+ -1 moreHe and a helper rescued me, he was able to come out the next morning on the weekend!, hauled off the nasty refrigerator in their trailer and cleaned up all the mess with mops and baking soda. I was very appreciative to say the least!
Description of Work: He rescued me from a very smelly, nasty job! My hubby was out of town, and our outside refrig went out, and we had some very yucky stuff in it like fish which had leaked all over everything in it and all over the floor in our storage room attached to the rear of our house. The smell was so bad you could smell it out front when you got out of your car!

+ 0 moreI have some more, he's been doing it for about 3 years. Two weeks ago he did a remodel in our hallway, removing a closet, moving an electrical panel, all of that stuff. Best pricing around. His work is outstanding. He's not just a handyman, he was for many years a contractor so his ability to come in and do the work and know what needs to be done and give an accurate pricing it just unbelievably great. It's so hard to find a reliable, dependable and consistently good handyman that can do everything from resiliconing around the sink or the shower or whatever to taking down a wall and putting a new one up. He can do all of that.
Description of Work: For general remodeling I have Odd Job Joe. The last job was this morning. He was doing an estimate for a kitchen remodel. We are removing a pocket door and expanding the opening between the dining room and the kitchen.

+ -1 moreIt is an older home that has a wild wood texture and plaster and all from back in the '50s. He did a fabulous job of matching the the look so that even though they were new dry walls and not plastered, the paint in it matched with the walls and the room. His pricing is excellent.
Description of Work: We had a new electrical panel we wanted to put in but it was larger than the one that we already had. So Odd Job Joe LLC had to remove a closet in the hallway-just a sort of carpentry; tear it back to the stands, dry wall and paint it.

Description of Work: The agreement was for him to install Christmas lights on my house. Since he was on an hourly wait. I didn't appreciate him wasting time checking EVERY bulb on a strand of lights when I was already doing it and I had at least 4 brand new boxes for him to hang. I also told him not to bother with existing lights that were already hanging around my front door. I told him I would take them down myself. He took it upon himself to redo them anyway and then charge me for it. On top of that he charged me extra because it took him longer than he thought but didn't even complete the work we agreed on. I kicked him out. I am very disappointed in his service and would not recommend him to ANYONE. At the end, he left with more money than he said he would charge me, did work I explicit told him not to, and did not complete the job required.

+ -1 moreHe said he was totally booked for Monday and Tuesday ( Dec 30-31) and would call me to schedule something for Wed or Thur. Wed (Jan 1) was a holiday so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited until after the weekend to hear from him. I'm not saying he is a bad service provider as a matter of fact he could be the best in the biz but I have not heard from him.
Description of Work: No service was performed. I needed a 60" smart tv hung in my living room. I am also an R.E. Investor and I'm looking to put my rehab team together. Of course Joe didn't know this but that not the point. I could have at least got a courtesy call saying find someone else instead of leaving me hanging.
