When I signed up for the special with Angies I noted that this was a second story home.The inspector came and did not get the information that he needed a long ladder so had to reschedule. A crew of 2 came and did the inspection when no one was home. They contacted us with an estimate which we accepted.

Not very well. The day after they installed the roof it leaked. I got an inspector to come out and it turns out everything wasn't done to code. They were supposed to replace rot in the roof and didn't do it, and they used bent nails instead of screws. They also used one inch boards for extending the roof rafters and the code says two inch. They rushed through it in a day and didn't take their time at all. I'm not sure if the bad work is from the workers or management but I wasn't pleased at all with the quality of work. Management treated me well and I don't know if they are aware that the workers are doing illegal work. They should know what their workers are doing, but I don't want to blame them if they don't know. I contacted them the next day and let them know the work wasn't up to code. They were out within one more day to fix it. It's fixed according to code now so there is no problem here at the moment.

I was kind of disappointed. I'm not really sure what they tuned up. I believe they just inspected it. They were supposed to make some minor repairs. They were also 3 hours late getting out here. Also, it was an hour and a half before they even called and told me they were going be late.

The repair has held up, no roof leak but i was surprised with the few hundred dollars added to the bill. From the way they were talking, it sounded like a small amount, so I was surprised with the final bill. **UPDATE 4/30/2015*** It seemed like they did everything correctly at the beginning but I later found [after the leak repair did not hold up] that the work they did should not have been authorized according to building code. In other words, I was still charged $2,450 for work that should never have been done in the first place. They should have been honest with me instead of performing work they were not authorized to do.

I guess there was some confusion on my part as to what exactly they were going to do for the fee they charged. When I read that they would repair any nail pop ups I thought they would repair the valley flashing that was pulling up on the bottom edge of the roof where the nails had pulled out. I guess the only repairs that were included in the price was for any nails that came up through the shingles. Since I have an older roof that was installed using stapes there weren't any nail pop ups to repair. So ultimately I ended up paying for an estimate to repair other issues with my roof that most companies would do for no charge.

Drew Roofing did an excellent job and explained to me about warranties, state certifications, and roof mistakes that were made. They were very professional and did a great job!

The bill was not clear nor was the contractor on what I paid for and what I received as part if the big deal coupon. Owner and foreman provided two different quotes for what was included. In the end their overall price was acceptable, but confusing.

They responded with a visit and a resolution the same day that I contacted them (the only one that did, of the three roofer companies I called). They provided expert service and were very reasonably priced. I am very happy with them. They will be the first ones I call if/when I need a new roof.

Had a water leak coming down through first floor kitchen ceiling. Problem started out small but grew bigger over 9 months. Went through two other roofers who had no idea where the leak was coming from. Finally found Drew Roofing through Angies List. Drew came out several times, including weekends, right after heavy rains to ID the leak source. He even came out to work with former contractors who renovated the home to attempt a team approach to solve this daunting leak. Though Drew's team did not solve the leak on the first attempted fix they came out immediately when informed that the leak was back. Drew worked closely with me over the coming weeks to conduct tests to finally isolate the cause and fix this most pesky and hard to ID leak! He was a class act never losing his cool or even asking for payment until the problem was solved to my satisfaction. In the world of sometimes less than reputable Florida contractors Drew is honest, trustworthy and qood to his word. I will only use him in the future for roofing needs!

Everything was done in a timely fashion. There was one section missed, and when I notified Drew of the issue, he had men take care of the missed area that day.

Drew gave us two estimates for our leaky roof. One for just repairs and one for a new roof. He was prompt, honest, professional and very nice and knowledgeable. We will think of him when we decide to redo our roof in 2-3 years.

It has been very good so far. It hasn't leaked yet. The service was pretty good. They were good on timing. They lowered the price, so they gave me a pretty good price. They did do a very good job. They might be a little bit high in the price line. But most of the time you find people who does a good job, are a bit more pricey.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon. The service was good. I called on Friday to tell them my roof was leaking and they were out today.

when selling my house, an inspection showed a few nails coming through the wood under the eaves. Although this did not affect the quality of the attachment to the roof, the prospective buyer felt it should be addressed. Drew assured me it was cosmetic in nature but nevertheless quickly sent a crew over to look at it. They ground down all the nails and caulked the entire area. It looks great. Anyone can sell you a roof, but it's follow-up like this that is exemplary. Drew also reminded me that within the first five years if my house is sold, the warranty is transferable to the new owner, a huge selling point. I can't say enough good things about this company and recommend them to everyone who needs roof work done.

We bought a Big Deal offer for a roof inspection. We recently bought this house, and the home inspector suggested we have the roof inspected and have a few of the cracked tiles fixed. The tile roof is about 9 years old, so all that was needed is a "tune-up.' Drew Roofing came out to inspect the roof, and took the time to do a thorough job. A few minor repairs were recommended, and we scheduled the appointment to do the work. They showed up on time and did the work. We would certainly use them again.

I was very impressed with the workmanship.

Job was completed over two days.

I had several companies come out, told them all the same thing no bells or whistles. I just need to know if the roof can be repaired or does it need to be replaced because I need a 4 point inspection for insurance. It is my parents house and they are on a fixed income. Drew was the ONLY company that did not try to oversell me. Telling me, they should do this or that. I had some said replace, some said repair with "extras". Drew did a wonderful job, quickly & cost effective. After all this rain we've had lately, my parents are high and dry! Passed inspection, no questions asked!

Drew Roofing inspected my roof. They told me what needed to be repaired and explained the repairs thoroughly. We scheduled a time and three days later, my roof was repaired before the rainy season. They did not over sell or tell me I needed a new roof. Very honest and hard working. I will use them when I need a new roof which, hopefully, based on Drew Roofing's estimate won't be for a few years!

We are very pleased with them, they even came back out to fix a small problem later. We have had no leaks.

Our skylight was leaking so we needed the metal roof fixed. I asked them for a quote to replace the lights in the metal roof. They came out and spent 30 minutes here and said they have a construction person to look at the deck flooring and nobody ever got with us for over a week. They didn't want to do anything to the roof until they found out what there construction guy thought. I was left a voicemail last monday that said they were 2 1/2 to 3 months out on our roofing projects and we dont think we can get you in. If they didnt want to do the job they should've told us on the front end. I would not recommend them for anything. The intial response was good but the follow through was bad.

The day after I purchased the Angie's List special, Drew Roofing contacted me. I was glad they did & they came a few days later and on a Saturday (very important since I'm in Tampa all week) and we did a full walk thru. They performed some basic corrections to save me from having to replace my roof any time soon. I highly recommend them as they are very professional & courteous.

Dino, of Drew Roofing, got on my roof and said it was in good shape and that there were only a couple minor repairs that needed to be done, which he took care of. I also wanted a quote from Drew Roofing to repair the leaking in the aluminum roof over my back covered lanai. However, he said they were not licensed to work on aluminum coverings/roofs such as mine, so he gave me the names of a couple companies that did that type of work and whom he felt were honest. However, before leaving, he took a look on top of that aluminum lanai roof and told me a relatively simple fix for the problem that he thought I might be able to do myself, rather than having to hire a company -- thus saving me some money. Dino was very helpful, and when he gave me the names of those two companies, who he felt were honest companies, that led me to believe that Drew Roofing believes in honesty, so I will keep them in mind for any future roofing problems that I might have.
