Actually, for the situation, I would say great. Listen, this was a challenging, emotional time for a lot of folks so it is important to keep things in perspective. Understanding the logistical challenges King faced and to able to keep relatively close to the original schedule was amazing. Even though the schedule was about a week behind (still amazing) his guys worked sun up to well passed sun down, through the weekend, and through cold and rainy whether. Hats off to his field crews as they were always polite, courteous, and respectful to leave things better then they were when they started (i.e. picking up loose debris and materials from the yard even if it wasn't theirs).

King Roofing did our roof after Hurricane Michael and did a fantastic job. They met with us several times talking about our roof, helping us pick colors, and talking to us about a possible add-on. We highly recommend Kings Roofing.

The roofers, who were basically day-laborers, did not seem like they were certified nor knowledgeable in roofing at all. I brought my concerns about the workers to the owner, Stacey Reisinger. He told me that they were capable of doing the job and assured me that they would be capable of doing the work. I asked the workers if they were subcontracted out, and I was told they were. Mr. Reisinger argued that they were not subcontracted. I took his word for it and let it go because I expected his word to be true. There were times when I was up on the roof myself and noticed wood that needed replaced. They were simply going to cover the damaged parts of my roof if I had not asked them to replace these certain parts. It got to the point that I was going up to do regular checks to make sure they were not just covering up parts of the roof that needed replaced. I tried contacting Stacey Reisinger multiple times throughout this process, but he began to blow me off and not respond. The project took 3 weeks when it should have only taken a few days. It rained while they were in the process and water got into my house as well. I found mistakes in ventilation and water damage after they were finished with the project too. They also didn't clean up after they worked. Not even when they were done with the project. There were nails everywhere in my yard, and the few that they did "throw away" were tossed in my flower bed, not the trashcan. The same company contracted out a drywall person to do my skylights. He made a mess in my living room and didn't tell me about it. Just left it there for me to clean up. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE, EVER.

I had a building contactor who is a home inspector come out a couple of days later to check out the situation. He did see the loose shingles but indicated that the area where the leak was occurring should have been repaired correctly. The sealant that was used around the pipes was white. The contractor indicated that it should have been sealed with tar. The young man who came out was very nice AND I certainly do have an issue with my shingles raising up but I felt he did not really do the job correctly by using tar to seal around the vents. He sealed several areas of the shingles down with the white sealant but according to the inspector he should have used tar AND fixed and sealed the nail head where the leak was over the MB. Responsiveness: I would have rated an A but instead a B. Someone from the office called me the next business day...on Monday 8/24. I was impressed. She said that someone would call me back in a couple of days to schedule. (I mentioned that if it could get done by Thursday afternoon that would be great because we were headed out of town that Friday for a week.) I never received a call that first week and still did not receive a call for at least a week following our return from vacation. I had to call in again to get something set up.

Did not clean the gutters as they were supposed to as it states in the deal. He told me that I didn't have the right equipment to clean my gutters. I thought a service provider should have there own equipment. Large crack in my roof that they didn't even let me know about. The left bright white caulking everywhere. It is HIDEOUS. Not pleased with this service at all.

Nothing He never showed up. He never call to cancell or nothing. This conduct is an insult fir customers who trust or think that by hiring services through Angies list there is no husle. I can not believe they didnt just not show, they ruin my day as I cancell other important stuff. You should vanish this people from your website. I want my money back.

Called company on 08/28/15. Scheduled estimate for Monday 08/31/15 Dan from the company showed up on time. Was very courteous explained what would need to be done. We needed new roof with repair of a rafter and truss. I explained to Dan that I wanted an itemized estimate of the work to be performed. He showed me a sample estimate. This sample was only a generalized statement of each process that would be completed. I explained to Dan that I wanted a complete breakdown with an itemized detailed estimate. He stated he could give that to me but it w ours take a little bit longer for him to get back with me on the estimate. I stated that was fine as it involved more detail and more work. Within 10 minutes of Dan leaving my home the owner of the company called me and stated they do not give itemized estimates as they do not have the software to complete this process. He said he could manually do it but could not have it completed until December. I stated to the owner of the company that if he could not give me a breakdown itemized estimate I would be going with another company who could give me this service. As a responsible home owner if a business can not give you an itemized estimate with the breakdown of cost, I have learned through experience that "buyer beware".

Amazing! The team was efficient, clean & organized. It only took 3 days for entire new roof. The team started early and took advantage of daylight to get the job done. Very pleased!

