I will say Drew is a very nice guy. I still have 2 more roofers coming to give estimates, so haven't decided yet who is going to reroof my home, but it is not going to be Drew. Drew was the third roofer to give me an estimate. The first two quoted me prices for 50 year shingles, and replacing the flat roof material. Both of those estimates were within $100 of each other. Drew's estimate was for 25 year shingles, moping hot tar on the flat section, and was $2,400 higher than the lowest estimate so far. This is using cheaper shingles, using tar instead of replacing the flat section, and works out to a nearly 25% higher quote than I have gotten so far.

Drew was referred to me by a realtor friend who had other customers use him. Drew was prompt and seemed very honest. I could not even get return phone calls back from other roofers when calling around for quotes, but he called me back quickly. His office staff even called me to say that he would be calling me. It did take two weeks for him to come for an estimate, but after Tropical Storm Debby all the roofers were slammed with business so it was expected, and he did tell me it would take that long. He was on time for the estimate (in fact he was early) and explained the problem to me. It was just what I thought it might be so I was not surprised. He gave me a quote right away and after thinking about it that day I faxed him the signed agreement. It did take a week or so longer than expected for them to fit me in, but his workers showed up EXACTLY on time. I asked them to show me the rotted plywood and they brought it down and showed it to me. It seemed like they got the job done really fast. The only I would say negative is that I did not know they were even done as they did not move the furniture back in place when they were finished. I got an invoice in the mail and called to make payment. I talked to Drew and told him I was surprised how quickly they got the job done when it was so expensive. I also mentioned that I found him on Angie's List and would like the 5% discount. I also said I thought the price was a little high for such a quick job. So instead of the Angie's List discount he actually took $100 off the bill, which was a pleasant surprise. Let me also add that I did get a second Angie's List roofer who was also highly recommended that had come out and gave me a price and solution almost exactly as Drew's quote was. I cannot say for sure that the leak is fixed as we have not had any hard rain.. but I sure am hoping it is.

It seems like we are not the only ones who have had very positive experiences with Drew Roofing. On both occasions when Drew repaired our roof he was prompt, professional, and respectful of our property. He never deviated from his estimates and always arranged for a follow-up to make sure the repairs were working. We highly recommend him.

We recently bought our house (knowing a new roof was needed within a year) in Historic St. Petersburg. However, Tropical Storm Debby hit the day we moved in which resulted in major leaks in the doorway, living room, and bathroom. Drew came out the same day I called to provide us with an estimate. Our pitch of our roof is very steep (9 or 10) and other roof companies refused to work on our roof. Drew informed us that it would be no problem working on our roof and provided us with an estimate we thought was reasonable considering the removal of two layers of old shingles, the removal of the chimney, and the extreme pitch of the roof. In addition, the estimate included peel and stick waterproofing material and the installation of Ultra HD shingles. Drew provided us with samples and color options and coordinated with a general contractor who would be installing hurricane clips and braces. During the roof replacement process, Drew sent two employees to tarp our roof while we were waiting for the work to begin in order to minimize the internal house damage. During the process, debris from the yard was continuously removed. Drew and his employees were extremely responsive to all questions/requests and professional throughout this process. In addition, they worked well with the general contractor and coordinated the installation of the roof with his schedule to install the hurricane clips and braces. Photos were taken throughout the process to complete the Wind Mitigation Form for our insurance company. The roof installation on our steep pitch was done by Drew's long time employee -Matt. We can only express our greatest gratitude for a job well done. Overall, the roof looks wonderful and we would highly recommend Drew Roofing to anyone who has a need for a roof repair or replacement.

It was perfect. they responded when they said they would. They kept in touch. They fixed a simple problem and the price was reasonable.

We have used Drew's services in the past to patch a couple leaks. He has always been polite and courteous. This time, we wanted a complete roof replacement. Drew showed us a bunch of different options, including energy efficient shingles (which we chose). Drew also gave us a lifetime warranty on material and labor. A few days after signing the contract, Drew called and asked if we were OK for him to start the next day. His crew was there the next morning and done drying in my roof by 2:00. They were again prompt the next morning and had the roof finished before we got home from work. The next weekend, we got a direct hit by Tropical Storm Deby. I couldn't find any leaks! And the roof looks great! We would definitely recommend Drew to anyone in need of roof repair.

