Same as above. The work was performed as we requested and contracted, and for the amount estimated. These guys are "worker bees'. They come on time and work until the job is finished. And that's saying something in this summer heat. They were very conscientious about where they drove their vehicles since we have a septic system, and even picked up and removed some limbs and fallen moss that weren't their responsibility. I can't say enough positive about the caliber of their work. It's tops and you won't find anyone better..

I called Tony to come out for an estimate the last week of July. We agreead he would come out Monday, August 1st to give us an estimate. On Monday he never showed and never called. On Tuesday he called my cell phone and asked if he could come take a look at the trees; when I told him that we had expected him the previous day and we would not be using his services, he hung up without saying a word. Very glad we did not even get an estimate as I can only imagine dealing with him as a paying client!

I contacted Tony who came out that same day to give me an estimate. He was approached by my neighbor who requested an estimate as well. Tony told us it would be approximately two weeks out for him to complete the work. I had no problem with that as this was not an emergency. Tony completed the work on July 19 for myself and my neighbor and we couldn't be happier with the work performed. Everything was done as we requested and they did a fantastic job cleaning up afterwards. I have used Peninsula Tree Service several times in the past and will in the future. Thank you Tony!

They were referred to me by somebody else. I have had estimates from other companies and they were much higher than Peninsula Tree Service. They were excellent and responded quickly to my call. They set up an appointment and followed up the night before to confirm that they were coming out. They came on time and did the work that they said they would. Their work was neat and I would recommend them to others.

Excellent Service. We use their services every few years to keep the Magnolia tree in shape and healthy. They are always professional and provide good service. We will continue to use their services and recommend them.

Tony showed up with his crew on time and did a very good job. All work was completed as described and they did an excellent job cleaning up. With his Angie's List discount this was well worth it. We would definately use him again.

Job well done! Tony called to say he was available a week earlier than expected, and went to my home while I was at work. He cut back 3 large oak tree limbs that were overhanging my roof. He also trimmed up some smaller overhanging branches in the front yard. I thought the price was pretty fair, since the branches over the house were so large. I came home to a very clean cut sight, and to a very neat yard. They completely cleaned up after themselves, and could barely tell they had been there! I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Tony.

Tony gave us an excellent estimate and followed through wonderfully. We had a large tree removed (including stump grinding) and several large oak trees cut back significantly. Tony also trimmed back our sheffleura which had grown way beyond our reach. He and his helper arrived promptly and worked most of the day. We asked to save some of the larger oak limbs for firewood. Tony cut them to length and stacked them neatly in the yard. Excellent work at a better than expected price. I highly recommend this company.

Called around for estimates and Tony came out quickly and gave us a free estimate after evaluating our trees. (This was nice as another tree service wanted to charge a fee just to come out and give an estimate.) Got one other estimate and Peninsula was much lower on price. Tony arranged to come back out the following week. He came with a helper and they got to work right away. The job was completed quickly and they did an excellent job cleaning up everything. Tony also mentioned some additional work we may want to have done at some point down the road. Overall very pleased with good service at a reasonable price. I'd recommend Peninsula and will likely use them again.

Tony was a great communicator. The tree that was removed was dying and he told ua we would need a permit for that specific tree and told me about the permitting process, he picked up the permit when the city approved it. Scheduling was done quickly, phone calls were always returned in a timely manner and Tony was always professional and courteous. The work was done in a very efficient manner, they cleaned up as they went and cleaned again when done. They needed to use my neighbor's driveway due to the location of my gate and she came over and commented that her driveway was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. I would absolutely use this company again and recommend to friends. I am deffinitely keeping Mr. Wiggins information in my permanent file of companies to use again.

Peninsula Tree did a great job trimming the trees, and cleaned everything up nicely. With 3 estimates, their price was the best too. Highly recommended.

I called 4 providers from Angie's list to get estimates on tree trimming and stump/root removal. Tony Wiggins of Peninsula Tree Service was the only one who actually made an appointment to come out and survey the requirements, and he came when he said he would. The other companies basically did "drive by" estimates, and while I did talk with two of them on the phone, I did not get written estimates from either. While the estimate Tony provided was not the lowest, it was in writing, and he clearly understood what I expected. As to the actual work, Tony and his crew trimmed a large East Palatka Holly tree, and did an excellent job of shaping it and removing interior growth. They also trimmed a large stand of Florida holly trees in the rear easement as well. In addition, I had them remove two stumps that were in the front of the house, and left over from trees which had died over the last couple of years during the drought. Finally, they pruned the roots that were well above grade in the back yard, and were basically preventing me from being able to run the lawn mower in many places. The clean-up was immaculate, and everything was done well beyond my expectations. I will certainly not hesitate to use Peninsula Tree Service in the future.

