Drew took the time to answer my questions and give me additional information I needed for our flat roof area. Previous work and materials (not Drew's) did not have the correct material and so it cracked and peeled. Drew's workers were polite and professional and cleaned up everything. Drew had the knowledge of his trade and for me that meant not wasting more money and time and as a fact, his price was much more reasonable. Eventually I'll have other roof area work to do and I will definitely be calling Drew.

I OBTAINED 3 ESTIMATES FOR THIS JOB. I IMMEDIATELY LIKED THE PROFESSIONALISM AND POLITENESS OF THE OWNER, DREW. WHEN ASKED, HE ASSURED ME THAT HIS CREW WERE HIS PERMANENT EMPLOYEES AND NOT "DAY LABORERS". HIS QUOTE WAS HIGHER THAN THE OTHER COMPANY I WAS CONSIDERING, BUT I LIKED DREW BETTER AS A PERSON. WHEN I CALLED HIM TO ASK IF HE COULD MEET THE PRICE OF A COMPETITOR, HE WAS OPEN TO NEGOTIATION, SO I HIRED HIM. I REQUESTED A COPY OF HIS INSURANCE BEFORE HE STARTED THE JOB, AND HE COMPLIED WITHOUT HESITATION. A HIGH CHANCE OF RAIN WAS FORECAST FOR THE DAY HE WANTED TO START MY JOB, AND HE WAS VERY UNDERSTANDING WHEN I CALLED HIM THE NIGHT BEFORE TO TELL HIM I WAS NERVOUS ABOUT THE WEATHER. IT IMPRESSED ME THAT IT WAS MORE IMPORTANT TO HIM TO BE SURE I WAS MADE TO FEEL COMFORTABLE THAN TO START THE JOB WHEN HE WOULD HAVE PREFERRED! IT WAS A 2-DAY JOB AND DREW'S EMPLOYEES WERE POLITE AND RESPECTFUL. THE MEN WORKED WITHOUT STOPPING, EXCEPT FOR THEIR BREAKS. AFTER THE FIRST DAY, THE MEN COMPLETELY CLEANED UP THE SITE, INSTEAD OF LEAVING TRASH UNTIL THE END OF THE JOB. (I WISH ALL CONTRACTORS UNDERSTOOD THE IMPORTANCE OF CLEANING UP THE SITE EACH DAY! TO ME, IT SHOWS RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER'S PROPERTY). THERE WAS JUST ONE THING I SAW THE MEN DO THAT I DIDN'T THINK WAS A CAREFUL PRACTICE: THEY TOSSED THEIR SHOVELS ONTO AND OFF OF THE ROOF INSTEAD OF CARRYING THEM. ONE MAN TOSSED A SHOVEL UP AND IT STARTED TO SLIDE OFF, BUT LUCKILY STOPPED; IT WOULD HAVE HIT MY BIRD BATH. ANOTHER MAN TOSSED A SHOVEL DOWN AND IT BOUNCED AND HIT MY FENCE. THAT POPPED A SLAT OFF, BUT IT WAS IMMEDIATELY REPAIRED THE NEXT DAY WITH PROFUSE APOLOGIES. (HOWEVER, "AN OUNCE OF PREVENTION IS WORTH A POUND OF CURE"). THE ONLY AREA I SAW A NEED FOR IMPROVEMENT, AND THIS APPLIES TO ALL ROOFERS, IS FIND A WAY TO PREVENT THE ROOFING NAILS FROM BEING LEFT BEHIND ALL AROUND THE HOUSE. THE MAGNET DRAGGED AROUND AFTERWARDS IS MOSTLY INEFFECTIVE, BUT MIGHT WORK BETTER IF DRAGGED FOR NO LESS THAN 30 MINUTES. I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT TARPS OR DROP CLOTHS ON THE SITE MIGHT WORK FOR THE NAILS TO FALL ONTO. IT'S JUST A SUGGESTION AND IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN TRIED ALREADY. I'M STILL FINDING NAILS, BUT I WAS WARNED THAT WOULD BE THE CASE. WHEN DREW CAME OVER TO COLLECT PAYMENT, I ASKED HIM TO PLEASE REMOVE A FEW PLASTIC BITS THAT I COULD SEE HIS MEN LEFT ON THE ROOF. I WAS GETTING MY HOUSE PAINTED AT THE TIME, AND I ALSO ASKED HIM WHILE HE WAS UP THERE TO CHECK ON SOME VISIBLE DEBRIS THE PAINTERS LEFT ON MY PORCH ROOF. I WAS CONCERNED THAT THIS DEBRIS WAS STEPPED ON AND GROUND INTO MY NEW ROOF. DREW SAID IF I HAD A BLOWER, HE WOULD BE HAPPY TO BLOW OFF WHAT WAS ONLY PAINT CHIPS. HE EVEN TRIED TO REMOVE SOME PLASTIC BITS THE PAINTERS HAD LEFT STAPLED ON THE FASCIA, BUT THE EMBARRASSED PAINTER TOLD DREW TO LEAVE IT, THAT HE WOULD GET IT. BEFORE DREW LEFT I THANKED HIM AND TOLD HIM IT WAS A PLEASURE DOING BUSINESS WITH HIM. I MEANT IT. I WISH I COULD SAY THAT ABOUT MY PAINT JOB!

