Outstanding work by Gary L. Stewart Roofing. Gary did a great in organizing and completing the job. Super communicator as well! The roof repairs looked fabulous - great job in blending with my current roof. And the worksite was neat as a pin! I highly recommend!

Gary and his helper did a great job repairing my roof. He was very prompt and thorough and got the job done at a very reasonable price. He made sure the shingles used in the repair matched to the shingles currently on the roof. I would recommend Gary to anyone for roof repair work.

Dependable and knows his business

Very unusual roofer! Why? He showed up on time and get the work done as promised in one day.

I initially hired them to come and repair a beginning leak by re-flashing my chimney. Work was done fast and well. I give them a 5 for that project. Immediately after finishing, we got a leak about 2 feet away from the chimney that was not there previously. We called and he said he would have someone out the next morning (Saturday), which I appreciated. Two young men came and looked it over, but said all the roofing supply places were closed and they couldn't do anything till the following week. We were told it would be another $400 to fix this new leak (even though it was suspicious that it started right after they had worked on the roof). When they came to patch the leak; they took pictures and the patch looked very nice. I did point out that the patch was not even close to the leak. It was at least 2 feet north and 2 feet east of the leak and sure enough that night the leak started again. I called again and he said that he didn't know how they could have put a patch in the wrong place and even after sending him pictures of where the patch was versus the leak; he still said it was not in the wrong place. Apparently, they determined the spot to put the patch by tapping the ceiling with a broom handle... okay. Gary Stewart himself came this time to view the spot where the leak was as well as where the patch was and determined that maybe they did need to put a patch directly above where the water was coming in. My understanding was that some effort was going to be put into fixing this leak by really digging into it, but Gary's understanding was that he was going to put a piece of membrane and some sealant over the top of where the thought the leak was. Next rain... ceiling poured water. That was it; we were done with Gary Stewart Roofing. I called two other companies to come to look at it and they both discovered cuts all over the flat roof in the area where it was leaking. It was described as "looks like someone was using the area to cut shingles". I'm not accusing anyone, but it is coincidental that a leak starts right after someone is working two feet from the same spot and are cutting shingles for that project. I have since hired another company (I gave Gary Stewart several opportunities to quote me a new flat roof, but he never did it) to replace the entire roof.

He came when promised, got our chimney roofed/flashed correctly, but unfortunately a new leak in our flat roof appeared the very next day. Their work did not cause it, but it just was bad timing that they had been working very close to that area the previous day. He promptly had someone over to look at it on a Saturday morning and came and fixed it the next week. He took partial responsibility for it even though it was not their fault.

Gary was very responsive and fast. He had our roof repaired in no time, Thanks!

I had to go through Home Advisor to get a roof repair for my mother who lives in Port Orange, Florida and I live in California. I hired Gary Stewart (so did my mother) to repair her roof. He was very professional and was on time. It is always nice when someone actually shows up on time.

Gary did job himself with rob they did a good job good price and did job a couple of days after quote I was impressed ?

Honest guy. What I thought was an issue with my roof really wasn’t. I totally appreciate someone who is honest enough to look out for my best interest. When I do need a roofer in Daytona, I know who to call .