Terrific Job! We interviewed six different tree service providers listed on Angie?s List, who all had strong ratings and numerous current reports. We selected Tony because he was extremely professional, experienced and safety-conscious. Tony provided a written estimate, asked relevant questions, offered very competitive prices, and had all the required documentation to evidence a pre-existing policy for liability insurance and workers? compensation insurance. He was thoughtful and patiently discussed in detail the specific parameters of the job. The work was personally performed by Tony which significantly reduced the risk for a misunderstanding of what was to be included within the scope of the project. Tony did exactly what he represented, and even over delivered beyond what had been discussed. He was very cautious, competent, and took the necessary time and care to safeguard our property. The job site was left clean and all debris was removed. We were very selective when choosing a tree service provider because tree trimming work can be extremely dangerous. The occupational fatality rate for the tree trimming industry is three times higher than both policemen and firemen. Nevertheless, fewer than one out of nine tree service providers operating in our county carry both general liability insurance coverage and workmen?s compensation (yes, we did a lot of research on this topic to protect ourselves). I would strongly suggest that no matter which tree service provider is being considered, you first ask for a copy or see a Certificate of Insurance that details the type and amount of liability insurance the tree service provider carries before you allow them to start work. I recommend you verify the information with the agent on the certificate to ensure the policy is still in effect (for example, the first non-Angie?s List tree service vendor we interviewed provided us with a bogus certificate). Why is it important? Because if you hire a company that does not carry liability insurance, you the homeowner will very likely be responsible for any injuries or damages incurred to or by the tree trimmers while they are working on your property. Also, verify that the tree service provider has workers? compensation insurance for their employees. Although you as the homeowner might have workers? compensation insurance under your homeowner?s policy, it is very important to check your policy and ask your insurance agent to clarify any limitations or exclusions. For example, many homeowner policies have restrictions that exclude a catastrophic loss for an uninsured business owner/contractor. Again, if you call the agent, verify that the tree service provider has a current policy on file with the appropriate coverage limits. This is extremely important - because if you hire a company with minimal or no insurance, you are now exposed to serious financial risk should an accident occur to the tree trimmers, your property or the property of others.

They did a really fantastic job. He tells you the truth about what you need and he doesn?t try to talk you into anything that you don?t need. He told me that both of these trees needed fertilizer and he recommended a colleague who was also first rate. We were getting ready to leave town so he came out and got going on the work when we needed him. I plan on using him again.

I called Tony for an estimate. He came out next day and was extremely professional. His estimate was fair . I asked him how soon we could have it done. He said he was out a couple of weeks. One week later he called me to see if he could come out the next morning between 8-9 am. He arrived at 8:40 and started work. The job required him to take off two large limbs from a 50' pine and drop them in between my powerlines and house, in a space of about 5-10ft from the house. He then had to remove an oak limb that was laying across a cable line. We asked him if he could trim a few small, low hanging limbs from a 3rd tree and he took care of those as well. Tony and his helper also did a great job with the clean up. I would definitely hire Tony again and I would recommend him to others.

Tony and his helper showed up when they said they would, went right to work and finished in a few hours. They cleaned up so you couldn't really tell that they had been here. They are very friendly and willing to listen to your concerns.

Outstanding overall. length of job was approx. 2 hr. They cleared and removed all trimmings and shredded same. Job may have taken less time...However it was VERY HOT which required taking proper relief breaks to hydrate and rest because they had to be on ladders a great deal.

Tony was responsive and friendly, gave us a good price and some free advice (identifying volunteer saplings on my property etc.) I cut down oak branches and a small tree, carted away the brush and cleaned up everything beautifully. During his work he stepped on one caladium leaf. That was the extent of the damage! Our yard looked better when he was finished than it had at first, and I was able to photograph my roof for the company the next day.

Tony and his crew arrived on time. All work was done in a safe maner making sure limbs did not damage fence or roof of house. All trimimngs were cleaned up from yard.
