They were prompt; they were courteous and fast. There was no problem from estimate to work performed. I would use Murray’s tree service again.

Tim, was early for quote appointment with crew pruning appointment. Crew was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They made sure the limbs were supported prior to cut to ensure the tree was not damaged, and my fence was not damaged. We have finally found a tree service that we will use in the future, as well recommend to friends. The tree is beautiful !!

The price was $400 cheaper than the other estimat that I got. Their work was excellent and they cleaned everything up afterwards impeccably. We could not have been happier with their work. I will use no one else for trees service.

I had gotten a couple of other estimates. I don't believe the other estimates were from people who actually liked trees. Tim is passionate about trees. You can tell by listening to him talk that he wouldn't do anything harmful to the trees you want to keep. It was a bit more than my lowest bid but I trusted his knowledge. It has been a year now and my trees still look great! They are full, happy and perky! I would trust Tim with any tree I own, including a new Live Oak that my husband and I planted for our third anniversary. I also have to add that my mother's ashes are buried underneath one of my oaks in the back. Tim and his crew was respectful of my mother's resting place and I appreciate that. Earlier this year our neighborhood had a good storm. Everyone was loosing limbs right and left. I lost one (and it had been on its way out any way!). I felt that was proof of what a great job Tim did. I'd also like to say if you like your trees to look like giant broccoli... don't call Tim. Thank you Tim for not butchering oak trees (or any trees) like that!

We absolutely loved working with Tim! From the first time he came out to the assess the trees it was very clear that not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about arboricullture he is incredibly passionate about his work. Tim was actually the last vendor we contacted, and without knowing that we had spoked to anyone else, he told me exactly what the other vendors were planning on doing and why it was the wrong thing to do for the trees. His quote was not the least expensive we received, but it was not even close to the most expensive. He was there with his crew the whole day to oversee the job and he personally did the injections on our trees that are in poor health. His workers were polite and tidy. I left the house for a few hours and when I returned the crew was gone and the property looked like they had never been there... except for our beautifully manicured trees!

Tim Murray coordinated with the utility company and I got the job done and left the property in good order. His crew was very professional. Recently I noticed a very large branch/limb had snapped in a recent high wind storm we had and was caught in the canopy. I called Murray to come out to remove it, fully expecting to pay. His crew was here the next day and took care of it. I inquired about the bill and Tim advised there was no charge. What a pleasant surprise! The damaged limb was not a result of his earlier work, we just had a bad storm with wind. He could not have been nicer. He explained that type of situation is included in his service. Wow! I would highly recommend Murray.

Tim came out the same day I called him--which was the day after the recent storm. He was very professional. His workers came when Tim said they would (even working in the rain). They removed a cherry laurel tree, trimmed all the other trees, cleaned up the debris left in the front and back yards by the storm. They also cleaned off the roof of the house where debris had accumulated. Everything went very well. I would definitely use them again.

Tim was very professional. Came to my house on time, gave me a quote and explained in detail what he would do. I went with another company who came in a little lower and offered to do extra miscellaneous pruning and cleaning of shrubs,etc.

There was a large limb that overhung the driveway so we were concerned about the safety of the tree. Tim worked with us throughout the tree pruning while advising us on the health of the tree during the cutting so as not to compromise the nutrient source of the tree by cutting too much foliage. We are completely happy with the result. Tim is very knowledgeable and his workers are extremely careful, efficient and neat. Our neighbor came out and commented on how great the tree looked as well as the efficiency of his crew. We will definitely continue to use Murray's tree service in the future.

I wish I met Mr. Murray in person, but I didn't need to. I called his company, he did a drive-by that day and called back with a quote. I left him a check the follwoing morning and when I got home from work, there was no sign the tree ever existed. That is what I call service.

They came right out and gave us an estimate and set up a time. There were nine guys in the crew it took them only four hours to do the job and have everything cleaned up.

The owner came out to give us an estimate. He seemed very knowledgeable and friendly but when he came out to do the work some things he said he would do for us did not get done; for instance he said he would trim back the top one third of the vine in the oak tree and trim branches from the oak tree away from the magnolia tree and trim a branch on another oak tree. This was all discussed when we asked for an estimate. When we asked him about these things he either made excuses or said it did not need to be done (even though earlier he said it should be done). If you use this service make sure every little thing is written on the estimate and don't give him any money until everything is double checked and done because once he gets money, he no longer returns phone calls.

