Peninsula Tree Service

This was the third time I have used Tony's services to trim and shape two trees growing close to my home. As always, Tony came out the following day I called to leave an estimate. When I told him he was hired he said that he would call back to set up a time and day when he would be able to do the work. Because I had hired Tony before I knew he was good on his word. When Tony and and one of his Associate's did the work I was extremely pleased. Not only did he do exactly as I asked, they cleaned up as they went along and everything looked as if they had not been there at all. Thank you Tony!!

Called twice to change arrival time. When they arrived, they asked if they could remove branches from a tree in our front yard to allow them to locate their chipper conveniently for them on our front lawn. We refused. Did all work promised, but not thoroughly - if I had paid more attention and inspected carefully before they left, I feel sure they would have taken care of things because the person in charge was very courteous, but it wasn't one of my better days. Instead of trimming the fruit tree stump, they just snapped it off, leaving a spiked projection about 8" high right where you'd trip over it. Took me a half hour the next day with my hand tools to trim it flush - something they could have done in 10 seconds with their chain saw. So little was trimmed off the palms that they need pruning again a month later. When they left, they asked if we would accompany them to the recycling center and show residential ID to save them the dumping fee. We did.

I found Peninsula on angies list along with another tree service.Mr Tony Wiggins of Peninsula quoted a rate half the price of the other quotation.The reports on Peninsula were excellent so I employed Peninsula.Mr Wiggins arrived promptly on time with a helper.They worked very well together and took about 4 hours to get the job done.I asked Mr Wiggins to cut down a limb off another tree which was not in the agreement which he did at no additional cost.They cleaned up very well and left the yard really clean. I was very pleased with the job and will certainly use Mr Wiggins again.

I made an appointment for a bid. Tony managed to come 2 days earlier. I received a proposal. I accepted it though I felt it was expensive even with Angie's list discount. He promised to call when he can do the work. 10 days passed without hearing from him. I was about to call another company. Then he called in the morning that he can perform the service right now. I was lucky my husband was home. I arrived when he was almost finished so I could check the result. One tree stump was too high and one bush was not removed I noticed later. He was pleasant to deal with and worked efficiently with his helper.

I called Tomy and he came by and gave me a written price to remove my tree and stump. His price was lower than anyone elses that I had talked to. He came back on the day he said with his helper and they did the work in about 3 hours and cleaned up afterward. I am extremely pleased and would use him again and have recommended him to my neighbors. I give Tony an A Plus...

This is the second time I have had Peninsula Tree service do some work for me. Tony is professional as well as personable, and does the work quickly and neatly - I wouldn't hesitate to call him again if I am in need of tree service in the future. I had a pretty good idea that the tree in my back yard was unhealthy, as well as too close to my house. Tony confirmed my suspicions, and when I saw the center of the trunk, it was indeed rotting. Tony and his helper cleaned up all the debris from the tree as well as the leaves in the alley that I had neglected to pick up - they went above and beyond!

Came right away to give me an estimate. Made arrangements to do the work, Peninsula had to cancel; set up a second time and they had to cancel that date due to illness; set up a third date and they took out both trees in just a few hours. Had trouble arranging a mutually suitable date, but in the end the work got done. The price was less than other estimates and included work that others did not include. I would definitely use them again.

Appointment set up by Janice - excellent reception, informative, friendly service. Tony arrived on time (mind you this was a short notice appointment also). They worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned up excellent afterward. I think they provided and excellent service and I will use them all the time as my tree trimming service. I would highly recommend them.

They did an excellent and very professional job. They were very organized and cleaned up as they worked. It was a very big job since one of the trees had many dead branches and neither had been trimmed for several years. When completed, both trees looked beautiful.

The company that previously trimmed our oaks did a nice job except that they didn't clean out the dead parts of the tree very well. They also left a superfluous large branch. Tony and John took care of all of this. It took extra time to clean the trees well. They gave the trees a great shape. We loved the look and our neighbors commented favorably afterwards. Also, I can not say enough about how nicely they cleaned everything up after themselves. They did all of this for a very good price. It is amazing how often "professionals" are rude to customers. Tony, his wife Janice, and John are all very nice people. This matters!!

During a recent storm with high winds and heavy rain, literally one-third of my large oak tree came down, covering my front lawn and blocking the path to my door - it missed my car and the house. Tony Wiggins came out promptly to provide an estimate when I called the next morning, and as he had the best price, I had him do the work. Tony and his helper worked quickly, cleaned up, and were careful to try to save the plants and shrubs (which all survived). They did a terrific job, were very professional, and I would definitely call them again.

We got three bids from three tree services and they came in as the lowest bidder. They were prompt with the estimate and completion of the job. They cleaned up to our satifaction.

Tony arrived on time both for the estimate and the actual work. Very pleasant and professional. I actually got 6 different estimates. Tony's was right in the middle. The only ones lower were smaller companies that seemed concerned about how to get rid of all the debris, which made me think they didn't have the equipment for the job. Tony's estimate was very fair. He and his crew did the job while I was at work. When I came home, the job was done exactly as we had discussed and all debris had been taken away. I was more than satisfied and would definitely use this company again.

Peninsula Tree Service had the highest estimate. Tony asked after giving the estimate where they were in cost and I told him they were the highest. Tony called the next day and wanted to adjust the estimate. He adjusted the estimate to $1675 which made their estimate slightly less than another company so I had two estimates that were essentially the same. The change in the estimate was not enough for Peninsula to get the work.

Absolutely positive. I call 3 services for estimates, others which I also got from Angie's site. Tony was the only one who followed up on his estimate - and not in a pushy way. He did exactly what he said he would do. They were prompt, courteous and left the place spotless. I would definitely use them again for all my furture tree and trimming needs. PS - he also had the best price!

This is the second time we have used this company and were very satisfied both times. Punctual and did the work for the price quoted.

He was more reasonable and he did a good job. Other companies I called wanted $4000.
