Abston Installations Inc.

During the last conversation Nov 2017) we had with Mark Abston, he gave us three available dates for installation. We called him back (twice) and left a messages advising him of which date was best for us. We never heard from him again. A few days later we got a call from Installation Made Easy asking how the job went. We described to them what transpired and they apologized. They then reached out to Mark and asked for his version of what happened and he told Installation Made Easy that he could not accommodate our time frame. So, on one hand he gave us date options then dropped all contact, then on the other hand he told Installation Made Easy that he could not accommodate us. Why wouldn't he just simply tell us he could not accommodate us? Instead, he told two different stories. I will state for the record that someone is lying, and it is not me. We did have the work done with another contractor from Angie's List within our time frame and price was $458.22 less. We also did a review on the other flooring contractor (Sweet Home Improvements, LLC-Janos Kovacs) and now have an OUTSTANDING contractor for our future carpentry needs. If you want a contractor that does not lie to you, you might want to look elsewhere.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE OVERALL. He did an ok job with installing the wood (although he used too much cement to level), and when we called him to set a date for installing the carpet, he told us he would be there to install it on Saturday, Nov 12. We called the day before to confirm, and he did not respond. We called repeatedly on Nov 12 (since we had scheduled our weekend around it) and he did not return our calls. When I tried to call and text him the following week, he had my phone number blocked so my messages would no go through. I called using a different line, but only got his voicemail. My husband called him, and he was extremely unprofessional and hung up on him. We now have to pay another installer $400 to install the carpet. I would steer clear of Mark Abston, as he charges way more than necessary (we've since learned) and obviously doesn't follow through on commitments outlined in his contracts.

It was an amazing experience. I honestly don't know what I would have done if I wouldn't have found them. They even helped me find the materials, it was a completely full service. I would 150% recommend them. I usually don't leave reviews but this was an exceptional job and I felt compelled to leave a review to let people know that this is a very good company to deal with. They were on time if not early. It was seamless, it was like I had to do nothing. It was so easy and stress free.
