Murphy’s Sod and Landscaping

Had them put in sod last year and it was a disaster, more than 1/2 weeds. However I really needed was drainage for my backyard. They installed underground pipes but they are leaking at the entry point, worse than before I had them done by Murphy! Now my floooding is worse than before!

The guys at Murphy’s Sod are great to work with. They are efficient, knowledgeable and work hard. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and now a beautiful lawn.

Very affordable, did the job sooner than expected too and it worked out wonderful. Great guys. Highly recommend

It was a fantastic job from start-to-finish-to-follow up! The owner (Zack) was very professional, kept to his time frames despite being thrown some curve balls that were beyond his control. His crew/team were all super hard working, friendly, and took pride in the job they were doing. The quality of the grass appears to be as good as possible based on time of year - nice dark soil. In follow-up Zack saw some pieces that were less than the quality of the rest of the yard and took it upon himself to cut them out and bring in better pieces...he did this on his own, bringing it to my attention. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Zack and Murphy's Sod to anyone that has grass a/o landscaping needs. They're pricing was more than fair given the size of the job and the amount of work involved.

them myself as I find theThey promised to come one week, then did not show up until the next week. After they started & took a deposit they promised they would be back in a few days when the old lawn dies. They did not come back for almost 2 weeks. When they finally started, they did a very sloppy job. There were bumps and lumps all over the lawn. After I argued witht he owner over this, he agreed to put on the sales ticket that if they did not level off, they would fix it. He actually claimed that "osmosis" would take over and level it out. I knew it sounded ridiculous, but I figured that since he was willing to put it on the receipt, it should be ok. It never did level out ( I still fall in holes sometimes). I never called them back since I figured they did not do it right when they were getting paid for it, so why would they do it right for nothing? So I have just been fixing them myself as I find them. I make sure I tell everyone I can that they should not use them.
