Darrell and his wife did a great job today on our home inspection. I'm basically going to repeat what the other reviewers have said here. They were very thorough, answered any questions we had, and were very good at explaining the problems. The best part is the report they upload online. It is very detailed and even gives you estimates of how much it will cost to repair an issue. I was very impressed by this. Darrell even pointed out things that I wouldn't have considered a problem, but I'm happy he did. They might be a tad more expensive than someone else, but if you want to make sure you are getting someone knowledgeable and thorough, spend the extra money for them. And because I'm an Angie's List member, I got $25.00 off! They are very nice people too, you can tell he and his wife love working together. I would recommend them to everyone.

We couldn't have asked for a better home inspection. They arrived before anyone else and were the last to leave. They were extremely thorough, checking every nook and cranny in the house. We were walked through the house afterwards and everything was explained in detail. We didn't have to take notes because we got a detailed report with pictures! Darrell was very polite and patient answering all the questions we had. He also checked up on us afterwards to make sure we didn't need anything else. If I ever need another inspection he will be the one I call!

They did very well. It was an outstanding experience. They did a good job. They came right out and provided a good report, which was good. I was just happy with them. They were very thorough and quite knowledgeable. They really did a good job. They were fairly priced. They came right out the next day and did the job.

It was simple, easy, and convenient.

They showed up and did the complete inspection alone. Then they invited us to do a walk-through with them and explained everything. Within a few hours they sent us a link to the inspection report.

We were fortunate to book Darrell with very short notice after Oklahoma Inspection Services cancelled last minute (without explanation); now I wish we would have booked with him in the first place! Darrell is very thorough and professional; he was kind to spend time on the phone with my fiance answering questions and offering advice even before we scheduled him. On the day of inspection he took his time examining every area of the house and didn't seem to rush anything. He walked us through all his findings that morning, and just a day or two later we were also given a detailed, 60-something page report with pictures, recommendations, requirements. He didn't hesitate to acknowledge when an concern or area is beyond the scope of his expertise; and made one or two recommendations for further examination by a licensed electrician. His report gave us all the tools we needed to go into repairs negotiations with the seller of our new home. I highly recommend his services to anyone needing a thorough and careful home inspection. _Ryan

It was easy to have them do it all on one day so that I could dedicate time away from work in one sitting.I was very very impressed with how detailed (84 pages, 180 pictures) their inspection report was, but more importantly, Darrell spent hours with me at that site showing me all his findings and explaining what they meant. Also, he always encouraged me to ask questions, before, during and after the inspection. I called him at 10:40pm last night and he spent 15 minutes on the phone with me. He and his partner spent a total of 12 hours on the inspection and inspection report, if not more. And I know I can call him anytime (whether I pay for his services or not) for advice he likes to give on the phone. He found so many items that needed addressing (repair, replacement) that I am negotiating the purchase price with the buyer at this moment. A job done with nothing less than excellence!

Darrel Thomas came out and gave a complete home inspection of a house we were considering on buying. We could not have been happier with the service we received. He walked us through every portion of the home, pointing out the real problems, and potential problems in the future if we didn’t do X, Y or Z to avoid them. From the roof to the storm shelter, he spotted every crack, potential leak, possible energy inefficiency, and code violation. He spoke in easy to understand terms, and explained to us the things we could do ourselves, and the things we probably needed a professional to handle. He was punctual, professional, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a home inspection. He e-mailed us a detailed report with pictures and notes the next day, and we had zero problems with using him for our needs. Overall, It was a great experience. He was on time, thorough and honest. He made sure to tell us the things that were a big deal and the things that would be easy and cheap to fix. He pinpointed potential problems as we went along and explained everything to us. He was very professional and and friendly and has called to follow up after e-mailing a copy of the report. The price was a little more than I've heard of some people paying for inspections,although not outrageous. I do believe you get what you pay for though and it was well worth the money. He gave us his honest professional opinion but also made sure to mention that we should do our own research and ultimately make the decision ourselves, rather than base it all on what he says or thinks. I believe he gave us the information we needed to make a decision about buying the house and also what repairs were going to need to be made before moving in and what repairs could wait. And about how much the work would cost. This was all very important to us because it was a hud home and we were getting a fha 203k loan, in which repair costs are put into the loan and have to be done in a certain time frame. Overall we were very happy and would recommend Darryl Thomas with A&D inspections anytime.
