Carlson Enterprises LLC - Daytona Beach

Buyer beware. We experienced repeated work delays with no explanation provided, unreturned phone calls, a demand letter from a subcontractor threatening to place a construction lien on the property due to Carlson's failure to pay them, etc.. Check out the company's profile at the Jacksonville Better Business Bureau website - that will tell you all you need to know. ActionNews Jax did a story claiming that the company its employees write glowing reviews on websites. I'm not in a position to confirm or deny, but given the BBB profile, I have to wonder. I certainly feel duped by the Angie's List review and am hesitant to trust these reviews again in the future.

Gave Carlson half of money in beginning of March. Was told by sales rep that there was only a 2-3 week waiting period for a new roof,because we were a cash sale we went ahead of the insurance claims. Two days after signing contract I was told that we were on the schedule for May 15th (two months out) but we would be moving up. They needed to hire more people and were advertising on Craigslist for roofers. May 15th came and went. Each time I called I was given another date two weeks out. Carlson has had our money for over 3 months and still no signs of a permit, singles or dumpster at our house. Rainy season is here and I'm afraid the house will receive more damage unless done soon. Worried that they have scammed us out of $4230 or if they do eventually show up will they do good work.

Carlson Enterprises and their team were diligent and persistent in dealing with a difficult insurance situation. They responded quickly to our questions and kept us informed throughout the entirety of the project. A+ Carlson!

They did a great job - very fast, very professional. Gustavo was very helpful and managed all the interactions with my home insurance after the hurricane. The roofing materials were high quality.

The net result of this company's unethical activities was that we completely wasted six weeks. We had to go out and find a new roofer, then wait in a long line to get our roof done. This took almost four months from the date of the hurricane. We were trying to sell our home at the time of the storm, so we had to make several extra payments on an empty house because of the extra delay. STAY AWAY!

Just started the process of having my roof replaced due to hurricane Matthew. I can only express my satisfaction so far with the consultant, David Marchese. He arrived at my home the same day that I called him and immediately began to explain the process of getting the roof done, I had already made insurance claim and was waiting on paperwork from them with the itemization. That was on October 28th. I had no problem reaching him by cellphone for questions I had forgotten to ask, very professional! Received paperwork from insurance co. November 2nd, called David and he was here the same day to go over package he had left with me and for signatures needed to proceed with job. So far I am totally impressed with his knowledge and professionalism, not to mention how prompt he was in getting this process started. Stay tuned, more reviews to follow when job actually starts.

They did a great job from beginning to end. Craig was there for everything I needed. The roofers are three of the hardest working men I have ever seen.( 110 heat in the shade!) Great team work by all. I have all ready told two family members to call. Thanks
