The 2 gentleman from Coastal were polite and professional. They were earlier than expected and even gave me pointers to better maintain my system. I have always used Coastal to pump out our tank and will continue to do so. They are always the least expensive, too.

Tech broke septic tank lid. When I complained on Angie's list the company contacted me and wanted to know what happened. After I explained what happened to Stacy she indicated that the owner wanted to make things right. I sent pictures of the damage and a receipt for the replacement lid. I have not heard back from them.

Great, sent pics from beginning to end so I could see what was done without being there.

Not satisfied with this contractor at all.

They found that the home I was about to buy had a completely shot septic system which would have cost me 15-20 grand. I am so thankful I hired them. They had quoted me around $400 to inspect, clean and do a load test on the system. They ended up just charging me $287 since the load test turned out to be unnecessary since the system was shot and had been rigged to sort of temporarily 'work'. They could have charged me the whole contracted price but they didn't. Needless to say, I won't buy this house but I will use them when I do. Tip to homebuyers...if the home you are looking at has a septic system and it's older, have these guys inspect it, it may save you thousands or at least give you peace of mind.

Terrible. I had an appointment scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday Nov. 9th with a Coastal Septic rep. By 9:30 no one had shown up nor had anyone called. At 9:37 I called their office and was put on hold for over 15 minutes. When the woman came back she said the tech will be there in an hour... no apology, no reason, nothing. I told her I had taken time off work for this appointment but she said there was nothing she could do. I called another company & will never call Coastal Septic again. Buyers Beware!

The tech quickly diagnosed a wiring issue with the pump and presented me with 2 options on how to fix it. Quality of work was good and he didn't mess up the yard at all.

Office staff was knowledgeable and polite and efficient. Appointment was set on date and time I requested. Workers were also very professional and polite answering all my questions. They found and entered the tank on the first try disturbing a very minimum amount of turf and then returned it so that it blended into the lawn as though it had barely been disturbed. I would recommend them to my friends.

Called coastal and had them come out to pump tank. We have used them several times in the past. They are always professional, reliable and on time. They have employees who really seem to take pride in there work and do the job with integrity. We would not use anyone else. We highly recommend!!!

Our toilets and shower backed up on a Sunday evening. Not pleasant to say the least. I called Coastal first thing Monday morning and spoke with Mark. When I explained what was going on, he recommended we get the tank pumped and also suggested that it may be that the filter is also clogged, especially since we've never had it cleaned and it's supposed to be cleaned ever year (we've lived in the house 4 years, and the house was built in 2004, and we don't know if the tank was ever pumped before we moved in). Mark said they had an opening Monday afternoon. I asked if they could give me a head's up when they head out because I was at work, and sure enough I received a call saying that the technician was on his way (about 30 minutes out), which gave me plenty of time to get home. Phillip was very professional, and explained everything he was doing as he was doing it. (I'm a novice when it comes to septic systems so I asked a LOT of questions.) :) As predicted, the filter was extremely clogged and the tank was full, so Phillip cleaned the filter and pumped the tank. When I spoke with Mark in the morning, he estimated it would take between 60-90 minutes, and that's exactly how long it took. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I'm so glad we called Coastal! Would highly recommend them and we plan to use them on a yearly basis to clean the filter!

I was in a panic when I called the provider around noon on Tuesday, they were at my home by 2pm. I had already had a bad experience with a prior service that was suppose to be there already, so this was the second service I had dealt with in two days.( I had talked to several but only had set up appointments with one other). They opened the septic tank, drained it, cleaned it, showed me what to do if it ever backed up until they could get there. Taught me the do's and don't of owning a septic, as this is my first time having a septic tank, and got me started on the correct maintenance. I really can't say enough good things about this company, right from the first gentleman I talked to on the phone from the call center, right on through the service. Thank You very much.

Philip and Bill were great - explained every step, help me understand how to improve the performance of my system and provided recommendation. This is a household system that one does not normally think about, but can be a real problem when not maintained properly. Coastal called me about an hour before they showed up. Polite and courteous. I will use them again.

They Had to replace the concrete lid on Grey tank because it was broken in the process of removal. It was old and brittle. I don't the what the cost will be for new lid.

Our house sepric system backed up 2 days before Christmas Coastal septic send out their crew on Christmas Eve day to locate and pump my system. the guys were great the system was located all the workings of the septic system were explained to me and the tank was pumped all before noon.

The service was prompt, very fast and the guy was very nice. He found the tank immediately and really knew what he was doing. We will definitely use them again in the future and would ask for the same man if possible.

Did what was necessary, no fuss, no bother. Help polite and considerate. Who needs more?

I feel this is a good company and the work they did as far as putting in a new septic and drain field was fine. With that said. I will tell you what I did not like. While they were digging they hit an artesian well. All work had to stop wile they called Dand E pump service to come out for abandonment of the well which I had to pay for to the tune of $785.00. When all work was done I was told I would have to pay to have the old septic tank hauled away even though the original quote included this. During installing the new septic tank the top was some how broken and did not pass inspection so a new one was put on. I can't help but believe the extra $525.00 they added to my bill at the end was their way of covering their cost of the new cover. I was told by their employee that no, the top was over $900.00. What I am really sick over is the condition they left my yard in. They completely tore the sprinkling system on that side of the yard out of the ground. Not only that, the sprinklers are not to be found. They took out an ornamental bush that had been there for over thirty years, one that my husband was told by their employee Lonnie would not be in the way. Yes, we are in our seventies and must have been naive to think anyone would leave our beautiful lawn in this condition. Yes, they do state in the contract that they are not responsible for damage to sprinkler systems or existing landscaping however I didn't realize it would be left in this condition So, when you have this kind of work done you have to understand that even though you have just paid out several thousand dollars, that is only the beginning. Now, you must pay to have someone come in to replace all the sprinkler system that is no longer there as well as put in all new grass that is now only dirt. Like I told the guys when they were finished if they had only mentioned it to us and given us a little heads up we could have taken all sprinkler heads off and somehow marked where all the pipes and sprinkler heads were to go. I am truly devastated at how my front and side yard look.

They did a great job. Both guys were very experienced and friendly. They showed up when I was told they would. They quickly found the septic tanks, got the job done, and cleaned up.

I don't usually call a septic tank service just because I feel like it, but only when my drains are backed up, so it's usually an emergency. Coastal always responds promptly and empties the tank for a reasonable price. They don't leave the yard a mess. They are careful about removing the grass from the tank and putting it back so that it grows again. They are a great company. I don't remember the exact date or price.

Needed help from a professional after determining my septic tank was causing burbling in one of the bathroom toilets when a shower or toilet was used in a different bathroom in the house. Made an after business call for service. Call was returned within a couple hours. Determined the issue wasn't an emergency and scheduled for a crew to come out to pump my septic tank the following day. A two man crew arrived with in the scheduled hours. They were professional in appearance and attitude. Funny as all get. They quickly found the tank, dug up the top, pulled the lids and immiediately found the problem---plugged tank inlet. The tank was pumped, leach field filter cleaned, pumps back-washed, toilets tested, and the lids sealed after servicing the unit. These guys answered all my questions with experience, knowledge and a lot of times with humor. What great customer service! Best part to the whole experience? My wallet didn't scream in pain. The cost was most reasonable for the service performed.
