We moved in during a very hot July and the cooler crashed the following day!! Not knowing the area we asked our neighbors who to call. We looked on Angies and opted for Senica to give us a guote along with two others. (In the California desert we have swamp coolers so had very little knowledge of Aircon.) Kevin from Senica arrived exactly when he scheduled and did a complete survey of the property. The cooler was 15 yrs old so long overdue for an upgrade. He determined the optimum size system we would need and even went up in the loft space to look at existing ducting. He offered us several types of cooler varying in price with no pressure to purchase. We asked to think about it overnight (again no pressure that we would be losing out on a 'special' deal by waiting.) We called back the following morning and he tried to fit us in the following day (Saturday that was already fully scheduled.) Nick arrived bright and early on Monday morning to dismantle the old cooler. Bill arrived soon after and they both installed the new unit and extra duct work. They were polite, happy and eager to get on with the job. All three of these men came across as professional and trustworthy. We left the house while Nick and Bill did the install and felt able to let them access the fridge/bathroom if necessary. We got a call at noon to say they had completed the job. It was great to feel cool air in the house again!!!!! Thank you so much Senica. 5 stars! The surveyor came the following day and passed the job.

Very professional great price with a 5 yr warranty that no one offered .Would have definitely used them but a friends brother had ac company and could not be beat by a lot ,that's the only reason I did not use Senica Air .TRUST me get a quote from them and gt;and gt;and gt;and gt;

Not that many techs know how to deal with these units. The last guy screwed it up so completely, I ended up just disconnecting it. George from Senica knew this unit inside out and got it back in service. This is the second time I've called Senica and they are competent, efficient - and most importantly - HONEST. That's not easy to find these days either. I wouldn't call anybody else.

From the office staff to the sales rep to the installers, I could not have asked for a better experience with Senica. The sales rep explained the various options available and answered my questions without hesitation or pressure. The installers arrived on time the day of and went right to work taking out the old unit and replacing with the new. They were professional, courteous and extremely hardworking keeping me updated as they went along. The installer explained the new thermostat and even assisted me in setting up the programs. When the county inspector was here, he commented that Senica always does a great job - one of the best. I am very satisfied with my purchase and with Senica!

They told us our coils were leaking and it would cost $4700 with a one year warranty to replace. That would leave the outside unit with no warranty. The system was 5 years old. We were never told to extend the warranty past the 5 years. We called other A/C companies and bought a 15 seer complete unit with an air filter for about $5900 with a 10 year warranty from Bay Area A/C.

They got there when they said they would , They took the old unit out and then they started on the new one it took about seven hours and when they were done they cleaned everything up real good. After they were done they took the time to tell me things I needed to know, I was very pleased overall good job Senica

I had Dominic come out and perform the winter servicing on my system on 11/20/13. At that time Dominic advised that there was extensive wear on the blower wheel fan and bushings and that he would recommend replacing the entire contents of the blower motor assembly. He told me there was no way of knowing exactly how long it would last, it could be a couple of months or it could be a year or more. I opted to try and wait until I received my tax refund as the estimated cost for replacement that I was quoted, $538 was a little expensive. Unfortunately the blower wheel fan did not last and the part failed on the coldest day of the year. I called around and received several estimates, ranging from $350-$433, to just replace the blower wheel fan, not including the motor, mounts and bushings. Given the age of the system, the negligible difference in cost and the luck that I had. I opted to call Seneca and inquire if they would still honor the price even if the 30 day guarantee on the estimate had expired. When I called in the office the receptionist was going to try and contact Dominic and check on parts availability and costs for me. Several minutes later, the receptionist called back and advised that as she was pulling the paperwork from the service call in November, the owner, Mr. Seneca happened to be walking by and he informed her to honor the price even though the 30 days had more than elapsed. Dominic responded and replaced the components of the blower motor housing in less than an hour, tested the system and it worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend them to friends and neighbors and intend to continue using Seneca to service my system.

We have been extremely happy with the service.

Their sales person was punctual, informative and did not do the high pressure sell. We weren't harassed while we checked all our options. They explained all the different price levels for multiple A/C systems and left the choice of which one completely up to us. It was nice to feel like we got the unit we wanted and not the one they wanted to sell us. The installer arrive as scheduled and we almost didnt know he was there. The digital thermostat programming was explained well by the installer who also set the baseline settings. The system passed county inspection without any problems. They did a great job and we are pleased with the electric savings we have enjoyed this very hot summer. The house feels comfortable and the temperature of all the rooms even. Thanks Senica for a first rate job.

they failed to tell me my heat pump was to big for my system.do not use these poeple.

I have used Senica since moving into my home ten years ago. I love their maintenance program (two visits for 119.00) and started using them in order to get my filters changed (both are in the vaulted ceiling). I always feel like they're telling me the truth about how things are going with my A/C and have never tried to and quot;upselland quot; me at all. The guys who come out are always friendly (most recently Adam) and professional. They communicate well so that I know when to expect them.

Their service is good. I can call them on the weekend because I have a service agreement. I found them to be fair. They tell me what's wrong if they find something wrong. They show up on time and do what they say they're going to do.

Tech did the normal checking inside and out. Told me it was low on refrigerant and I must have a leak. He did not check for leaks but added refrigerant .His scale was broken so he guessed on how much he added. After he left the outdoor unit began to make a screaming noise after it shut down. I called the tech back a few days later but he could not get the noise to repeat. He had no idea what it was. 30 minutes after he left it started again. I called another company and they told me it was too much refrigerant.

The appointment was made on Friday morning and the representative was able to come out that afternoon. He called to let us know he was on his way and arrived in a timely fashion. He checked in the attic and the outside unit. There is a heat pump in the garage and he told us what would be changed out. We explained the process of getting estimates we were going through, and he understood he was not making a sale that day. His professional attitude never changed. His price was the best, so we will have to see what happens.

Called Senica at 8am got answering service, they didn't give the message to the office, and I didn't receive a call back, so I called again, spoke to the office they were very apologetic about the answering service, and treated me professionally and politely. The service was promised after 2pm. Kevin called at 2pm and said he would arrive at 2:15pm. he was there when he said and preformed the work to our satisfaction, or so we thought. About an hour later it went off again, we called the office, they again were polite and professional, sent Kevin right back out, quickly, and he fixed what was wrong without a second service charge. I have my yearly contract with Senica and will continue to use them, they really came through in a jam. Was a great service experience.

I will always ask for him to do some services for me. He was great.

I called for a preseason checkup and the technician was punctual, professionally friendly and thorough. I even heard him whistling while working in the attic area. I am very pleased overall.

Senica lived up to the agreement to the letter. They arrived on time and did a very neat removal and replacement of our entire system. Their representative, Bruce Dodge was very friendly and really knew what he was talking about. We've used the unit for almost a year and have had no problem at all, plus the electric bill has gone down considerably.

They did a fine job. I was very pleased with them. They have frequent coupons available. I would definitely use this company again in the future if I needed the services.

They did a very good job and I haven't had a need for any more maintenance. We've since replaced the system because we wanted to upgrade to an energy-efficient system, but not because their repair did not hold up.

Very well. They supplied me with a small room AC that kept at least one room livable until they were done.