Drew, the owner, returned my call immediately and set up a time for my free estimate within a day. I found him to be a pleasant person?well-spoken and very professional. I noticed that the pickup he arrived in was immaculately maintained and I recognized another person who was a perfectionist like myself. I obtained three estimates and chose Drew because his was between the highest and lowest bid?which I found to best reflect current market conditions. He left me with a professionally compiled folder and was the only roofer who included a pamphlet on educating the consumer on how to select a roofer. The crew was in and out in the same day. They were extremely well mannered and very attentive to any questions I had during the process. They were very thorough in their cleanup and my house looks beautiful. There was a hard rain this weekend and everything is perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend Drew?s company.

He did a very good job and the price is very reasonable. They were very punctual. He comes when he says he will and does what he says he is going to do.

We were under a considerable time crunch to get someone in for a quote on some roof repairs, so it was especially nice that Drew Roofing fit us in so quickly. After his arrival at the site, he gave the roof a thorough review. He was professional in giving me a rough idea of the issues and was great at emailing me a copy of the quote within 24 hours. He did run late to the appointment, but did call to let me know which I much appreciated. The quote was reasonable and I will definitely be using Drew Roofing for future repairs.

Drew did excellent work fixing a leak and preventing others. He saved us from replacing the entire roof. He is knowledgeable and honest and when we do need a new roof, we will call him.

Flat roof over back room was leaking severely when it rained very hard. Found Drew roofing on Angie's list and called to set up estimate. Very friendly and professional. Gave us the estimate and explained that would take a few weeks after we signed the contract and had forms notarized and returned to him before he could do the work. Delay was for him to obtain the necessary permits and schedule us. His crew did the roof repairs one day and had to return to replace the wood etc on the back porch another day because they wanted to locate wood that would match the existing porch ceiling. Everything was done well..looks good...no longer leaks. They left everything neat and clean. He billed us and we sent a check. Very easy to work with and will recommend Drew roofing to others.

Tile was delivered early am with a crew arriving a short time later. We left for the day, but everything was finished same day. All work areas had been cleaned and the roof with venting was complete per our request. Billing was prompt ( 5-12).

We thought we had a problem with our roof that was installed by another company. Called Drew Roofing to get information -we were promptly contacted by Drew Company who was extremely helpful in telling us what to do about the issue. He knew he was not getting business from us (at this time, anyway) but he spent a good deal of time on the phone answering questions and making suggestions. Great company!!!! Very helpful!!

I had roof damage from a storm. Drew came out to give me the estimate right away. This is the 3rd time I have used Drew. He is so polite and knowledgeable and gets the work done efficiently and quickly. I am very impressed with Drew and I have referred him to my friends.

I called Drew Roofing approximately 4 days in advance to arrange an estimate for our flat roof. I took part of the day off work to be at the house. I called twice on the day Drew Roofing was supposed to come out. They did not show up, nor did they return my phone calls. As of this day, I still have not heard back from them.

He is knowledgeable and does exactly what he says he will do. He was excellent in finding where our roof leaked and fixing it!

My husband called three different companies and we got the work completed through Drew roofing. We got them off from Angie's list. They were good. The kid that actually did the job was great. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very responsive and came right away when I called them to take a look at it. I was rushed I had to get this repair done before somebody else was coming in to do some work. They did the work on schedule and budget. There were some parts that they were able to cover it with some creative solutions and got it done right. It was a pretty small job just for two or three hours.

I got Drew's info from Angies list. I got 3 estimates for this job. Drews was lowest....but I mainly selected him as this was a specialty job and I felt very confident that his workers could do the job. The workers were knowledgable and professional. They were on time and they did a good job. I was happy with them.

