The service was good. Everything went well.

The appointment was set promptly and on a date to accommodate our schedule. The technician arrived as scheduled and worked efficiently. He determined the best place to install the softener in the garage, performed the work in a timely manner and explained how to operate it. He cleaned up after his work and left the area in good condition. We are very happy with the service provided and could not recommend Meares Plumbing more highly. This is the third time we have used Meares Plumbing for plumbing service, and while we never look forward to needing plumbing services, we know that if we ever do we can count on Meares Plumbing to give us quality service in a timely manner and at a fair price.

Meares replaced my old traditional water heater with a hybrid electric water heater quickly and without any issues. It works great and I was very pleased with the service I received. The staff all seemed friendly and knowledgeable. No hidden costs, either, which I liked. I'd definitely recommend them to others. In contrast, I had originally requested a quote from one of their competitors (R.J. Kielty) for a hybrid / heat-pump water heater, after seeing them listed on their website. The person they sent knew anything about this style of water heater, which wasted my time and left me frustrated. I then contacted the general manager for that location via email, to let him know about my experience. I never heard back. If you're on Angies List looking through the reviews because you are having trouble deciding, just go with Meares... You won't be disappointed.

I called on a friday around noon when I discovered water on the kitchen floor. The people on the phone were very polite and were able to get a technician out to my house within the hour. the technician was very helpful and courteous. He was able to fix the problem immediately and even completed a walk thru of my house to make sure everything else was working appropriately. I would use them again.

As a local Realtor, I needed a plumber to meet me at a home that my Buyer was under contract for. I had called over 8 different plumbers and each charging a large amount of money to come and just look at the home since nothing could be done to fix the problems until after closing. Mears answered my call promptly. I was under a very tight inspection period and it was closing the next day. Erica listened to what I needed and said that a plumber could be out there that day and at this time frame. I inquired about the price and she gave me one and then I mentioned that I was an Angie's List member and there was a coupon. To my utmost shock and awe - it was a FREE service call. Bonus to Mears and to being an Angie's List Member. Dan and Sebastian were extremely punctual and polite. Listened to what I needed and then proceeded to inspect and diagnose the problems within the house. They took the time to explain to me the cause of matter as well and what could be done to remedy the problems. Dan wrote up the estimate so that I could take it to the Seller for repair. I will be recommending Mears to my Realtor friends due to this service call. A person answered the phone, quick response time, black and white explanation of the problem and written out estimate of charges for repair. Isn't that what we all want? Thanks Mears!

Very good; they checked out and rechecked the water softner which something we never asked them to do and I thought that was a plus in their favor. The bill was reasonable and I would use them again.

Went very well. Did a great job on the install and clean up. My daughter used them for her water softener after she saw how good of an install they did.

James the plumber did an excellent job!!!! Also the woman I spoke to on the phone was very sweet!!!

I cannot emphasize how professional Matthew was with my husband and I. He understood immediately our concern, and did a thorough inspection, leaving us confident that we did not have a leak. He then answered all our questions, discussed with us some concerns we have for future repairs, replacements, etc. We definitely will be calling this company for any of our future problems with plumbing concerns. As for Matthew, he certainly is an asset to this company, as we found him polite, well-spoken, informative, knowledgeable and helpful. When Matthew entered our house, he covered his shoes with protective slippers that were bright pink. I commented on the bright color and he informed me that this was for Breast Cancer Month and that some of all the money they make this month goes to supporting the fight against breast cancer, which was also very impressive to me, as I have a member in my family who suffered through breast cancer. All around...great company, great employee!

It went very well! The technician came out the day before to give us an estimate and I was able to schedule him back out the next day to do the install everything. He ran into some issues with the piping and the garbage disposal because of the age of our home. He re-did the piping and made it look very nice (not that anyone looks under the sink... but I do!) Chuck was our technician and he was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to have in our home. This was the 2nd time we have had Meares Plumbing to our home and we will definitely be calling them again when we have plumbing issues or new installs!!

Dan, the plumber, couldn't have been nicer, or more professional. I was very happy with his work. He was on time, friendly and left the area clean when he departed. Great company to deal with.

Same day service on a Saturday. Professional personnel that were knowledgeable and had great attitudes. Repair personnel were on time and wore shoe covers. Price was right. I will use them again and recommend them to my friends.

I was satisfied with the work. I thought they were a little pricey because they charge a flat rate and not a hourly rate. He informed me that I probably saved some money with the flat rate compared to the hourly rate because the they ran into some problems doing the work.

If you have a rating above A, I would have to give it for them. They did what they said they are going to do plus extra for us, which just blew me away. He represented the company very well. He said about what they believed in and that was evident is everything that he did. They also have a maintenance program. He told that if you face any major problem, just call us first and take out the maintenance program, so that you can save money.

Had disaster due to surge with tankless, electrical wires burnt and also blew hole in relay inside tankless, original plumber never returned. Called Meares Plumbing, Ed came out same day I called and diagnosed the problem and suggested I switch to GE Hybird water heater since went through 3 tankless already. Agreed, but was hesitant at first due to cost, but agreed when he stated that they covered parts and labor for 10 years on it. Just had electrician in before Ed arrived to repair house wiring that was burnt. Ed mentioned that circuit breakers would have to be reduced and one capped off, so I tried to reach electrician, no luck, and didn't return phone call for three days. I contacted Meares and said I needed their electrician as this guy wasn't reliable and I needed hot water. Tommy, office manager was great, he called everyone and finally got me an electrician to work with the installation of the water heater. Ed came and worked until 8:30 that night. He was excellent, the only time you knew he was here was when he had to drill for the softener. He was professional and everything was left spotless, nothing to be picked up after he left. Also any time he entered the house, he wore booties, which was greatly appreciated.

I was very happy. They were nice and wore booties not to dirty up the floors. They did a great job! They were very helpful and knowledgable. I would recommend them to anyone.

Definitely will be using Meares Plumbing for all our plumbing needs. Received a call back within 10 minutes of talking to the emergency line. Technician was willing to come out to my home in 30 minutes but we were unavailable and made a time for first thing in the morning. He was on time and did a fantastic job fixing the leak. Their pricing is straight forward and there are no hidden charges. We were very thankful for their work and how fast they came to took care of it.

The serviceman from Mears was the most incredible technician I've ever had in my home .He excelled both professionally and personally . I was especially impressed by the way he spoke of what an extraordinary company Mears is. I will never use another plumbing co. but Mears. Thank you for always featuring such high-quality companies.

Matthew arrived on time and did an excellent job installing the new water heater. He inspected the plumbing of our recently purchased home, and made several recommendations which we will follow up on as finances allow. He was not only extremely knowledgeable and thorough; but he was very compassionate and assisted me immediately when my husband missed a step and experienced a bad fall. We will not hesitate to recommend this company to our family and friends, and plan to call them again in the near future to bring our plumbing up to code.

The guy they sent was the nicest, most polite man and the best service I have ever had from the person I got the phone. The service was great. The individual was knowledgeable. He as excellent.

It was easy to schedule an appointment. After I sent them an email, they got back to me within a couple of days and we scheduled the appointment right away. There were no additional fees beyond the cost of the deal. Eric was the technician who came out for the work. When he came into the house, he wore the plastic covers over his boots to protect the floors. He spent about two hours and he checked everything. Then we sat down at the dining room table and we talked about anything that he thought may need updating and any problems that may come up in the future. He is very knowledgeable and has been in the business for a while. It was a really good experience. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Removed toilet. Inspected several plumbed locations. Made recommendations, compiled list of materials and fixtures needed. Gave a list of costs. We set a tentative date for completion of work.
