He was good, very responsive but they are a bit expensive. I've been using them for 3 years now.

It did not go well. Nearly entire house was contracted. Floor was installed by someone else however the installer did not have a lipage machine. We hired Ray the floor guy. First of all, Ray messed up the grout lines in the kitchen. They WERE brown, however dirty water filled the lines after using lipage machine with uncleaned water coolant residue. It looks terrible. Kitchen grout lines were brown, now some are brown and some are tan..additionally Ray said he would use a hand grinder along edges/molding/walls..however HE DID NOT.. so approx 4-6 inches was not ground or polished all throughout the house along walls, appliances and etc. also got grinding dust caked in sliders and grinding dust caked into cracks along mosaic tiles and travertine edges.approx 8x10 area.looks TERRIBLE. Did not grindthe travertine butting up to the mosaic tiles either. we are Very dissatisfied. Came back to the job sight to see why we were nhappy and to see the issues we adressed to him. Rays Poor professionalism re screaming about our unhappiness with the work he performed and in front of another hired contractor was pathetic We requested him to return to complete the job and repair errors that were left and to make the job right. Ray Made 3 appointments to come back, DID NOT cancel or show up for two of the appointments that he made. Poor work ethic, poor workmanship and very bad attitude. 5000$ job and the job is not completed still 6/25/18 Ray was paid in full. Please come to my house and see the very poor quality that we recieved from RAY THE FLOOR GUY. He did come back and fill over 25 holes we found however he did nothing else, he even left our home without consulting us or making arrangements to grind around the mosaic tiles and in front of ALL THE MOLDING..he took many many photos before he left. All in all I would NOT HIRE HIM AGAIN. Ray Waited until we were not in the house and then left without completing the job or repairing the many issues that were of subpar performance..Very very poor workmanship. We are Disgusted. We now need to hire Another travertine person to complete what ray failed to do. Estimate recieved to clean up Rays poor performance-$1600.00. Thank you aRay.

Ray was excellent. He communicated promptly. He arrived and stayed until he completed all rooms. The floors had not been cleaned and wxed in quite a while and I am sure the job required more than he estimated. The floors now look great - clean and shining. We had Ray back to clean and wax our choir and he a great job there as well. I can highly recommend.

Excellent job and the price was fair for the time involved and amount of work that had to be done. Would definitely recommend and will use again for our other flooring needs.

Showed up on time and very professional, the crew completed job in one day and cleaned up all messes which was very important due to family coming in. Would definitely hire again and would highly recommend.

While The Floor Guy gave me no reason to believe he would do anything but a good job, I was worried the floors wouldn't come as clean as I hoped given the years of wear and tear on them and abuse from dogs (urine), glue and embedded nails from pulled-up carpeting and lots of human, dog & cat traffic....Instead, I walked in and was in awe...all of the rooms looked brilliant. The room that was the worst glistened, and I couldn't be happier. Furthermore, I appreciated the experience of working with a polite, knowledgeable, responsive professional who clearly knows his business, offers fair pricing and shows up and works hard and when he says he will. I highly recommend The Floor Guy...an excellent experience all around.

The travertine floors in my home were installed prior to me purchasing it and I soon realized that it was a poor installation job. Over the years holes in the tiles began to appear, the floor was looking old and worn and my wife was over the toe stubbing high tiles, referred to as lippage. My search for a professional to address the problems with my floors seemed like a dead end. I could not find anyone that I felt would or could do the job right. I was considering having the tile replaced (which I did not want to do) until I spotted the bright yellow Floor Guy truck and trailer at a business in Beverly Hills. Ray (The Floor Guy) was very prompt and professional, thoroughly explaining everything that needed to be done and the process. He filled the holes with an epoxy, grinded down the high tiles to make the floor nice and flat and then polished it. He has all the right equipment and methods to keep the dust at a minimum and do a great job. He's very professional, trustworthy and knowledgeable. I am so thankful to have found him, he saved me a lot of headaches and money, replacing tile/travertine floors is not cheap. My wife and I are so pleased, actually thrilled with the job Ray did, we will definitely refer him anytime with the utmost confidence that he will do a great job! The entire house (ex the garage) is travertine, which is approximately 2,300 square feet. The original cost of the job was $12,305, but after a 10% discount of $ 1,230 our total cost was $ 11,075. Happy with the quality job, happy with the price, thanks again to The Floor Guy!