They did the job, but had to be called back to fix the sloppy paint job around the fascia board. Then, following the next heavy rain storm, had water coming down the wall underneath the floor boards, so the leak was worse than before the repair. Called Drew to come back and take a look at it, since there is supposed to be a 1 year warranty. He looked at the roof over the area of the leak and said the membrane was cracked. I was somewhat dismayed since this is one of the areas I thought he had checked before the repair. He stated that it would probably cost another $1000 to make another repair, that it might be better to get the roof replaced. After just recently sinking $820 into a repair that clearly did not work, I was not pleased with this assessment. I told him to give me a quote for a re-roof but he never called back. I called him again to let him know that he or his team had left a big piece of plywood on the side of my house and needed to pick it up. He never came by or called. I recently noticed that the last time he was out to check the leak he had removed some concrete tiles from my roof and left them on the side of my house without telling me that he had pulled them from my roof. So now my roof is without the tiles. I am very displeased with this roofing company.

Drew found and fixed a few leaks we had in the roof that other roofing companies were unable to detect, muchless fix. A couple of companies said we NEEDED a new roof. Drew thoroughly inspected our roof, determined that the roof was poorly constructed. The installers countersunk the nails, which are now becoming a problem. He is not pushy. He told us a new roof was in our future, but never gave us the hard sell. He is honest, professional, A master of his craft, on time, friendly,. All around Drew is a true pro, and we all know how hard that is to find.

Was able to come out to look at problem well before some others I called so able to get the problem handled much quicker. Didn't let me know when they were actually going to make the repair and the person who preformed the work didn't have a card to leave at the door to let me know they had already been there and done the work. But since they did the work within 2 days of estimating the problem I really can't complain about the result and the timeliness so worked out great. Have had rain and no leaks so good so far.

Drew came out when called and he fixed the roof leak. Excellent service. I will definitely use him again

We called several roofers. Some we had to leave messages, as we did with Drew. Several did not respond, those that did were late (or didn't show). Drew responded, and showed up exactly when he said he would. He quickly identified our leak, and was able to fix it. He then shored up several other areas that would have become problems. Obviously, we have to wait till it rains to see if the fix works. But he was friendly, punctual and professional and should the fix work we would definitely use him again.

The contractor called in advance to let me know he couldn't make the original appointment, but was very accomodating with a reschedule. (He came out on Saturday.) After about 15 minutes, he gave me a full estimate. The repair was performed when scheduled, quicker than I expected. The roofer came while I was at work and left no trace that he had ever been there. (I had to wait until the next heavy rain to verify that the work had even been done.) I was very pleased with the minimum impact to our schedule, the care taken by the roofer, and the prompt, professional attention by the contractor.

Drew Gribnitz, owner/operator and chief trouble shooter, came out to the house when scheduled to give me an estimate. My house has a Boston Hip roof configuration and is covered with cement tiles. To complicate things, in the area over the garage where the roof was leaking, two of the gabled ends at right angles to each other came together to form a valley. To make sure he knew how the roof was configured under the tile, he didn't hesitate, he climbed up in the overhead to have a look. This is in Florida around noon time. Then after he got down he climbed up on the roof to see how the valley flashing was returned to the roof membrane. This required that he remove at least a half dozen tiles temporarily. I've had roofing repair estimates before, but nothing this thorough. That plus numerous A grade reports from Angie's List made up my mind. He had the job when he got down from the roof. Drew assigned the repair work to Art, a very polite, friendly young man who turned out to be a very hard worker. He also had to climb up in the overhead to help spot the exact location of what turned out to be multiple leaks. I was glad to apply the hose to the roof to assist. Art spent a number of hours on the job before all the leaks were taken care of. During the process Drew came by to check the work and make sure all leaks were repaired. At the end of the job, Art cleaned up all the tile and regrouting that had to be done, then primed and repainted the surfaces with the roof paint I had left over from the roof repainting I had done last year. When they were done, I had a warm feeling the roof was repaired. We have had several downpours since that reinforce that feeling.

Short version: Drew is Quick, Competent, and Honest. Topnotch contractor - I wish all my contractor experiences were as rock-solid Long Version: I contacted 3 roofers from Angies List. Chose Drew on the following 1) willingness to customize his agreement to my needs (my roof is 50-years old, and had some special requirements); 2) price was inline with the what the others were charging. Drew exceeded my expectations. He did everything promised, had zero extra charges, and came back to do a quick repair when notified. Two neighbors also used him as a result of my experience, one in particular said "Drew did a quick repair on the spot where other roofers wanted $700 for a full repair."

Excellent - Drew Roofing was very responsive. They returned my call promptly and were over to the house in 20 minutes. They spent an hour going over the roof, looking for possible openings. They lifted several rows of shingles from the suspect area to the peak, installing roofing caulk and repairing suspect nail holes. They also fixed two bulges in the roof that they found during their survey. The bill was $150 which seemed reasonable but then much to my surprise they said, "don't pay now, let's see if this fixes the problem". We had heavy rains over the weekend and no leaks. Their check is in the mail!

Drew responded promptly to my request for proposal, and he completed the job the following day.
