The Chief arrived, concentrated all his effort on the job, completely accomplished the repair, and tidied the area before he left. He was flexible in scheduling the work, focused on the work at hand without taking breaks, and left no mess for me to clean. The columns look like new. He was quite pleasant and entirely professional. I asked for his business card and will call him to do repair work in the future.

Mr. Kreis went out of his way to work me into his schedule and ensure the repair was completed before my appraisal and home inspection. The work was completed quickly and professionally, and the repaired part of the door frame blended in perfectly with the original wood.

It was great! Chief returned my call right away and kept in good contact with me all the time. He arrived when he said he would was clean courteous and efficient. He did a great job which is not always easy on old houses like this one. I'm planning to have him do more work in the future.

It was a great experience to have this handyman. We are in process of fixing home to sell, and had become overwhelmed with it all. He was able to come two days after first contact. Was very punctual and efficient. He did not mind us finding new little things for him to do while he was working. We are very pleased with his workmanship, and will use him again if needed for final fixes.

When I called the Chief Handyman he called me back quickly. Shortly after he called after evaluating the job and gave me a quote. He had a big job coming up. I told him I needed to have it done fairly quickly. He squeezed me in before his much bigger job on a Saturday. I really appreciated him fitting me in when I knew he had a lot going on. The house is a rental and I like to keep my renters happy. He called when he arrived and called when finished. The gutters and the whole outline of the house looked wonderful. He cleaned up the mess and all the debris and bagged it put to the curb. This house is closely surrounded by large old oaks. When the gutters are filled they are clogged with wet messy debris. I was very impressed with everything he did. He also took a look at everything he saw and gave me advice about monitoring vulnerable parts of my roof. He also gave advice on the care of some of my large plants in the back. I believe any job given to him will be done "as if it is his house." He struck me as a completely capable take charge, take care of business kind of man. I will call and ask for his services again. He probably can do just about anything. Great experience. I highly recommend him.

Polyurethane sealant is not easy to work with but the Chief quickly figured it out and did a fantastic job. Absolutely top-notch work!

We set an appointment time and he was way early which I liked. His estimate was double from the other quotes I got, was surprising. Then he preceded to go into a lengthy speech on the problems of Ameica and how the Tea Party can safe us. He's a founding member in this community. Keep politics out of your job. Didn't go use him not just because of the price but I was worried the quality of work would go down because i disagreed with his point of view

Call returned, on time as promised, estimate was very reasonable. Job completion was on time. Extremely courteous and professional.

We played phone tag for a long time but when he finally came out he gave a good reasonable estimate. However after weeks of not hearing from him and a few miscommunications(not his fault) he scheduled a date and then canceled due to expected weather. I was never able to see any work so I can't comment there.

Excellent service! I've used him for multiple service calls to repair dry rot, install door frames and doors and install ceiling fans. Superior work and service always at a fair price; I whole heartily recommend Don and will continue to call him when I need repairs.

He provided a fair estimate for the work and discussed how he planned to accomplish the work. He scheduled the work and met the schedule. Called ahead and was on time. He and his helper were courteous and professional. They accomplished the work within a timely fashion and the workmen ship was excellent. After fixing a known leak on my roof he inspected the entire roof on his on and repaired a couple of additional leaks with no extra charge. They wrapped up and cleaned up; no evidence that they had been here.

Our pillars on our front porch were cracking and the wooden bases were rotting. On our patio, the wooden bases on our posts were cracking. Mr. Kreis was very professional, friendly and upbeat with a good attitude. He was the only repairman out of four we contacted who actually gave us a fair price, knew what he was doing and actually showed up and completed the work. It was very hard for us to find someone who knew how to go about making the repairs and was willing to do the work for a fair price. It required digging out rotted wood at the bases of columns and cutting new wood to fit under them. I indicated the work was not an emergency situation when we contacted him in May. He actually completed the work in mid July while we were on vacation. The completed work was great and exactly what we wanted. He also was immaculate in cleaning up afterwards. Mr. Kreis was not intrusive at all while doing the work. We will definitely consider him for future home repairs.

He did a great job. The house is a rental and I was having it prepared for the next tenant. He picked up on several things I missed telling him about like the wood rot on the outside and electrical plate in the garage ceiling. There were a couple of small things I showed him I thought he included in the job like removing labels off the floor molding that but he said he didn't releazie I wanted him to take care of it. He suggested some goof off from Lowes that worked well. The other was a couple of places in the kitchen that needed a little touchup paint. Overall he did really professional and timely job.