Tim came right out promptly to do an estimate. However, when it came to doing the work, he had told me he usually didn't schedule appointments for specific dates, it would just be when he could get to me, and he wouldn't be able to get to me the following week, it would probably be early the week after that. Okay, no problem there. But when that week came, he called Tues. to say he'd be to me on Wed, then Wed. he called in the afternoon to say that he got held up on another job and couldn't make it. Okay, so far, I was trying to be understanding. He was supposed to call the next afternoon to let me know if he could make it Friday. No call. So I called him Friday afternoon. Still no call back. Then Sunday night, he called to say he'd be out first thing Monday. Monday afternoon, he called to say he couldn't make it. Finally, Tues. he came out but didn't complete all the work agreed to in the estimate. I called him and, to his credit, he did come out that evening to go over things, and agreed to come back at some point to do the rest of the work (he said he was planning to come back anyway to treat the one tree for borers, as the equipment he needed for that was in the shop). That Friday, he came back out, but the work was still not completed to my satisfaction. However, maybe I should have been more assertive at that point about what I still wasn't satisfied with, and asked him to come back a third time, but by that point, I was really upset, sick of dealing with it and didn't want things to degenerate into unpleasantness, so I just thanked him, sent him the check, and came away from the experience feeling like I spent $1,200 and didn't get what was agreed to. I cannot recommend Murray's Tree Service, even though, on the plus side, he is a friendly, professional person, he did stay in communication with me even when the work was put off several times, and it was not a totally horrible experience or anything, but it was like pulling teeth to get the work done and then it wasn't done as originally discussed on a few items, and I don't have $1,200 to throw around and not be satisfied in the end. I've used three other tree services in the 12 years I've lived in my house and never experienced problems with them. Once one did have to come back to take more off a tree or two, but they did and I was satisfied. This is the first tree service I've ever used that I've come away from the experience feeling that I didn't get my money's worth. Again, to be fair, I should strongly emphasize that maybe it is partially my fault for not articulating to him in the end that I was STILL not satisfied with a few things and really wanted him to come back again and do x, y, and z. I'm not good at being assertive about things, I'm afraid, so how can he know that I'm not satisfied if I don't make it clear? Therefore, to be ultra fair in grading this, I'm giving him a B overall, even though I'm feeling distinctly "C"-like.

I have used them three times. They do good work and clean up very well. I have taken quotes and theirs was reasonable. I like them because they do great work.

After a couple of years it had grown out some, but both trees really needed trimming. I got Tim Murray and his crew to do the job. It was an absolute miracle. Both trees looked great and the back tree was almost back to normal. If you looked real hard you could tell where the earlier guy had chopped away. Today you wouldn't even notice (see the picture!). Recently I needed a bit of trimming on one of the oaks and a lot of trimming on some Cherry Laurels in the back yard. Tim is a miracle worker, did a great job and knows exactly where to trim. He has a great eye! As usual all of the debris was cleared away. I heartily recommend Murray's Tree Service!

The estimate was given within four hours of our call. We called Murray's Tree Service back the next day to request that they perform the work as discussed and they were at our house to do the work three days later. They arrived on time in the morning and were finished by 2:00 in the afternoon on Tuesday June 19th. I was able to review the work with my wife on Wednesday afternoon June 20th and we found some work left to do. We called them that afternoon and they were back the next day (today, June 21) by noon. They completed the work to our satisfaction by 2:30 this afternoon.

Great job! Tim operates one crew that he oversees. He knows his business very well (he's a certified arborist, and he knows trees and how to prune correctly). His team works hard and carefully. Some of the tree branches were enmeshed in powerlines, yet they carefully extracted them. Tim was very careful about stump grinding, and worked hard to grind errant roots from the old pines. I found Murray's off Angie's List. I got 3 bids, and his was the middle one. I chose him because he was professional and took notice of other plantings in my yard. He gave me a couple tips on some recent plantings and explained everything very carefully. I asked for a few extra things to be pruned, for which there was no charge. Great company, great experience. Very fair price (they worked 1-1/2 days solid, including a crane to remove the pine branches). They take a lot of pride in their work. As Tim told me, "As a kid, I loved to climb trees. I still do!"

Tim, and his three employees did a beautiful job of trimming and shaping our 3 oak trees. This also involved removing a large branch in a precarious place over our roof. They didn't damage any of our property (despite the difficult location of parts of the trees). Tim remembered all we discussed during our estimate and made sure the crew met my requests. They were on time, worked quickly and efficiently, were polite, and they cleaned everything up completely before leaving. It was such a relief to have a company do such a nice job. I wish that wasn't so rare.

Murray's Tree Service gave the best estimate and came when they said they would. They did the entire job even though I was not at home to supervise. They cleaned up after themselves (although they left the gate open), and one of the trees was over some wires and they still trimmed it without complaint or hesitation. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

I cannot say enough good about this company! They are fantastic and the clean up is great! It is the best there is if I could them an A++++++ I would. They are the best there is.

The company representative (certified arborist) listened to our request, said he would do it but explained why another alternative was better for the tree. Once his crew arrived (on schedule), they safely and professionally climbed the tree, climbed out a long branch, secured it with rope, and severed it. The process was slow, took 3-4 men, and was supervised by the head man throughout (repeated for 3 branches). They were honest in responding to work request. They advised against our original idea with a solid argument. Owner supervised job. These folks can be trusted to do a good job.

NONE - I CALLED HIM ON FRIDAY, JULY 1, AROUND 6 PM & LEFT A MESSAGE FOR HIM TO RETURN MY CALL TUESDAY. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM. EVEN MY HUSBAND IS A LITTLE UPSET & IT TAKES A LOT TO UPSET HIM!
