Peninsula Tree Service

Workers arrived early in the morning as scheduled. Work was neat and trees looked good.

Seen their ad in Angie's list when I was looking a head of time for a company to do some future tree work. Unbeknownst to myself that I would be calling them sooner then I planned. On the morning of Labor Day, I woke up and found a large branch had broken off a tree that sits between my house and the neighbors, luckily it missed my house and their carport by mere inches. So I grabbed my Angie's List booklet and found Peninsula tree service listed with multiple years with good reviews , so I gave them a call and heard back from within the hour. The owner called me back personally and we discussed my situation , and made plans to have him check it out the next morning at 9 am which he arrived a few minutes early. We discussed what I needed done and how much I had to spend, and he left and and came back with his main vehicle and helper, and 2 hrs later he removed the fallen branch and trimmed the tree way back over my house and the neighbors. When he was done all traces of tree debris was removed and cleaned up nicely. I will use them again when I need tree work done again.

Tony and his team are very good. They showed up on time. They called and confirmed. They also cleaned up the trimmed materials and there was no noticeable damage to the fence or my existing landscape. Overall I was very pleased and would use their service again. Thanks, Chris Robinson

Very good service. Received a written estimate and scheduled a time for the work to be done. The dead tree took all day just to cut down because of its size so they came back to grind the stump and trim the other trees. Cleaned up and hauled all the branches and wood away.

Tony responded promptly to my request for an estimation and comparing his to two others, determined I wanted to work with Peninsula. Tony provided knowledge and education on my many questions and helped me determine what best to do to support tree health while providing appropriate shading without burden to the house, yard and pool area. He kept in touch via phone as we got closer to anticipated service date, giving me changes due to weather related delays. On day of service, I ended up having them do more work than had been estimated and was pleased with the fair adjustment in price to do the extra work. Two provided the work and they never stopped from start to finish. They were comfortable in my watching their efforts and being a part of decisions as they worked. They clean up as they work so you could not tell they had been there all day - except for the beautiful new tree canopy and added light to our yard. I would recommend his services and plan to use him annually for smaller maintenance efforts.

The tree grinder was very good.

My experience to them was pretty well, I had use them once before and that's why I had put a Big Deal with them. There were extra charges, actually, I wasn't real satisfied with some of their works so when I discussed that to them before paying them, they told me not to worry about the extra charges, we kinda negotiated that afterwards and that's fine. They were reliable and they did the work that I have asked. I think we had some problems meeting up.

The tree was cut down and the men cleaned up all the branches and tree trunk. We requested that the stump be ground down and they arranged for Randy's Tree Stump Removal Co. to do that job. They charged $85.

Tony is great! He climbs right up and in the tree and gets to work! He is a super service award winner and after seeing him work, I know why! He certainly appreciates repeat business and takes good care of his customers! I highly recommend him.

They did everything and more. The trees look great and the limbs are no longer hanging down over our driveway and roof. After trimming the trees, they cleaned up and raked each area. When they were done there was absolutely no mess on the ground. Other than the trees looking great, you would never know so much work had just gone on in the yard. Very clean and professional. I will recommend Peninsula Tree Service to my friends.

The owner and one helper arrived as scheduled. They worked quickly and efficiently. Afterwards they removed all debris and cleaned up the area well. In addition, they trimmed a very large, overgrown bush away from the house at no extra charge. I was pleased with the results, felt the price was reasonable and would recommend this company.

They do a great job. The staff is very friendly and professional. The pricing is reasonable. I would highly recommend them to others.

Once again Tony did a fantastic job! I have used him previously and he is very consistent with the quality and professionalism of his work. He came on time and did exactly what I wanted and cleaned up the mess. No problems.

I must admit it took a while for him to fit me into his schedule but the cost was reasonable. Very good at cleanup of the debris.

Excellent response! Provided an estimate that was about 1/2 the cost of another service. While Tony said it would be a while until the tree was removed (I did not ask for stump removal), it was gone within a week. No muss, no fuss, no hassles with phone tag. I will definitely use again, and am recommending Peninsula to 2 people who need work done.

I called Ton'y office to reserve a time to have our large oak tree pruned and trimmed. Tony stopped by at the appointed time and examined the tree. He gave an estimate of $300 to remove the dead portion of the oak and then prune the oak tree. He indicated he would return in a couple of weeks to do the work. His schedule was full at that moment. He did return in three weeks while we were away. After arriving home a neighbor told us that Tony had been there to do the work as he promised. He did a fantastic job of removing the dead portion of the tree and then pruning the tree. There was no evidence he had been there. He had cleaned and removed all the debris. The tree looks absolutely beautiful. We plan on using his service again in the fall.

Tony Wiggins, the owner, stopped by my house to assess the situation and provided a written estimate. The work was scheduled for a few days later. Tony and his assistant arrived at the agreed upon time and got the needed work done promptly while working in very hot and humid conditions. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work that was required (I was present throughout the process). The palm trees look great and numerous threatening tree branches have been safely removed. I have used this company in the past, and highly recommend Tony Wiggins.

They are very fair in price and very professional. They were prompt and efficient when working. Tony is very nice and personable! I am using them again this year for tree services.

I have had Tony trim my trees for several years now and he and his crew always do a great job. They are very efficient, and they clean up every bit of debris. In my opinion, his prices are unbeatable. I highly recommend Peninsula Tree Service.

Mr. Wiggins came by the house and gave me an estimate for $350 to trim back the two trees hanging over my house and said he would call in several days to set up the appt. He then called and said he had a cancellation and could be at my house shortly, which was fine with me. The work on both trees was done exactly as described at the time of the estimate and Tony had me inspect the job before submitting the invoice. He did a great job and the clean-up was exceptional. I have owned the home for almost 30 years and this was the bet and most reasonably priced job for trimming I've had done.

They had a very competitive price. They called back quickly. Since they didn't perform the work I'm not sure if I would use them.

Tony was very responsive and was the lowest of three bidders - all were selected from Angie's List and all carried proper insurances. Weather delayed the original schedule date, but Tony kept in close contact and rescheduled our work ASAP. He and his co-worker were on time and completed all work as discussed and were finished on time, in about 12 hours. I would hire Tony and Peninsula again.
