I had no problem with my air and it was working the day before I had it serviced by this company. The tech came and started to work. He came to me and told me that the blower did not work and asked me if I wanted to fix it. It needed parts and would be over $100 plus the cleaning. I said it needed to be fixed so I would have to fix it. He then told me the condenser was bad and needed to be replaced. I said I didn't understand because it was working but needed air so he would have to replace it. He said he replaced it , he had one in the truck. I felt he was padding a bill at this point. He then came out and said that it was leaking Freon and wanted to put $300 worth of Freon in to test the system. I balked at this as the system was working fine before he started working and now needed all this work and money? He was just suppose to routinely clean it. He then said he could test it with nitrogen and would not cost me anything. After testing he then told me the coil was leaking. He said he could hear the leak when he walked into the area of the handler. He did not mention this sound as he worked on the condenser-the same area? He said nitrogen came out as fast as he but it in. The cost was close to $2000 to fix. He of course gave me an estimate on a hew unit. I was upset and confused because the unit worked fine the day before and he was just suppose to clean it. I called and tried to speak to the owner. The owner was very rude and nasty with me and would not let me say 10 words. I was very nice but very confused at this point. They did not charge me for the cleaning-big deal. The blower is now working (without the needed part). But I now whatever happened I am stuck with a big leak in the coil. So I now need a new unit. He got his truck stuck by my driveway area for over an hour because of a dead battery in the truck. I don't really know what happened the whole situation was very strange. But I am taking estimates on a new system. I would not use them again.

Everything they did was great. They staff was clean and polite. They always have everything they need with them. They always cleaned up any mess that they made. I have been a customer with them for about 3 years now.

Technician that came was right on time. Very courteous and helpful. He performed his tasks quickly and answered my questions along the way. I plan on using their service on a regular basis from now on!

and as all Floridians know, late August is a bad time for that to happen. I called and they came the next day right on time. He replaced the the parts in the outside unit and that was that. A/C worked once again and all was right in the world again!!!

Overall was very happy with the service provided. Had a few miscommunications that were resolved in a timely manner

The appointment I was given was for four hours after my call. The serviceman arrive on time and after my description of the problem, knew exactly what to check. He showed me what was wrong and had it fixed within 30 minutes. He also gave me advice on how to maintain my unit. He was knowledgeable about the work and professional in the way he carried out the job. I would certainly call them again.

It went very good, they were great, now it is the father and son, family business, I would recommend to anyone.

Great service. Good estimate, prompt and professional. We had 3 companies come out and look at the job, Krueger was chosen. All work was done in a very professional manner; 2 follow-up visits were completed to ensure we were happy and everything was working properly. I highly recommend them for any HVAC work.

2 days later 2 very nice young men came out and installed my unit. There were respectful, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. They completed the job in record time. The system is running great! I will never call anyone else for my ac and heating needs. Thanks Craig!

Excellent service and very professional None comparable

This company was so caring and so helpful, I wish we had 100 houses to have them put new units in. Our A/C went out one evening on a hot, humid day, and my husband thought it might be iced up so we waited another day, and got it running for a few hours before it totally gave up. We called Craig Krueger after finding them on Angies List. We are new to the area and didn't know any companies to call, so looked for one close by with good reviews. My husband called and they sent out a service man, Joe, to see what he could do. He put refrigerant in, checked out all the mechanics, and said it was pretty much done for. This is an old house, 1980, and the outdoor unit and attic unit were both old and put in at different years, and unmatched. One part was not even hooked up. We called and the company sent Mike Krueger out the next day. He again inspected our unit, added tons of refrigerant and gave us an estimate for a new unit, which we decided to purchase. The company was very busy and could not get to us for a few days, so they actually sent out their guys with a used unit, they called it a beater, which they had in the warehouse and installed it to keep us going until they could get to us. It worked great, and we really appreciated the time and trouble they took to do that. At every step of the way, they kept reassuring us that we could call them at any time and they would react. It took about six days, but we did have the loaner unit to keep us cool in the meantime, and Jay and DJ came and installed the new unit and a new programmable thermostat in a different site than before, as I could not reach the original one and it was not programmable. They worked hard all day, replaced everything and hauled away the old stuff, and left everything tidy. It was so hot and humid that day, and they never complained. During the day, Craig Krueger came out to say hello and see how the job was going. At the end of the day, we settled up with our payment, and they charged us just what the estimate said. I couldn't believe how caring and reassuring the people in this company were. They spent so much time and effort trying to keep us cool, actually installing the loaner, taking out our original unit, and then taking out the loaner and putting in the new unit. I can't tell you how much we appreciated their service. I am so glad we called them. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

They do a great job. I’ve had the same service person all the time and that’s an excellent feature. He is friendly, knowledgeable and quick. I went ahead and recommended them to other people. If you need HVAC services, you call them.

