Great, no problems at all with this company.

Service was as scheduled and cost for additional services was fair.

It went well! They replaced some parts in the heat pump. They have now become my warranty service company of choice. In addition, I have purchased a yearly maintenance contract from them.

I like them a lot. I have been using them for maybe nine years or ten.

The service was under warranty. I have been using them for a couple of years now.

I'm very pleased with Kron's responsiveness to my situation. I woke up to 83 degrees in the house with the thermostat set to 74. The AC was not running at all. It was Saturday morning so I was worried about being able to get it fixed that day. I called ten different vendors and Kron got back with me within an hour and was the only one able to get a tech over quickly. I waited maybe another hour for the tech. He was very professional. He had to access the unit in the attic and got soaked accessing the outside unit during a downpour. He flushed a clog in the drian pipe and had the unit up and running again. He was honest and straightforward in discussing the problem and my options. He was not pushy at all. I opted to purchase the yearly maintainanace package as well.

As soon as we met Bob Shiminske, sales person for the company, we knew that we were in good hands! He assessed our issue, was honest with us, and provided a fair quote on a new system. He did not pressure us, as some other companies had done. Also, the price was similar or less than the 3 other quotes we received! We decided to use this company because we trusted Bob and his team. For someone who does not like having service people in her home, the replacement process was seamless. I'd never use anyone else for an A/C issue!

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE - EXTREMELY UNRESPONSIVE. Our A/C was not cooling and knew that based on freezing of the lower line, it required a freon recharge. Had to call answering service twice to get a call back for after hour service call. Tech said it was too expensive to come after hours for 2 A/C units and to call during business hours. I said it was too hot in the house to endure, but he didn't think he could get out until hours later. Very poor and unresponsive - do suggest others use this firm. Based on my experience, I'm not sure how they stay in business

Two days later after they came it AC broke. I called the company and the lady who answered the phone was not helpful. I had to call a different company to fix the unit. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

They installed my in-laws unit several years ago, flawless job. Installation went just as well too.

Some how he got our system working and then came in and told me that the charge would be $214. I was surprised because when I called I was told that a "service" call was $89 and knowing that there were no parts involved and no "repair" I was a bit surprised. He told me that he checked the pressure, reset the system and checked that it worked which to me would be considered a service call. He did not clean anything, change a filter or anything like that. If it was based on time spent the I would say that he spent more time scratching his head, reading the cover and staring at the system. Thank goodness I had a coupon which surprised him but brought the charge sown to $183.

My furnace wasn't working. They came out and realized the breaker was tripped. Of course, I felt silly for not checking that myself. So, 20 minutes after he left, it tripped again. They had to come out again the next day and replace the breaker. Not sure if that's something you would check on the first look or not...

Wonderful,the tech was knowledgeable, quick, and did not resent me watching & following him around. The Angie"s list $31 was very helpful! Thank goodness I HAVE MY A/C back! Nice & cold.

I called when I got home from work after I noticed that our AC was running but no cold air was coming from the vents. It was after hours so the answering service picked up the call. The person asked if it was an emergency, and I said no but I wanted to schedule something for the next day since that day would be Friday, before the weekend. She asked if I wanted someone to give me a call right back even though it wasn't an emergency. I said yes and did get a call right back! I was able to talk to a technician and get an appt for first thing in the morning. The tech arrived on time, made what turned out to be a simple fix that he had the part for with him and we were good to go. Kron was the second call I made. The first one was to another AC Repair Co on Angie's List. The person asked if it was an emergency and when I said no, she said she would take my number and someone would call me the next day. Well, they did call the next day, but long after the Kron tech had come and gone. We appreciated the personal attention given by both the answering service and Kron!

