Problem: Exorbitant Price I inquired directly to this company's owner Phillip Kalhorn about installing a pre cut and designed Pavilion from a company that prefabs pavilions and gazebo's from the Lancaster area in Pennsylvania. One of the Amish companies had his name listed as a provider/construction company that does this work. I saw images on his Facebook and his sons' social media the construction of units like the one I wanted. I asked each of the experienced Businesses/ Crafters of these pre-cut units how much to expect for install. (most are in the Lancaster area in PA) The substantial units are custom ordered and delivered directly to your home to put together. All stated expect to pay about 1/3 the cost of the Pavilion or Gazebo. My unit was 10,000. PJK Inc/ Philip Kalhorn wanted want 10,400 for install. This fee is more than the cost of the unit (not including permit needed for Pinellas County: he wanted another 1,000 for that) I was able to get prices from two other local licensed, insured, talented providers that were priced exactly as expected- about 3,500. These other installers have also displayed excellent communication, transparency and have good reviews. One has even gone for on the site training to become experts in this kind of Pavilion/gazebo construction. We are comparing apples to apples. I decided to pull my own permit for 134.00. Philip Kalhorn prices are exorbitant. Buyer beware.

Their work is always excellent. Top quality. They show up when they say they will and they keep in communication through the life of the project. Our home is over 50 years old so there have been a few unanticipated problems which Phil and his team have dealt with, most of the time at no additional charge and with little to no delay. I am so satisfied with their work I don't even call anyone else any more.

They were on time and it was good workmanship. They were friendly. They did what they said they were going to do. I was very satisfied with their workmanship. They were prompt, honest and trustworthy. They had a good work ethic and it was a quality product. They were done on time.

Phillip is hands down the most versatile handyman I have ever known. I have yet to see anything he couldn't do. And he does it with a smile on his face. He is well dressed, well groomed and well mannered, I have recommended him to several of my neighbors and friends. They all agree. He's a jewel!

He is great. He is honest and trustworthy. I have left him in my home several times. He has built me bars and ledges. His prices are so reasonable. He handmade the ledge, and it looks beautiful. I will definitely use him again.