I called twice and left a message on their voicemail to call me back to schedule an appointment. I never recieved a response, even to tell me they couldn't do the work.

The day before we left for 3wks we discovered a leak in the flat roof over the lanai. My husband attempted a quick patch over what he thought might be the leak. Meanwhile I called Drew Roofing and told him the problem. He said he would come out while we were away check it out and give us a price. He was on top of everything very quickly with emails, long distance calls, and faxes to our realty company. Things were set up very quickly and the problem taken care of dispite all the rain in the area. We had to trust in his decisions and that is not an easy thing for us with so many poor roofing companies in the area. We trusted in Angie's list & in Drew and they did not disappoint. When the inspector came we were home and he said we had a good roof with no standing water and we just went thru Debbie. He is our roofer for life.

For years, our small screened porch with an insulated aluminum room has leaked. The original owner of this townhome, I had complained repeatedly to the subdivision's builder, who improperly repaired the leak with caulking--three times.This never solved the problem; it just reduced it. Recently, while gardening in the back yard, my husband also noticed a small gap between the aluminum roof and the townhome wall next door. Somehow, mice were now accessing the interior of the aluminum roof through this gap and pushing out bits of the insulation. We now knew we had a problem that had to be solved immediately. I called several roofing companies from Angie's list who did not want to do the job because they thought it was too small. One suggested hiring a handyman. Most handymen, however, specify they do not do roofs; besides, I wanted the expertise of someone who regularly does roofs. Drew of Drew Roofing immediately saw the solution. He proposed installing aluminum flashing all around the edges and sealing the hole at the side of the house. Professional and courteous, he gave us an estimate on the same day he visited the house. We agreed on a future date. The work was done only one day later than promised, but this was not the company's fault. It rained all day on the day the crew was supposed to repair the roof. They finished in less than one day and cleaned up their lumber, metal and other materials. I would definitely recommend Drew Roofing to others.

He gave me the best price and the best price and completed the work quickly with no scraps left behind. I am very happy.

all we can say is great , easy, very happy with the start to finish. This company knows what they are doing. When the roof was finished they took rags and wiped all the new flashing and fascia off and cleaned all around the property. Citizens Insurance required new roof and Drew Roofing sailed along. The job was started and finished when we were told it would be. We would always tell others to call Drew.

I called them on a monday, scott from drew roofing came out on tuesday, and gave me an estimate. Since it was not'not an emergency type of leak we decided to put the date on the week I would be back from vacation. He called me the second day I was back, and we set up the time. His crew of two men came out and knocked on my door to let me know that theywould be up on the roof. He said they would send me the invoice later.

I used Angie's List to look for roofers and got estimates from 6 who looked good. Drew came in slightly higher, but gave such a detailed and specific estimate that I felt very comforable hiring him. A handyman friend, who reviewed all the estimates with me, agreed. The work was was completed in the time promised. The new roof looks great. When I recently discovered that the insurance company had not recieved his report, I e-mailed Drew and he took care of it right away.

I was embarrased to call someone to patch my roof and not replace the whole roof. Drew understood knowing the current economy and did what was required. I feel 100% confident in calling him next year when the whole roof will be replaced.

I was so hesitant to call anybody to fix my roof, but having faith in Angie's List I called Drew Roofing. What a pleasant surprise when Drew answered my call . As our conversation progressed I felt immediately that I had made the right call. We agreed on a date for the initial estimate and Drew arrived promptly ..even called me to say he was on the way..After inspecting my roof for the problem I had he gave me a very fair price and said to call him...no pressure to sign immediately, however I told him right then that he had the job. Within a few days the work was started and since I work I never saw the Drew Crew and was not even aware the work had been completed until I received my invoice in the mail...Once again no pressure to pay, no down payment..Just a wonderful experience from a truly honest and reliable man. Drew did an excellent job removing the old solar panel, replacing the wood, then replacing the tiles. Then the roofers worked on the two flat roofs that needed to be replaced. One was on the front of the house and the other was over the lanai. They showed up on time and completed the job promptly. They did an excellent job of cleaning up all the debris. We were putting the house on the market in the Spring and needed to get the roofs replaced. After a heavy rain I noticed a small leak in one of the flat roofs and called to ask Drew to check it out. He came by and did a water test to check for the leak. He figured out where it was and fixed it. He definitely is good at determining where the leaks are coming from. I also had another leak on the back flat roof that apparently was coming from another section that fed onto the flat roof. Drew again returned and fixed the valley. Drew is a true professional who makes sure that the customer is happy. He came back to fix the leaks without hesitation. We even offered to pay him for his time and he refused to accept anything. I would definitely recommend Drew Roofing.