I really cannot say enough good things about these folks. The end-to-end experience here was first rate, and they deserve kudos for going above and beyond in trying to meet and exceed customer expectations. My wife and I were looking to replace an aging heat pump/AC unit due to some on-going service issues. We had no bias toward any particular brand or company and so began calling highly rated firms from the List to get some estimates and recommendations for total system replacements. In the course of this process we gathered bids from no less than 7 different companies, and in configurations ranging from 14 SEER to 18 SEER. The prices here varied from slightly over $5,100 to $7,900, with the majority of the quotes on Trane, American Standard, Carrier, and Maytag equipment. The thing that set the Kron & West bids apart from the others really turned into customer support for us. After getting their initial bid on several Carrier systems I asked their representative, Ryan Brown, if he could get us quotes on similar Trane equipment just for comparison purposes. Not only did he email the quotes the same day as I sent the request, but I followed up with several emails over the weekend and in every case he answered back, usually within an hour or so. A lot of my questions were about SEER and BTU, as well as why certain air handlers went with certain compressor pakages and everything was just very professional. I had also asked Ryan about possibly increasing the duct size to a couple of rooms that seemed to stay a little warm, and after he had done a load calc to determine the correct tonnage, he made a couple of recommendations for increasing the duct sizes and that those changes would be included in the pricing. So, after deciding to go with the Carrier system from Kron & West we scheduled installation for Friday, July 24th. Ryan said that the installation crew would be out between 7:30 and 8:00am, and Chris and Marvin, the installers, showed up a little before 7:30 that day. In spite of a pouring rain that started around mid-morning, they got the old system removed and the new one installed by 2:30pm that day, although the outside pad would need follow-up to finish leveling everything after the rains had stopped. The following Friday, July 31st, Ryan came back to meet the county inspector and make sure everything was code. Ryan said they would be back to finish the leveling and install some blocks around the unit after I had expressed concern about the lawn maintenance people possibly hitting things with their weed whackers or other equipment. They were out the following week to finish up on that, and also do a little adjusting on the ductwork that needed to be done. As I said at the beginning, these folks were professional in every aspect of our interaction, and the follow-up and attention to detail have been first rate. Highly recommended.

Competitive bid landed the contract, including commitment to perform the job within 24 hours. Arrived promptly, estimated time to complete was accurate; neat with minimal cleanup needed. Installation was a name brand two ton compressor and handler and included a Nest thermostat, accessible online. Two years of free bi-annual inspections. The competing bid offered an off brand 1.5 ton system for about the same price, with digital thermostat and noncommittal start date. For a name brand alternate bid, the competitor's quoted cost was about $600 more expensive. In short, a good experience characterized by fast, professional service at a good price.

Brian, showed up like the Cavelry riding in to save the day. He was professional, knowledgable, and skilled. He was there to get the ac back on line and so he did. He drove over 50 miles to get parts and then knocked out the repair like a boss. Its simple... These are the guys you want.

Danny was very polite and professional. The system is back on-line and working great. I signed up for a maintenance plan, which gives me a great deal of relief and peace of mind. I sensed honesty and a positive attitude; very knowledgeable as well. Thank you.

It took two service calls to fix the problem, but they made a fair adjustment to the second call not to penalize me for the extra time and material on the second call. They care about their reputation and being fair to their customers. Problem is now resolved.

They sent us a reminder note to schedule the free checkup. A timely appointment setup. Nate, the personable technician, showed up on time and went above and beyond to make sure we were completely happy with the new system. The system Kron and West recommended is working out very well.

They have fair pricing, prompt and courteous. I thought they did a good job.

I called at 1:00 to ask for a technician to come and look at my air conditioner which had stopped blowing cold air. He arrived at 3:30. He was very professional and knowledgeable and fixed the problem pretty quickly.

Sales person was very easy to work with, job was scheduled very quickly and installers were on time, stayed until the job was done and were very courteous and efficient and helped work through situations that were unforeseen with the new installation and gave me options of the best way to proceed. I was very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

Diagnosed problem - bad capacitor, replaced, tested, and was done. Worked in the rain under an umbrella as the sun was setting.

All went well except that the new A.C. system did not work the day after it was installed. I phoned the company and they sent out a technician right away and the problem was immediately addressed. Everything has worked well since then.
