Peninsula Tree Service

I am not happy with the cuts that leave many sprouts growing from the limb stubs which two other arborists told me should have been cut flush with the trunk. I left a message for the company about returning to cut them appropriately, then could not get an answer when I tried twice with about 10 rings each to tell them I found a young man willing to fix this for $30.

I like them a lot. He did a very good job. I thought the estimate was fair. He came when he was supposed to come and he cleaned up. I will have him out to do another job.

No problems, he returned calls and showed when told and did an excellent job.

Small company but very professional work in removing the tree & cleaning up afterward. Less thorough at trimming limbs over the roof, but went back an took off others after I pointed them out.

I had stumps that were sticking up in the front and back of the house and they were removed.

It was the first time I had used them. I got them off of Angie's List. They were very good. Tony, the owner, does the work and does a great job. He's a very nice gentleman. They were very punctual and got the work done by afternoon.

I originally contacted this servicer by optaining a coupon from Angies List. I called and said that I had this coupon and a yard full of overgrowth that needs to all be trimmed back. the work was not completed in one day, but over the course of a week and a half. I was happy with the work but the coupon wasn't accepted with no explaination of refusal. Tony said that his wife "...takes care of all that", and that he would ask his wife about the coupon and call me back. Naturally he didn't.

I'm sorry I can't go into more detail......our son was diagnosed with lymphoma during this time and the past weeks have been a blur....Tony Wiggins was very compassinate .

Well done but a little expensive

Went extremely well. Tony and crew were prompt, courteous, and efficient,. Did the work to our satisfaction and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. I recommend him highly and will use his services in the future.

The company came to my house one day, gave me an estimate and said that they could be back the next day to remove the trees. The following day they arrived early in the afternoon, removed the trees and chipped them into mulch. After the removal and chipping they cleaned my yard, my neighbor's yard and the street of all debris. I highly recommend this company.

Tony came for an estimate as scheduled.I called him and arranged a time to do my 4 oak trees.He arrived on schedule and did the trimming and ground up all the branches and hauled it away.He and his assistant were here for 1.5 days.They made sure I was satisfied with the job,and I was.They cleaned up well before they left.

They stood me up. I travelled 242 miles and took the day off. The whole situation was very frustrating. I called at 9:00 AM as they were supposed to show up at 8:00 AM and they made an excuse about their employee being out. This went on until about 3:00 PM and I just called it off as there was not enough daylight to finish the job.

I called they were busy so they scheduled me a week later however they did the work when they said they would. In addition they called me when they had a question on removing one of the trees and did not just assume what needed to be done. i appreciated the communications for them.

The large oak tree in our front yard was beginning to branch out over the house so I wanted to get it trimmed. As always Tony responded to my call that same day and came out to give me an estimate. He told me that it would be a couple of weeks before he could do the work but I had no problem with that. Needless to say, Tony and his assistant did a great job! Also, they cleaned up everything so well you wouldn't have known they had been there unless you knew how the tree looked before they came out. Tony has done work for me for the past couple of years and I have never been disappointed.

Tony did an unbelievable job. He was very careful of where the bamboo fell since it is heavy and it was in the corner with two neighbor's yards/sheds/etc. close by. While worrying about where the bamboo would land he also had to be extremely careful of not hitting the wires. He cut it all back and cleaned up all the mess...there was not a piece of bamboo on the ground after he left. It was such a great job that I asked him if he felt his estimate was too small - he said no! I was ready to pay him more. We have a lot of palms and other trees - I will definitely be calling him to cut them all back in the Spring.

Tony came and quoted me. I called him. He cut the tree down soon thereafter.

This is the second time we've used Peninsula Tree Service. Tony, the owner, has come through with flying colors on both occasions. His prices are very reasonable as compared to the competition, and his work is good. We will continue to use Peninsula in the future.

I have used Tony three times in the last year, his service is always great and his prices very fair.

The tree removal process was done quickly and efficiently and they cleaned up the yard afterward. No problems at all. Tony's estimate was the lowest we received and he did an excellent job!

We had an out of control camphor tree in our front yard that was in serious need of trimming. We called in three different companies for an estimate, however no one was as responsive, courteous and honest as Peninsula Tree Service. Tony had to reschedule our appointment twice due to horrible storms on each day. We actually were heading out of town the next day and Tony reassured us that he would come out and complete the job. It was wonderful to return home after a two week vacation, and be able to see the front off our house again that had been dwarfed by the enormous camphor tree. We sent our payment to Tony immediately that day. We were so happy with his work and the tree looks just beautiful! What a pleasure it is to work with such an honest and efficient company. We will definitely be using Peninsula Tree Service for our future needs. A+++++++

Tony was right n the money with the estimate, was professional and cleaned up the removal to our satisfaction. We had him take out a couple of trees and cut several more back. Would definitely use again n the future. Thanks for being so professional and punctual and giving our yard a cleaned up look.

Tony quoted me $700 for the tree removal, stump grinding and tree trim and offered a coupon on Angie's List for an additional $25 off. His estimate is very much in line with other services. He even called the city to see if I needed a permit to remove the cedar arborvitae trees (which I did not). He arrived on time and had the five trees down and java plum trimmed within four hours. He cleaned up the trimmings and the area looks like nothing was ever there. The java plum looks so much better. I would highly recommend Tony and his team!
