Description of Work: Charged $99 call out and would be applied to the total cost. The total cost estimate was prohibitive and outlandish. Paid the call out and got another plumber to come and do the work for less than half of their estimate.

Both employees were very pleasant and informative regarding concerns with our fireplace. Very satisfied with their service and will definitely continue with them again.

+ -1 moreJohn and Khris came in right on time and had completed the work in less than an hour. There was no soot in the house and the cleaning was very thorough. Even better, I had some concern about walls insulation for the pool bath behind the chimney. John listened to my concerns and helped me identify the type of fire safe insulation I could have installed to insulate the bathroom considering it is closed to the chimney.

+ -1 moreI had made the appointment, but then received another call that my time had to be moved back slightly. They called a few days ahead of time about the change. I truly appreciated this. It wasn't an inconvenience. They arrived in the time they said they would, gave me options for the repairs and prices. They did the repairs in a very timely manner and to my satisfaction.
Description of Work: I had a leak around the chimney pipe/roof. I had originally called a roofer. He told me the collar on the pipe needed to be sealed or painted. He put down some caulk and said that should take care of it. A friend from work told me about Suncoast/www.baysweep.com. My friend thought I should really have a professional chimney sweep come out and take a look at the situation. I called Suncoast and made the appointment. One thing about their appointments is they schedule them when they will be in a certain area; which I understand since their coverage area is so large. I told him about the leaking, he did an inspection, and explained about rain getting in and where and what it does. When I told him I didn't even use the fireplace he said he could cap it and seal it so there wouldn't be any leaking whatsoever. I asked him to please do this. They removed the pipe, which they also let me keep, capped, and sealed the opening on the roof. It just looks like another vent there now. And the important thing is the leaking will stop.

Very courteous service. Because my neighbor in the same building used them on the same visit, they took $10 off the price for each of us. I am very satisfied.

Sweeps attired in black top hats cleaned the chimney and provided price for replacing crown with improved model. They returned in a week and installed a new shield. Cleaned up very well after each visit. Did great job.
Description of Work: Swept and vacuumed chimney. Removed old chimney shield and replaced with new crown with wind shield.

+ -1 moreI called the company on 9/25/06, the Gail was wonderful, advising the Guys were in the area and would try to have them come out, the very same day. They (John and Chris) came out within 3 hours of my call and were very prompt, courteous and professional. John was very detailed in what I was to expect, as to the work needed. He answered all my questions and was very informative, educating me on chimney caps and how they work and why their product is superior to alot of other companies. They measured and inspected inside and out. If I had been available, they could have actually done the work the same week! However, due to my schedule, I scheduled installation of the Custom Cap and chase cover for 08/02/06. They said they would put me on the schedule for the morning. They called 08/01/06, to verify they would be out the next day as scheduled. They arrived early, just before 9am! Again, friendly, professional and prompt! I would recommend this company to anyone needing chimney work! AAA++

The work was done quickly and professionally. They made recommendations on further maintenance work needed for the chimney area, that was helpful information.
