I'm extremely pleased with the service I received from Larry and if I ever need a plumber again I will definitely be calling Garrett Plumbing. I'm usually happy with a company that's rated A on Angie's List and this was no exception! I love soft water in my home and when Larry came to service my system I spent the whole time talking, watching, and learning from him. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and understanding that I wanted to know everything about my water softener so that hopefully it will bring me endless years of service without having any more issues (but if I ever have any more - I know who to call). Larry has 20+ years of experience servicing water softeners and was willing to answer all my questions. Larry even called back that night and made sure the regeneration cycle had completed and everything was functioning properly! Their business cards have "the plumber you'd trust with your house keys" and after the service I received, I really think I would!

I was very pleased with their work. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

They have been a reliable business in this community for decades. They respond very quickly and are available 24 hours a day.

All was flowing well by the time they arrived. They checked all the drains in the house and then worked on the disposal. Works great!

They did a good job on my water heater

They did a lot of plumbing services for our church. We were remodeling and there was a lot of plumbing that needed to be done. They installed new toilets and all that kind of stuff. We had a backed up drain at our church, and they came right out right away and took care of the problem. Just they knew we were in a bad situation on a Sunday morning. Some people are elderly, and can't walk distance, and the closest bathroom was at Winn Dixie in the shopping plaza. They knew we needed help right away.

Work was done efficiently, professionally, and explanation was given for the work

told them on the phone they would have to access under the house. sent a rude, lazy and obnoxious guy that was more interested in getting off work than he was in helping us to solve the issue. said flat out he would not be able to fit under the house (we have a 24" crawl space and you can sit up under the house without hunching over) kept making rude remarks and sexual innuendos punctuated with haha's to show he was "joking". we literally threw him out of the house. when we called the office to complain, we never received a response.

They've done lots of work for us in the past. Every once in a while you get a guy who doesn't know what he is doing, but it's very rare. They're pretty pricey, but we feel like we can rely on them. They always set up an appointment right away.

They did what they were suppose to do. They were here February of 2016.

Our water heater was leaking on Friday and Garrett Plumbing was good enough to come a 7 PM so we would not have to go without hot water all weekend.

..I understood that there would be overtime charges because of weekend and the time of day. I shut the water off to the house and didn't want to wait overnight and try to get someone on a Sunday. The plumber arrived earlier than some of his other scheduled jobs to take advantage of what sunlight remained. He explained that the pvc connection was made incorrectly and that was the cause of the leak. He removed the section of pipe that ran from the service entrance shut-off valve to the pipe that led to my backyard hose bibs. The section he removed contained another valve that shut water off to my backyard. He was installing the new section when I noticed that it didn't contain the valve to shut-off water to my backyard. (I usually have the water shut-off to the backyard except when I need it because I don't want to have to shut off water to the house when repairing leaks in the underground pipes or the hose bibs.) When I questioned the plumber about this, he muttered, "customers!" and went to his truck for a valve which he then installed. My problem with Garrett is that the quality and professionalism you get when you call for service varies with the person who shows up for the job. I've noticed this from past experiences. For that reason, I'm looking for a plumber with consistent quality employees. For this job, I believe the plumber was probably well qualified, but I believe that he should have installed the same type of hardware that he removed (the shut-off valve) before proceeding.

Phoned Garrett, They did work and sent me the invoice. All while I was out of town. It worked out really well!

No complaint. New configuration looks and works.

The plumber had to access the pipe thru the kitchen wall. He cut a hole in the wall and had to saw the iron pipe to gain access to the blockage. We were so glad the repair was complete and clean up was done.

I was dissappinted. Garrett was always my first choice for plumbing needs. I later learned that the terrific family owned company had been sold to the people I called, who were using the same name. But now they're just another unknown company to me, and have to rebuild their reputation before I ever use them again. I think when a family owned company is no longer family owned, been sold, Angie's List subscribers should be updated about that.

I've used Garrett Plumbing for a few years and have always been satisfied with their work. In this job they replaced three toilets, two sinks, and three shower heads in existing bathrooms. The work was completed in one day with one short callback. Then last week I had them come out to repair the handles in my utility sink. Their work is professional and reliable and I will continue to use them for plumbing in my home.

It was very minor work. He replaced the low collar under the sink to fix the leak. My husband provided the screw to complete the job, since he didn't have the part. He was going to charge us to go buy the parts. He was here for an hour and a half. It was a lot of money for a small job. It was a $56 service charge, then $28.60 for each 15 minutes. The replacement part cost $29. He acted like he was doing us a favor by taking off 15 minutes from the time. It was outrageous to be charged that much. He waited in the master bedroom while my husband went to get the screw. I had to wait in the living room. He was nice and polite enough, but it made me feel uncomfortable. I felt that maybe he could have waited in his truck, since he didn't have anything to do. He answered my home phone when my husband called. It was a bit odd.

Service was prompt, plumber was efficient and courteous.

While I didn't think the plumber did the cleanest job installing the shower pan, it passed inspection and I think they fixed the leak just fine. I did want to say that Gary B., the service manager, was top notch the whole way through in how much he tried to help me and how customer service oriented he was. One of the faucets wasn't installed evenly, and he sent a plumber out to fix it immediately. He also took care of all the permitting. He was a pleasure to work with and a real asset to the company.

We had two separate problems, and two separate plumbers. Both arrived when they were scheduled. They were courteous and professional. We were very pleased.

They did an excellent job. I have used Garrett for my plumbing requirements for the 44 years I have lived in St Pete, and have recommended them to everyone who asks me for a good, dependable plumber.

Outside shut off valve was leaking and could not be fix (to old) he replaced it with new valve. Now everything is working great.

The first visit was great. I would give A rating on that one. They installed a utility sink for 175.00 it was done quickly and professionally. The second visit was a big disappointment because they had no idea how to fix the problem and they surmised all kinds of horrible scary scenarios. We called another plumber who fixed the kitchen stoppage for $750 and did not have to tear up our entire floor as Garrett suggested. So I think if you have a basic easy plumbing issue call them. Hard stuff call someone else.
