Description of Work: I has a sprinkler system installation done. Scott had estimated the job would take a week but he lost his help due to an emergency so he ended up doing the work by himself and it took a long time. Scott didn't complete the drip system out in the garden . He said he got the wrong transistors and he'd be back. He will not return my calls to complete this part of the job. He also stated I could call him for the next year if there were any issues. Disappointed he will not return my calls, One week into the two week job he asked me to pay him in full because he was low on money. I'm glad I didn't otherwise he may have never come back. I should not have paid him in full until the drip system was completed. Also, he wasn't very careful. He cut the electrical line down to our dock even though I gave him a good idea of where the power was and he busted the pvc to the septic (he fixed that). Very disappointed with this one.

Description of Work: Even though we had used Advanced put in a pump in March, they never returned our many phone calls to service the pump when it began leaking a couple of months later. We had to finally call in another company. Very disappointed in the failure to even call us back.

+ -1 moreAfter researching Angie's list, I called and left a message. Scott phoned the next day and came by to assess the project. He gave me a proposal the same day and began work the following day. Scott completed the project by noon the next day. Scott called each time he was coming to let me know he was on his way. He was punctual, professional, and pro-active--suggesting alternatives and explaining the pros and cons of each. He cleaned up after his work each day leaving the area better then when he arrived. He is very knowledgable of every part of your irrigation system. While my sprinklers all worked well, I'll be sure to call him if I need help.
Description of Work: Scott replaced a 20 year old pump and motor, 35 year old indexing system, and timer. He added a rain sensor so the system will turn off when it's pouring rain and cleaned the pump screens (never had been done).

Description of Work: We have used Advance Irrigation. They extended our sprinkler system, put in two hose hookup, did an electrical upgrade to it, and put in a rain sensor and rain gauge.

+ -1 moreOnly got answering machine on initial call. Owner took 5 days to return call. Scheduled repair, but called back later and said he could not do the the repair because he had forgotten he had an all job on the day on my appointment. That was all I could take.

We've had them out through the seasons, for turning on sprinklers and turning off sprinklers and fixing things. They've been great. They were responsive and informative on any questions I had. I was impressed at how much time he took. He went through every zone, watched every sprinkler and adjusted everything that needed to be adjusted. I was impressed with his thoroughness.

Description of Work: Replace pump, timer, replace sprinkler heads and rotors, change placement of some lines to get better coverage.