We found this service on Angie's List. They came out on time and did the inspection on the roof, telling us it was in good shape (thank you for that) , fixed a couple minor areas, as promised in the Angie's List ad. No up-selling or anything at all like that...it was well worth the $199 to have them come out! We would definitely use their services again!

The roof still leaks where he performed the repair.

My experience with King Roofing was excellent from the get-go. The person I spoke with in my initial call was very cordial and quite helpful. The roof was leaking badly in one area. I was at wits end. They took that into consideration and revised the original scheduled visit to a much earlier one which I was very grateful for. The prices quoted for the roof repair as well as replacement were slightly less than other roofing experts; this coupled with the fact that they have various payment options made the choice of recruiting them a fiscally sound one. What swayed me in the direction of using their services in the future was the professionalism and integrity of Mr. Stacy Reisinger who on his own initiative arranged to have staff patch the area that was leaking without a monetary commitment from me. Its rained several times since and it appears that the patch did the trick! Hopefully before year-end I will recruit King Roofing to replace my roof. Thank you Stacy, Carol and staff!!!!

This is the second time I have used Galen and his company to replaced a roof. Both times they were very fair and professional. The job site was cleaned up and the roof looks great.

I bought a big deal for this service. Overall it was fine, about what I expected. They gave me very good advice about what my roof needed. The minor repairs they said they would do were not quite what I expected. The deal, I thought, was an okay price.

Galen came within the window of time he said he would. He took a look up inside the fireplace (from below) but rather than making an attempt at looking at the situation in earnest, said that we should call back the company that had done our chimney cap and cited an area along the chimney he felt needed caulking. When he left my husband expressed dismay that we had even made the time for him to come out, feeling that he was looking for business that wasn't there instead of addressing our need. I would not use him for 'roofing' based on his saying something to the effect of our already having had too many people involved in seeing that this gets repair. Duh! Now he's just one MORE person who can't (or can't see that it would be profitable to) fix it.

I reached out on 12/20/2014 for a quote, and did not receive a response. It would seem that Gulf Coast does not want my business. UPDATE: After posting this, Gulf Coast reached out to me, and came by my home for a quote. I decided to go with another provider, however, Gulf Coast did some through for me. I'd chalk this one up to a busy holiday.

The estimate and all paperwork was professionally handled. The staff and owner were very professional and met all the needs of the job. They were the only company out of 5 that could meet all the job requirements. There were minor problems with sky light and facia but the company kept in touch and saw the job through to completion. I am very satisfied with the work an recommend them to my friends.,

They originally did the roof about two years ago. They determined the issue was with the flashing, and came back out about 2-3 days later to fix everything at no additional cost to me.

Galen and his team was professional right from the beginning. Had several companies come out for a quote. Most just quickly said 'replace flat roof' which may or may not have resolved the leak. Galen was the only one who listened to my concerns and even came out a second time to re-quote the job to fulfill my concerns and needs to do more than just the flat roof and to take care of some other troubling areas. He was also patient waiting for me to pull the trigger with regular follow ups (should have listened to him and dealt with is sooner rather than later as all the rain we had in the area made the problem worse). He started the job on time as promised. His employee said the job would take two days but ended up taking about 2 1/2. That was OK because I appreciated the quality of the work and that he was not taking short cuts to complete the job quicker. I from time to time went up to inspect the progress and he always showed me where other areas were rotten. Even though it has not rained yet since the job was completed I am confident that the job was done right and will not lose sleep overnight. Bring on the rain so I can do a happy dance. The company was very responsive to inspect and quote a price. They were backed up with jobs as were other roofing companies due to the amount of recent rains. It was difficult to even get someone to visit to give a quote for the repair. After a few weeks they were ready to start the repair. The exterior part of the job was repaired although we have not confirmed that with any rainfalls recently. The interior was not acceptable and we requested further repair to make it look presentable. After the supervisor's inspection of the further repair he indicated that a "handyman" would most likely rip out the new drywall and replace it before taping it. Our bad in not hiring a previously used roofer who would only repair the exterior for less than half the cost especially since we now need to find a "handyman" to complete the task before we paint the ceiling which had just been painted two weeks before the damage occurred. We were willing to pay the extra amount to have the proper repairs made which was our mistake. Another. Complaint was that we inquired about the senior discount offered on Angie's List after the quote was given and were told it was included although the estimator did not give us that information. We were also disappointed we could not use our credit card.
