in the future.

It went very well. They are prompt, courteous, clean up before they leave and have reasonable prices.