Mike (Craig's son) came over first thing to go over the exact steps to be taken and graciously as well as thoroughly answered all my questions to my complete satisfaction. The two guys who did the work, Mike J and Terry A, were very professional, friendly and efficient. They also answered any follow-up questions I had willingly and clearly. They cleaned up completely before leaving and there was absolutely no evidence that work had been done in the house. We couldn't be happier with the services this company has performed for us (they replaced our entire a/c system several months ago leading to a glowing review on Angie's List). Two of my friends in our community have also had their a/c systems replaced using Krueger and they are also highly satisfied with this company's service. I will wholeheartedly recommend Craig W. Krueger A/C and Heating LLC to anyone I know for an A/C replacement or any other form of servicing of their current system.

In late afternoon our A/C seemed to stop putting out cool air and the compressor didn't seem to kick in, only the fan continued running. My husband did some preliminary troubleshooting and concluded we needed a repair call made. At 4:50 I called Krueger Heating & Air Conditioning. After giving the person the pertinent information she said to shut the unit down at the thermostat and a repair person would stop by between 7 & 8pm that evening. At just after 6pm the technician pulled into the driveway. He went over all the things my husband had checked and proceeded to pull the cover off the unit. He showed my husband the problem : the ball bearings had seized in the fan motor due to a leak in the unit. He proceeded to replace the fan motor with one that has the ball bearings in a sealed unit. Once the replacement was installed, he checked the rest of the unit and said we were fixed and good to go. I chose to call this company because of the good reviews and the awards they have received here in Hernando Co.

I was very pleased with them. They came in a timely way and did the job well and everything is fine. He spent about an hour and checked everything, the filters and the nature that the system was. He also checked the coolant levels and all that stuff. He just kind of gave it a spring check-up, I guess. They did a good job. They were very professional.

Krueger had the best price, no pressure sales, Mike the rep explained everything. Crew was on time and professional. Everything went perfect.

Mike and his crew of three (TJ, Eric and, unfortunately, I can't recall the 3rd fellow's name) were extremely efficient, courteous, and professional. Each answered any question I had with a knowledgeable, friendly response. Their work was excellent and the new system installation looks far superior to the original builders A/C and is also much more reliable and energy efficient. Mike had previously came and gave me the quote and patiently responded to all my questions. I was especially impressed with his military based attitude (he is a former Army NCO) of doing the job right the first time and his emphasis on how each install is a reflection on the company's integrity and good name. He took whatever time was necessary to allow me to make sure all my concerns were taken care of and all my questions fully satisfied. He also did not push a more expensive system; instead he selected a system that was appropriate for our house size and living style. Trane, unfortunately, sent the wrong heat strip for emergency heat which was temporarily installed and is expected to be replaced with the correct one in a few days for which Mike was very apologetic. Cleanup was very thorough and everything from the old system was carted away. Also, the workers are all employees and not contract or pickup workers. I highly recommend Krueger as did a golfing acquaintance who had Krueger install their new A/C did to me. At this point (one day after install) we are waiting for Pasco County to inspect the installation. I truly do not expect any issues to surface.

I called the company after not having any heat and opened the air handler cabinet to find that the blower wheel fan had failed completely and had become separated from the blower motor with broken pieces inside the blower motor housing. I requested an estimate from the company for the cost of replacing the broken blower wheel fan. The woman who took my call advised that they would not provide an estimate over the phone. They would however, be happy to make an appointment for a technician to respond to my residence and diagnose the problem for $69.50. I explained to the woman that I already KNEW what the problem was and I just wanted to see if they would be competitive with the telephone estimates that I had already received from Cornerstone Air, Schmitt, Inc. and Bayonet (See reviews under each contractor). She reiterated that they would not provide an estimate over the phone. I thanked her and declined. I would not pay someone to come out and tell me something that I already knew.

We have to have a permit for everything around here. After it was installed the inspector from the county came by to make sure that it had been installed correctly, I told him that Craig Krueger had installed it and he said that they have never had a problem with Craig Krueger. He did not have a problem with my unit. We went with the larger unit because we figured it would cool with more efficiency and we got a $500 rebate. They were very nice to work with and they made good suggestions. I like contractors that know there job. When they can say instead of doing this, why not do this and give me a reason why, I really appreciate that. Craig Krueger is one of those. I called them about the furnace and they said that it is part of their check-up service. They told me if there is something wrong with the unit, to call them and they will be right out.

We just moved in to the house and found that the a/c was not working very well. Call and them came out to check it. It was leaking freon and to repair it would not only cost a lot but they did not think they could get the parts. They said it would cost about $3000 and that a new heat pump would be $3600. We went with the new unite . Said they would be here at a set time and they were. After work was complete the county inspector came out and everything was to code and that we could not have picked a better company to do the job. Best we have ever worked with.

After getting three separate quotes, they came in at almost 2k less than everyone else and they replaced all the copper tubing when everyone else just flushed the system from the old refrigerant. I'm very happy with the work they provided and at the best price available for a trane 5 ton system. I couldn't be happier with my system and this contractor. No pressure from the sales people either. They are definitely the best around.

We called in the morning and left a message, he called back within a half hour, and came within hour and a half. He found the problem quickly, had the parts on his truck, explained to my husband the exact problem, and fixed it. He was very pleasant and professional.
