+ 2 moreSevered my phone line, then told me to call the phone company and left. Used a chemical on my brand new windows that left a film that wouldn't come off, when contacted he told me to 'try vinegar'....which also didn't work. Later I noticed streaks in the paint that you could only see from a certain angle, called multiple times and was ignored. Most unprofessional contractor I've ever interfaced with.

+ -1 moreHe was punctual. There was team of 3. They worked from 8:30-5pm with only a one hour lunch. He brought all of his equipment and products. They did a fantastic job, and were very friendly. My elderly mother was very impressed with them as well. The team worked very well together, they weer very efficient. They did a wonderful job cleaning up. Instead of treating the small areas that he had, he textured the whole hallway and the entire kitchen. He went above and beyond.
Description of Work: I had him remove wallpaper in my kitchen and hallway.

+ 17 moreIt went much better than we could ever have hoped. All work was completed in six days. That entailed demo, electrical, plumbing, tile, installation of toilet, exhaust fan, lights, vanity. John came early every morning and left after 6PM most days. Their pride in their work showed as they were professional, personable and trustworthy. We couldn't be happier. It was a first class job by a first class business.
Description of Work: John James owner of Double J Plastering & Painting, Inc. in Spring Hill, Florida and his apprentice John did a wonderful job on our bathroom remodel. We had a small master bathroom that was in desperate need of a redo. The ceiling was low, the shower was old fiberglass and the door barely cleared the commode. We had hope to enlarge the area but after the demo we found that there wasn't much space to move the walls out significantly. They gave us a few inches on each side and raised the ceiling. They had to move an air conditioning vent, add additional electrical to the area, and also add some new plumbing and valves to accomodate our new shower area. The area was dry walled, the floor and shower walls were tiled and the walls and the new ceiling were painted. A new exhaust fan and special light in the shower area were installed along with our new shower hardware, commode and vanity. They cleaned up each day before they left: they were on time every morning and worked all day with only a lunch break. They were friendly and professional and we would highly recommend them to anyone.
