Description of Work: I felt the two service men were informative and polite. They were to tune-up my toilet and a couple other small services. My toilet used to be quiet and flush all the way. Now it's noisy and does not flush completely. I guess you get what you pay for. Never expected the service provided would take my toilet from working well to aggravating me everyday. The other two small services were done to my satisfaction.

Description of Work: Has several plumbing problems. The plumber sent by the company looked at the problems, which included poor pressure with the kitchen faucet and continuously running toilets. He was unable to fix any of them and stated there was nothing wrong with the toilets. He had the company call to tell me that they could replace the faucet for $180.00. I went to Home Depot and the salesman there told me how to fix it for free, which took less than 1 minute to do. I had to get another plumber to come out to fix the toilets.

Description of Work: I called Meares on February 22 to schedule a video of the home's sewer line. We needed it for insurance purposes and I explained the situation. The insurance company was disputing paying the claim, and a meeting with the insurance company was coming up. Kelly of Meares answered the phone when I first called with the greeting "How can I make you smile". I laughed since I hadn't heard that type of greeting before. We scheduled the video of the plumbing line for February 28 at 3 pm. Around 9:30 am on Feb 28th, Kelly called and said that one of their 2 DVD cameras broke and they could only offer a VHS recording if we wanted to proceed. Since this video was needed for the insurance conference and the video would be shown on a laptop, I opted to reschedule to March 2nd at 3 pm when a DVD camera would be available. On March 2, 2011 at 1:30 pm I received a call from Brenda. Kelly went home sick and their equipment was elsewhere and they couldn't make the visit. They wanted to reschedule the visit for another day. I explained that Kelly already rescheduled me to today and that it was very important that we have this done today. Brenda said there was nothing she could do. This has really left us scrambling. Meares did not seem to care that this situation was a real priority. Meares did nothing to make things work such as coming later in the day or offering to come as soon as possible. Brenda just said we need to reschedule for a different day. Its understandable to have to reschedule the first time due to broken equipment. (Although real professionals are prepared for this possibility). Equipment breaks but to say you have to reschedule a second time because "the equipment is elsewhere" is not a good response to put it mildly.
