We're a small customer based service company founded in 1966 to pay my college tuition. over the years we grew to be the Premier painting co in Milwaukee. We won (15 Angie's List SUPER SERVICE AWARDS Between 2001 and 2015. Chris and I moved to Florida in the Fall of 2007 and the crew followed. We are now Painting in and around the Villages. Lake , Marion, Sumpter counties.

"Yesterday Garry (GS Painting) replaced my front and back entrance door hardware, corrected a problem with mold in my skylights, and touched up some smudges in the paint on my interior walls so that they look new again. Once again I had an extremely positive experience with GS Painting. Whenever I need help with painting, carpentry, fixup, or general maintenance, Garry is the first and ONLY person I call. Not only is he reliable and very professional, but he does top quality work in whatever I ask him to do. I have used him 3 or 4 times since being fortunate enough to have found him on Angi several years ago, and he NEVER DISAPPOINTS. He is knowledgeable and resourceful, always figuring out the best way to solve a problem. He is thorough and does not take shortcuts in order to finish the job--he stays with even the most challenging of tasks. He takes great care and pride in his work, and rightfully so. "Work was drawn out due to our vacation and several unexpected out-of-state funerals. Communication with CGC office staff was 2.5 (on 5 point scale). A payment schedule - when and how much - should have been explained in advance. The work: removed steel bathtub and tile surround, plumbing relocated, new cement board, fancy tile, new plumbing fixtures and glass shower doors installed. Wallpapered dining room walls had light plaster coat first applied to smooth out existing orange peel texture. Excellent attention to pattern matching. Paper waste was minimized."

Exterior painting services FAQs
You should paint your home exterior every five to 10 years, on average. Climate and surroundings can affect how well paint holds up. Wood siding will likely need a fresh coat of paint every three to seven years. Paint on brick tends to last about eight to 17 years, on average.
Calculate the square footage of the area you want to paint. Divide the square footage by 350 (the average square footage a gallon of paint covers). Multiply the number of gallons you need by two, as you’ll likely be applying two coats of paint. For a more accurate estimate, subtract the square footage of the windows and doors from the initial square footage total. It’s a good idea to plan for an extra gallon of paint to make sure you have enough to finish the job.
To calculate the square footage of a home exterior, painters multiply the length of the wall by the height of the wall to be painted. Then they add the total square footage for all of the walls to be painted. To calculate the price, they multiply the total square footage by their cost per square foot to prep and paint. Additional costs may factor in such as repairs, additional trim, and walls higher than the first story.
The cost to paint the exterior of a house ranges from $1,900 to $4,500 or about $1.50 to $4 per square foot, depending on the size, height, and complexity of the home layout. Other cost factors include your location, the type of siding (e.g., wood, aluminum, brick, stucco, etc.), and the kind of paint (e.g. oil-based, latex, acrylic, etc.). Painting the trim a different color or painting intricately designed trim can also increase the cost.
You should apply at least two coats of paint when painting the exterior of your house. Two coats of paint provides better durability and more even coverage than just one coat.