Drew has been coming over for the past three years, fixing leaks and was very successful at this. He never once put pressure on us to get a new roof. He understood our situation and always came over with a smile and was very professional. The day finally came that we were ready for a new roof. Drew used the original quote he gave me and was very open when I drilled him with all sorts of questions. I was so burned by so many dishonest people, I wanted to make sure I was getting quality. Well, the guys on his team were great and in two days, we had a new roof. I loved how cheerful and hardworking the crew were and very polite. They cleaned up after themselves and I even noticed some caulking done around the window and some covers on the gutters. They went way beyond what I had expected. As a business owner myself, I understand that cheapest is not the best so I was happy to pay the amount owed.

We started on a week that was supposed to be rainy but it needed to be done. Drew assured me that all would be fine. I trusted him and I have had no complaints at all. His final product looks great on my home.

Drew's crew stripped the old materials off on Day one, and reroofed on Day 2. Same crew each day, no subs were used. The roof is a gable end, 1 story, covering approximately 1400 sq ft of area. 30 year GAF dimensional shingles used. Ridge vent installed on entire roof. Price for the basic roof and all flashing came in around $6,580. The old roof and decking was really bad, 100% of deck was replaced, accounting for the difference between the total and the actual roof estimate. Part of the difference was also replacement of leaky bubble skylight with a tempered glass skylight. His experienced crew was able to deal with many quirky things on our roof without any issues.2 things in particular stood out, they needed to redesign and install a new transition structure with flashing from the roof on the front half of the house(covers a vaulted ceiling inside) to the roof covering the rear half of the house. They also had to deal with the most unusual stucco and fascia installation that they had ever seen (house built in 1946), and dealt with that too. Each time these things came up, the foreman would contact Drew, the talk to me, explain what the issue was, and present options for the remediation. The crew was efficient, courteous, respectful of my neighbors, and cleaned up non-stop during the day. Drew was most responsive, and was able to adjust his original estimate that was provided to me in May 2010 for the work commenced in NOV 2011. I was impressed he still had the estimate in his office. The basic price increased only $300.00 from the original. He then got us on his schedule asap as to avoid a lapse of insurance coverage. Drew handled communications and documentation with our local agent to insure our coverage was not dropped. Drew stopped by the first morning of work, and then followed up after work was completed to meet with me and find out how things were. I recommend Drew Roofing for any homeowners in Pinellas county who need fast and professional roofing service at a fair price. Drew of Drew Roofing came and talked to me about a new roof. While giving me his pitch, he said that my new roof would qualify for a discount on my homeowners insurance. We hired him and the job was completed and paid for but I had not received any of the paperwork needed for the insurance discount (wind mitigation form, photos etc) to submit to my insurance comapny. After a few messages about this, I finally got a return call and Drew came out, took photos of the work done. He was supposed to submit the photos he took, along with the completed paperwork to my insurance company. They never received them so I called him back to ask why they hadn't been sent. He claimed he never received the insurance company's address that I had emailed him so I sent it again. A few months later, I contacted my insurance company and they said they still had not received the form and photos. I called and left several messages/sent email asking him to just send the photos and form directly to ME so I could give it to the insurance company myself. I never heard back from him and he never replied to my emails so I never got the insurance discount. I can only surmise from Drew's remarkable lack of communication that maybe the supposed insurance discount he said I would be entitled to was nothing but a sales tactic. What other reason would he have for not sending the paperwork after I asked him several times and then not responding to my numerous messages/emails asking him to please send me the paperwork? This was really disappointing to me because I've always had good luck with companies I've found through Angie's List.
