Description of Work: When the owner came to give a quote, we tried to be very clear as to the complete area that we wanted to be leveled with fill dirt, and that we had very sacred plants in a specific area that were not to be harmed or covered with dirt. We told him several times about the plants and their importance. When the job was done, only 75% of the area to be leveled and filled was actually done and the plants were run over and covered up with dirt. He said it would take another eight to ten dump loads or about twice as much as originally quoted to continue covering the area. And he did not seem to care at all about killing our very valuable sacred plants. The work was done on time and the work that was done was done ok. He told us when he finished that he added a slope to the right so the water would run off, but if he was going to slope the property, we would have expected him to ask us which way we would want it and we would have preferred the slope go to the left for water runoff, as that is where are garden will be in the future. Additionally, the fill dirt was full of dangerous and toxic debris such as Plastics of all sizes, metal, glass, roofing nails, other Nails, aluminum cans, etcetera. This is an area that will be holding large gatherings of people who will be camping out and spending a lot of time on the ground and that is not a good combination. Not impressed.
